I loved the graphics on this game, very stylish. The gameplay was unique in that you get to draw certain strokes to create bridges, brick walls, teleporters and more to get the characters to the exit. There are monsters, falling rocks and other obstacles in the way which you must avoid or lose a life. No problem, game doesn't end if you run out of lives. Just replay level until you get exit strategy in sync with the movement of the characters. I prefer strictly strategy game like ROOMS to get your character from point A to B without all the bombardment of objects so I won't be purchasing. But I did enjoy the trial. You got to give it a try if arcade games are your favorite.
Three of these games are identical they just change the icon from bubble to heart to pearl which looks like the bubble. The game itself is boring. Then the fourth game clicking on the changing art picture until all pieces form one picture is kind of stupid. I just don't get it.
Very unique gameplay. Fascinating stories to solve. I only had two problems with this. ONE that it doesn't have replay value and TWO that it only has 12 crimes to solve. I only played the demo and solved the first crime but decided not to buy because would be too short. I solved the first crime without any problem but didn't get promoted because during the course of play I chose too many wrong items. I didn't know you were penalized for this so I guess if I were to repeat the level without any errors would be the only replay value but without any variation in the story or who dun it, it wouldn't seem worth it. I liked the way after solving the crime you get to see how the crime actually happened. If you don't mind buying a game that will only last you a couple of days than its worth it for the great stories.
A nice game that's not complicated to play. On each level you must build a path across the water before the group of penguins reach any unfilled spaces and fall in. It takes a bit of strategy to where and how you place your pieces. You're given a number of items that you must buy with the fishes you earn in each level to help you achieve this; a tool to fill in empty spaces, a hammer that breaks off pieces you already placed, and a fan that slows down the penguins walk, to name a few. Bottles float in the water and if you cover them up in time you will get a freebie item. Of course there are pests that interfere that cause your penguins to fall in the water if you don't get rid of them with a click. I haven't found them too pesky which is good. You get a set amount of life preservers to save them if they happen to fall in. There are nice mini games in between levels which are fun too. My only complaint is when you're building the path across the water you can't get too far ahead of the penguins because they only show you a limited amount of the path at a time, no fair!

This game is one of the best M3 games I've ever played and I have quite a few. This game has so much to it that it never gets boring. So many goals and power ups to achieve while you are building your zoo. The challenge on each level is great. You have to clear tiles, bring down boxes get certain quantities of certain items and other objectives which all bring value to building your zoo. There is a built in strategy to doing this using the power ups and knowledge of how to obtain more bang for your matches. Then you get to use all that you obtained from your match game to build the zoo which in turn gives you different power ups or upgrades them. It becomes quite fun building that zoo too. You get to place the exhibits where you want them and all the trimmings in whatever random order you like. What is super great about the game is if the timer is too challenging for you then you can simply unclick the timer at start of each level and they make it easy for you that you don't have to go into options. It's right there at the start of each level when it tells you your objectives. The graphics are smooth and fun to look at and change according to your upgrades. It's just the right amount of challenge that won't have you pulling your hair out even though you may have to repeat some levels over a few times unless you opt for no timer. The big goal is to improve your zoo to number One ranking out of 1000 which makes it a long game with lots of fun along the way. I'm so glad I bought it.
If you understand how to play this one of a kind gem, you'll fall in love with it if you like memory and logic games. At first I didn't understand the principle of gameplay because it only gives you a one page, pictured direction instead of written instructions. After playing it for awhile then the one picture really is self-explanatory because it isn't complicated. I think it's more of a memory game than puzzle. Gameplay is as follows: You have a picture divided into frames which you must choose which frame goes adjacent to a known frame until the whole picture is assembled. It does have a timer that is necessary for the game play because without it scoring would make no sense, but it shouldn't bother you for those who don't like timers because you can play each level as many times as you want to improve your score. At first try of each puzzle you probably won't score a 3 star rating but it gives you unlimited time to study the picture afterwards and memorize what frame goes in each position. After a good study, replay the level and try to get a high score on as many frames as you can. The quicker you identify the missing frame that is randomly highlighted the higher the score and the skull bar on the side will rise and fall according to your selection. Wrong picks drop the skull and long delay in picking lowers your score for the selected piece. If you identify the missing frame right away you get a 100 score for that frame. Getting 100 scores back to back (chains# will increase your tally at end of level #each picture is a level). Also if you keep the skull at the top of bar repeatedly you will also tally up more points at end of level. After a few tries it will get easier to get the 3 star rating but it will be a challenge to your memory and logic to do it. Also, I think the art work is beautifully done. It's enough going on in each picture that really challenges you to use your logic skills to decipher which frames are adjacent to the missing frame. No matter how much you memorize using that logic helps. There are lots of levels to master and super replay value; because frames are chosen randomly each replay is different. It's lots of fun trying to beat your own score until you master each picture. It's a fairly decent length so you get your money's worth too. As far as not having option of untimed mode, if you consider being timed as a memory/logic tester you'll be more relaxed playing and eager to go at it again to improve.
