I've waited and waited for a sequel and finally it's here, and sooooooo much better than the first Rooms. Well, the first was pretty awesome too, but this one is updated with a bigger playing board which some other people found the last one bothersome. I'm just so excited. I bought without even playing the demo, that's how much I loved the first one.
Anyway, I'm into playing the levels now and it is so gorgeous. If this is the first time you've played Rooms you will appreciate the tutorial in the beginning levels. Don't worry they leave you alone after they've explained all the gadgets and movements. Then it will be up to you to use your know-how to escape the rooms. It's going to be so many levels to enjoy. And I'm looking forward to a delightful story.
If you like trying to figure out mazes your going to love this game. It's easy in the beginning but that is only to teach you. You will not find anything like these Rooms games they are so unique. It's an extraordinary game, I can't rave about it enough. You'll be trying to get from point a to b using sliding rooms and gadgets.
The humor was off the wall in the first Rooms. I'm sure this story will be just as delightful. Also you will be searching for missing puzzle pieces. If you decide to buy both games go for it because they will give you a whole new character and story. I'm not sure yet if I will encounter any new gadgets but it don't matter because the adventure itself is new and exciting and well worth another buy.
I'm sorry I'm writing this review early on and cannot tell you specific differences yet between the two games but I couldn't wait to give a big shout out to the developers and Big Fish for this second game. THANK YOU. I'm so excited my brain is shaking. lol
I just loved the artwork in this hidden object game. It was very challenging to find the objects but I didn't mind looking long over the artwork in which they were hidden. The colors were just beautiful and I liked the artists style. I just wish they had desktop wallpaper.
The story was very engaging and I was looking forward to a good read. Unfortunately I was looking for a match 3 game but I will put it on my wish list when I'm in the mood for a challenging hidden object.
I think it is a very unique game and is not to be confused with the run of the mill HO with all the puzzles and interactive role playing. This is more like a storybook with hidden object scenes, and is not for children because the objects are very integrated into the artwork. You will get to enjoy a story as it unfolds through the pictures and linger in the paintings as you test your hidden object skills. They will award you with stars as you complete each level depending on how many wrong choices so no random clicking if you are wise.
This game is ok if you like the click and pop M3 games. Sometimes I enjoy them myself but there are now more interesting games out there of the same type. Season Match is a good updated series with a story line and added mini games. They also have power ups you collect in game and save for when you want to use them. I'm not sure this game offers that because I didn't get that far and only played about 5 levels before I decided this game didn't offer as much strategy or variety. But if you don't want to be bothered with the extras this game would fit the bill. I would compare the two. Check out my favorite version of this type genre.
This game is sooooooo long. I'm on level 163 and I still haven't cured Mel. I don't think he is ever going to be cured because I am so tired of matching the same old tokens now and seeing his sick ole face. This game is great when you start and it does have quite a bit of variety with gunk, bugs, different types of food to match and the salesman selling all kinds of neat stuff to help. These salesman items though are very weak but as you earn money you will get a chance to upgrade to a stronger remedy . Still, they are not that powerful. Also you get in game help of fresh start powder, a mega tab, direction bonuses, coins and candy depending on which type of match you make. So I will highly recommend but after awhile you get tired of Mel being sick with all those cute diseases. Maybe I just want another patient to work on. As far as the challenge, it will have easy and difficult levels and I've had to switch to an untimed game a few times because it can become very tedious when I'm not in the mood for trying to beat the clock especially with the power ups which aren't that strong and it takes awhile to build them up. You are not going to find a lot of levels with big explosions and super clearing of the board. No, they really make you work to heal Mel. You can't switch back and forth with timed and untimed so you will have to create a new profile. But it is worth the buy because you certainly get a super duper long game and the graphics and amusement are good. But after level 163 I want to see another patient or for him to change his diet and eat something different.
I recommend this game!

The Village Mage: Spellbinder
Weave your healing magic in The Village Mage: Spellbinder, a captivating blend of Match 3 and Time Management gameplay.
