Since very few games are 'perfect', I rate this one a solid four stars. The cartoon-like cheesy graphics interface could have been stepped up to appeal to the adults who play this type of game.
But here's what's great about Strange Thing:
* There is actually is a story line that makes sense * Music is pleasant when played softly in the background * Choice of tile textures * Relaxed mode available * Scoring is more lenient so you can achieve 3 stars * Unused grid squares are automatically crossed off * You accumulate coins so you can buy decorative items
This is simply a fun and relaxing game and it helps keep your mind working. Purchased it after the first few levels.

The only 'crime' here is that we're expected to pay for a game that was created free for your tablet or phone. This would be a cute game for kids so that's why I gave it two stars for fun factor.
After disabling the music, because it will grate on your last nerve, you'll find poorly drawn & fuzzy graphics. Game play will be clunky and really not worth your time or the effort.
Fit Club is a challenging time management, tycoon style game! As you build your fitness club you have to deal with guests and develop your sports teams.

This was obviously created by non-English speaking developers who didn't know how to provide instructions in English.
I was able to figure out that the first level starts while zoomed in. You have to zoom out in order to see the whole picture. But after that, I had no idea what do to with the customer that came in. And he kept falling asleep, from boredom I guess, however, I still had no idea which exercise machine to drag him over to.
You won't see new customers coming in unless you zoom back out, and leave your current customer. There appears to be power-ups and other features, but as others have mentioned, there are no clear clues as to what to do with any of them.
I suppose all of us reviewers could have spent more time trying to figure out this game, but I think we all agree that it just wasn't worth it.

First, I liked the innovative multi-colored and multi-textured squares in this game. And I liked that there are four modes of game play, including non-timed and custom. But there were a few major features that I did not like.
To start with, this game is designed for widescreen gaming. Unfortunately, I don't have that feature which means all the squares look like rectangles and the rest of the playing field is distorted and out of proportion. That's very distracting on the eyes and makes game play rather irritating.
I also don't like the cheap looking interface. One one hand we have the lovely backgrounds which use decent graphics. But then, the playing area is crudely hand drawn with fonts and graphics from the eighties.
Finally, when you're all done solving, the finished item is not labeled. Most of the time I knew what the object was, but at other times I had no idea what it was or how it pertained to the world's greatest cities.
These griddler/mosaic games are logic games geared for teens and adults. But for some reason the developers feel the need to use graphics designed for children. There is a sixth version of this game out there on other venues so I'll have to give that one a spin. Perhaps they ironed out a few things.
For some reason the developer felt the need to make the playing field smaller, which makes the cards smaller. Call me crazy, but I like to see the cards I have to play with. Conversely, the power-up icons at the bottom of the screen don't need to be so huge and I have no idea why the developers felt the need to mess with the graphics. The previous Snow White Solitaire game was much easier on the eyes.
I also agree with one of the other reviewers who commented about the huge amount of cards on the playing field and too few on the draw pile. I could understand that happening after many many levels as the game gets more challenging, but not so quickly like it does.
Even as a seasoned solitaire player, I was frustrated playing and enjoying this game. If you're a new solitaire player, don't blame yourself if you have difficulties maneuvering through game play -- it's not you.
Play First Games created the Delicious Emily series and those are the games I fell in love with. For some reason, they sold out; and in the process, they got rid of Francois -- Emily's sweet, bumbling, fashion-conscious & super hilarious friend. For me, that's when the games started going downhill.
It appears the new developers are gearing these games to be played on phone and tablet devices. I assume this because there's no way to add more profiles, there are no difficulty levels to choose from, and there is no way to adjust sound or music.
The mini games between the regular levels are difficult to score three stars on. In fact, many of the regular levels themselves are very frustrating to finish without throwing in the towel. There's a point where the game simply isn't fun to play anymore.
The story lines are becoming more juvenile and so are the graphics. It's nice to have more upgrades available but the ones I really needed weren't even offered. And while finding Carl the mouse in every level has been cute for many years now, I feel it's time to come up with something new.
I played two locations of Angela's Wedding Disaster and just couldn't take anymore of it. I have ended up starting the Delicious series from the very first game and will re-play all those wonderful creative old games again.
I like the concept of this game. Hidden objects. Added objects to find. Puzzles between levels to give your eyes a rest. It all sounds like fun. However, I find all of these Vacation Adventure & Cruise Director games too frustrating to play.
To start with, the people look like they were pasted into the scene. They are creepy. Around them are hand-drawn items, lots and lots of hand-drawn scenery and items all thrown together into each scene. Add to that colors that are either too bright or so dull that everything blends in together.
One of your added goals is to find trash. Unfortunately, it's either poorly drawn or only part of it is visible. So on many occasions the only way I could find all the trash was to randomly click all over the screen hoping to click on a piece of trash. Because if you do not find all the trash, you don't get the extra points.
Most of the puzzles/mini games are simple and a few were so tedious that I skipped them. However, skipping a puzzle means no extra points. Not finding all the trash or the silhouette items means no extra points. And using even one hint means no extra points. Yes, you can replay levels, but it all becomes so boring and monotonous after awhile that I quit after the sixth scene.
The music is the same used in all the previous games in this series. It's not bad, but I always end up turning it off and listening to my own music.
In order for a game to get a perfect five star rating, it really should be close to perfect in every way. This game just doesn't qualify, and I don't understand how other reviewers think it does.

I'm one of those people who always strives for a perfect score on each and every level. Yes, it's a curse but I like being forced to think and reason things out.
These mosaic games are supposed to be based on logic. So in order to get a perfect score, I cannot use a power-up or make a mistake. If I do either of those two things, I won't score perfectly.
Everything was fine until I got to the ninth level where logic suddenly flew out the window. I was forced to eventually use all four power-ups before I could complete the grid correctly. Sorry, but that's a deal breaker for me. Also, the graphics interface is cartoon-ish and hand drawn which I find distracting.
So even though I could play a jigsaw puzzle at each location and buy souvenirs for the vacationing family, it wasn't enough to entice me to continue on. Others who don't care about making mistakes or using power-ups obviously rated this game highly. I simply cannot do the same.
Yes, it's another of those simple basic games originally designed for tablets or phones. And yes, I won't be paying for this one either. Seeing the high five star ratings is totally baffling to me.
Hex looks boring with it's lack of color and flat graphics. And game play get boring due to a lack of variation. The game reminds me of the old peg jumping games where you have to end up with only one peg remaining. The first few levels of Hex are okay, but after that I lost interest.
This really should be one of those free-to-play games in my opinion.