This game is designed like Rune Stones but lacks the variety. It's 42 levels with the same match board over and over and over. You have to clear all the colored background each level to reveal a piece of the treasure map. I haven't gotten to the end yet to search for the treasure but it doesn't feel fun enough getting there. A plus is it has a variety of mode difficulties. It also has nice obstacles and power up pieces on the play board but it gets monotonous clearing the same icons level after level. It would of been ok if all the pieces weren't a dreary color, the background picture doesn't even change. It feels like I'm playing the same level each time. I don't mind the board shape unchanging because I do hate clearing pieces out of awkward spaces so it is a plus the board stays square, but the same objective of clearing the background got boring. I did like the optional timer which makes this better than Rune Stones which has only a relaxed mode. I just wish they would of switched up the levels with something new or added more objectives to each level like collecting specific quantities of each icon would of been nice. What this game lacks Rune Stones has, but Rune Stones lack challenge. This developer just can't hit the nail on the head to totally satisfy. I still bought both games though, each for it's own pluses.
When you start out, this game is absolutely fun. Great graphics, nice story line and fun match-3 dropping elements to bottom of board collecting items to progress in your journey. When you get totally immersed into the game half-way through, specifically China, it just is downright too hard. You have no other option to complete the game, so you just try over and over and over again getting the same results. My definition of an idiot. Maybe some have succeeded, and if you think you can be one of them, go for it. But be warned it is not easy with that timer ticking AND scarce power ups. I only recommend it to an expert M3 player.
Oh I just love these beautiful life-like match 3 objects. Its a nice big game board and super graphics. You don't mind staring at them for hours on end while playing. It is very challenging too to fill all the baskets with the specific flowers needed. Super cascades, plenty of bonus items. and different ways to match 3 tiles not just vertical or horizontal as long as at least 3 connect in the swap. There is a visual clock on board to let you keep track of the overall total level which you must fill a certain number of baskets of different variety. If you do not do so you loose a heart life. They can be replenished with game points but I haven't scored that magic number yet. Also there is a timer bar on the individual baskets you are filling which will not count if you don't fill them in time. This does not end the level but just will not go towards your total quota nor will matches not required (but you will get game points for them so not a total loss). The bar at the bottom of screen will tell you your quota filled and unfilled. Some levels you must also clear background game tiles or fill baskets before they reach top of pulley. It switches up so there is plenty variety. If the challenge is too much for you there is untimed. I love it. The untimed is just as fun because it gives you goals to complete level not just mindless matching so very relaxing but with an objective. I'm still in the month of June on calendar which counts the different levels as you progress. They give you different completion bonuses for each day like bronze, silver and gold but I haven't seen depicted on the calendar which is puzzling. You can also go back and replay any day which is great so you can have do overs without costing a life if you lost it but I guess with your old score too. I guess at the end of all your lives you will have a score tally and can compete with it in another game. This is just the match 3 I've been looking for. Super fantastic, I'm sure you will love it too.

Merv Griffin's Crosswords
Steel your nerves and jog your memory as you race against the clock in this fast-paced take on crossword fun!
After reading some reviews I thought this game would be right up my alley because I am a beginner crossword player. It has a nice big game board so no squinting. It starts out with easy enough clues and words but I seen in the game section it progresses to about eight different difficulty levels ending in hardcore so don't worry about it not being challenging enough . There is no opponent to beat except the clock. I believe it gives you about 3 minutes total to solve each clue which includes typing in the answer. Of course you must be a good speller. The downside is it doesn't have an untimed mode. I like taking my time no matter how easy to solve a crossword and although in the beginners mode I would be able to play a decent game I do not enjoy it as much against a clock. I've searched hi and low for a crossword puzzle game and there aren't many out there that use everyday language or clues pertaining to them without being a super sleuth. This game seems to give a wide range of difficulty so I give it the thumbs up for that.