In this gameplay you have to make different potions for clients from ingredients on a match 3 board. You actually determine which icons are in play from the recipe by throwing them into a pot while the patient waits. Then you click the pot and you go to a different screen to play the M3. It is a different way of matching because the ingredients don't fall off board but are encased in bubbles which will gradually disappear so you can use them again. When you collected the proper amount of each ingredient the potion will flash and you can minimize the board. Your potion will be on table to serve patient. If you have another client needing the same potion you can just click pot and continue making another one. But if you need a different potion you close out M3 board and click new ingredients to throw into pot. You can also throw in old potions not needed to get their ingredients added to your new potion. One thing odd is you also will get customers while you are busy cooking in the M3 field so you have to interrupt making a potion to let the customer in door. BUT DON'T CLOSE OUT THE ROOM JUST MINIMIZE IT, or you will have to start making it all over from scratch. It is a little quirky and different so you might enjoy it if you get the hang of it. There is plenty of upgrades and stuff to help gameplay like increasing customer patience. It seemed like a really good different game but I had no patience with it because whenever I was making a potion without warning the M3 field would close and no potion was on table so I had to start from scratch again, Oh boy did that get the customers mad. Maybe I ran out of time to make it ? There is replay if you lose too many customers or you can replay level to get better score and items the customers give you for payment.

Forrest Gump Match 3 Game
Now is your chance to relive the amazing life of Forrest Gump in this exciting puzzle game: Forrest Gump Match 3!
I really can't complain about the gameplay. It was nice in all respects. Nice power ups, nice matching freefalls, explosions and all the good stuff you like in a match 3. My problem was I didn't like the board design. I'd rather more playing field which was taken up by the big swap versus group button and background picture. Also had flat feel to the graphics. I do own a game with similar feel called recycle mania which I didn't mind cause I got used to it but not my favorite graphic type. They didn't have a special curser either and it seemed a few times my swap needed a redo before it moved but not that it interfered with gameplay. There was no timer but they did award gold, silver and bronze medals which is puzzling if they don't have countdown to differentiate , instead they had a count up clock? Not a buy for me. Guess I'm spoiled with games like Lauraville and Floria. I love those type graphics instead and an optional timer on the playing board instead of doing away with them. But still this game has lots to offer with cool power ups and other game innovations. I say give it a try, it might be right for you.

This game is very short with only four neighborhoods to play, from trailer park to very rich houses and there is no going back to completed areas once you move out of the neighborhood or any replay of level . It either flipped by earning money or flopped by losing money. There are no other objectives but to earn enough money to buy granny a house. It will cost you 3 million, ha. I love granny but dag, should of had to buy her a reasonable priced house and continue to earn money from flipping houses so you could buy furniture and other things. It would of helped in the monotony.
The good things about this game is the match 3 variation on how you make matches. Instead of the traditional way, you have to slide the whole grid. I liked that and it made it fun and different. Also by flipping houses you had to repair items like the doors, windows, tile ect. which depended on the number of matches you made of that type in order to complete repair. If you made more of these matches than needed you wasted material and it reflected in your profits.
The not so good was after you bought granny the house the game is over. No bonus free play or untimed unlock or nothing, you start at beginning and game starts new again without saving profile. Also it claims 3 difficulty levels, but you don't get to pick which ones you play, they are mixed in every neighborhood. You have to be good enough to play all difficulties. I got through the game with only flopping one or two houses so therefore made my money fast to move through the more profitable neighborhoods. It took very good concentration and quickness with that timer going, so the challenge was sufficient. I liked the easy to medium grid but hated the hard grid. It was too tiny and hard on the eyesight with too many like colors, they all started looking the same and hard to make matches. It didn't even offer a shuffle unless you were completely out of matches. Regardless even with the timer I managed to finish the whole game in one day. I was hoping it would have replay value with an endless story line so you could continue to play. Maybe to earn money to pay granny's monthly bills, but nope. They don't even give a trophy for any achievements. Very disappointing. Was it worth the buy? No. Maybe on a very good sale. I would hope they would improve it and come out with a flip or flop 2 because I did enjoy this type of match 3 and earning money with this concept. Just too short with one objective, although it was fun so I will recommend.
I like strategy games but if the timer is down to the second between getting gold or silver it takes the joy out of it. In the first 7 levels 3 stars are possible with a few seconds to spare, but after that it becomes too difficult to get the gold status. Even following the strategy guide it will come down to the second performing the last task when everything was done without any lags in your workers or any over production of materials, that 3rd star disappears at the last second no matter how many times you retry. I also don't like the movement of the workers. Sometimes they stay and wait for a task and at other times they run back to home or perform another cued up task way in the other direction. It is hard to pre-check a task in sync because they won't allow you to check along the same path your worker is because it is considered blocked even if he has the materials to do task and will be hands free. So to cue or not to cue will be the question, risking time a worker is idle. Another annoying thing is the dialogue. You can't skip it. So while you are retrying levels you got to click, click, click before starting. And you will have to replay many, many times to get the 3 star. Is it worth a buy, YES. The graphics, cute characters and Blood Donald's are enough to make you want to play. Just expect it to be frustrating if you are after the gold status. You'll have to be very exact because even one extra wood when you needed one food will be in the way of a perfect score. I prefer my strategy to be whether I needed to build the extra sawmill or if I needed to repair the bank first before the food store or how many workers I needed. If I needed to upgrade and which path should I take first so as not to get stuck with no production of material and stuff like that. This game does incorporate some of these but the difficulty lies in even how much product you collect down to the one more or one less because you will need those extra seconds to get that gold star.
Welcome to Hotel Solitaire. On each floor you will find 5 rooms, each with its own game of solitaire. Play 15 different card games across 100 levels, either against the clock or with no time limit.
This is an excellent variety of solitaire games. Very simple solitaire games like higher lower, match cards, match suits, score thirteen, and build up suit. If you play the demo, the first floor will be easy peasy. As you progress up the floors the timer gets shorter and, deck turnovers are less. This can make for some frustration to win the level but if you are persistent and quick at hand you can succeed. It may take umpteen times replay and gut wrenching nervousness to pass if you are not an arcade loving type person. I think most floors are passable with 3 or 4 tries except for the 20th floor which is downright aggravating. I stuck with it because I just had to open the terrace to see what that floor contained. Spoiler alert, it gives you Klondike and Free cell gameplays. The good things about this game is I like the way it is designed like a hotel. You get in the elevator and go to whichever floor you want to and play whatever solitaire game you prefer as many times as you want. You also will earn shuffles, undo's and other bonuses every time you play each room. So you can play the easy levels to earn the bonuses and use them to complete harder levels. I also like the games in the casino and rec room. They offer different variety of solitaire games like pyramid, golf solitaire and quite a few others. The 20 floors in the hotel will have a timer that you cannot turn off but in the rec room there is no timer. So if you can't complete the game fully, you should have the rec room open and can play all the games offered in the hotel there. Of course as you complete the hotel floors they will continue to open more games in both the rec room and casino. The casino has a timer but it is not so limited and I found it to be timed at a good pace. I do not recommend this game for anyone who has difficulty with time management games but if you can do those types of games like farm frenzy, you can do this. Please note, each room is pass or fail.
I recommend this game!

Doodle God
Experience an all new spin on hidden object games with Doodle God. Combine elements to create your own universe!
I think this is an excellent original and thought provoking game. At first I was frustrated over the logic in the combinations until I caught on. It doesn't have to be what the elements are actually made up of. It is kind of a play on words or association type game. Trying to figure out what things you can combine together to make a creation, or starting out with a particular item in mind and figuring out how do you produce it. It is not reality so don't get out your chemistry books. You have to use your imagination and play around with word associations to be clever to create an object. It comes with an inventory list of all the elements you have created so you don't have to remember what created what. I think this one is better than the last Doodle god I tried so I bought this one. The main game gives so many elements to discover in three distinct categories. The beginning of creation, technologies, and Modern Age. The beginning alone has 197 combinations to discover. I haven't gotten to tech or modern age yet but I am anticipating a long game play. They also have four side games: HO, Quests, Artifacts, and Puzzles. HO you can play over and over again to earn manna which is great so you can buy hints and other game play help. There is no real money involved so ignore one of the reviews which state it is a pay to play. Maybe there is an app out there somewhere and it is being confused with this pc version. Another side game is Quests. So just like in the 3 main games, there are three quests: Save the Princess, Survivor and Great Inventions. So far I've only tried Survivor. In Survivor you have to escape off an island using combinations to make products just like in the main game. The quests are fun in that these give you an exact goal surrounding a theme instead of just a specific number of creations you must discover. Next there are Artifacts which give you a picture and word hint and you have to figure it out submitting various combinations from your index of items. Then last side category is Puzzles. There are 5 puzzles. One is Create Cupid's Bow. They are short little puzzles which you get a certain amount of objects and you only get to use them once to come up with the final product. Cupids bow gives you 3 angels a tree, a beast and Cupid. Overall this game is definitely worth the buy if you like thinking games. The game graphics and design are superb. I'm glad I bought it and gave myself some time to sink in to the concept. It became a very addictive and enjoyable, relaxing trivia game.
