This game, has you completing the 1st chapter in the Classic mode; upon completion of said chapter, it'll give you a choice of either Classic or Easy versions of the game.
I like this game and I'm playing in the Classic Mode rather than the Easy Mode which is surprising for me to be able to do. If I remember correctly, I rejected this game when it first came out because I hadn't realized that all I needed to do was to follow the navigational wheel and once a particular area was checked off, then I could move onto another area.
Some areas, of course, you know that you'll have to return to in order to complete it but the navigational wheel was very helpful by informing me as to whether or not to keep searching for any items that you'd need elsewhere.
I found the hint button (just click on the person in the lower left-hand side# helpful as well as there was an area that I had NO idea as to what I was supposed to do.
I also liked how certain inventory items would pulsate so you knew to pick up those items #ALL AT ONCE) and place them mid-air so that they could transform into whatever and then return to the inventory box -- such as the logs for the caveman's fireplace.
I completed 4 chapters and was about half-way through the 5th chapter of a total of 14 chapters when the demo ended so I figure that this game'll take me approximately 3-3 1/2 hours to complete.
I found a couple of issues that you, as a game player, may want a heads up on:
SKIP BUTTON: does NOT solve the puzzle; it only allows you to get out of the puzzle to which you HAVE to return and solve the puzzle so that you can move on so if you're not adept in resolving some of the puzzles (the first one, for me, is impossible as I just don't understand the concept of knowing how to figure out the sequence), you'll want to not take up anymore of your time and just refer to the walkthrough for the solution and
HIDDEN OBJECT: there is one place wherein the object is so "hidden" that you practically cannot see it; it's located at the scene where you pick up the monkeys and it's either called beads or a necklace. You will find it JUST above the object listing and JUST to the left of a stone boulder that's on the ground; it's white as the sand that it's lying upon and
OFF-SCREEN: I've got a widescreen monitor and oftimes there'll be objects that are NOT visible but so off to the side (particularly on the right-hand side) that you'll not even be able to see your cursor when you're clicking trying to find whatever object; I attempt to stay in the same general area that the hint button showed the spot
This game was alright to play otherwise; it basically was relaxing and easy going.
I enjoyed playing this game because it offered several different tasks to complete and thus this game was not boring:
*hint was object specific (click on hint and then click on object you needed to find) *riddles (read riddle at bottom of screen and then figure out object and find it -- don't need to do riddles in order) *place objects in white-shaped silhouettes *hidden object scenes (find objects listed) *complete pictures either by swapping (if I remember correctly) and/or rotation *move objects around matching the subjects (very last puzzle) *moving colored stones into their specific-colored spaces
In the beginning, I did get temporarily stuck because I expected the scene to change (when completed) but it just sat there until I realized that I needed to click on the arrow(s) on the map located to the bottom left.
I found this game relaxing and with various tasks with a cute story, to boot.
I have to admit that I rather enjoyed this game because it made me feel that I was truly involved in each scenario.
Not only does this game have hidden object scenes but it also consists of returning stolen objects to their rightful places and it provides common sense, interactive procedures allowing advancement to the next step to catch the thief.
I found this game to be very engaging and interactive but I have to admit that the ending (which indicates a possible sequel and to which I look forward to) rather peculiar.
In keeping with the story, the ending should NOT have been as it was because now it makes a person wonder if there's 2 such machines that had been activated but only 1 found; hmm...
Despite the fact that I cannot see the pictures of the goals because they are off the monitor screen (only the number of goals is shown) I decided to buy this game anyway for 2 reasons:
1 -- MOST times I can see a tinge of color of the goal object and/or I'll target specific board objects and watch to see if the goal number diminishes, thereby proceed in gathering the pieces and
2 -- though at the moment I am playing this game timed, it does have a relaxed version of this game so if I misinterpret too often as to what the goal object is supposed to be, I can switch to the relaxed version and play this game without becoming frustrated.
Either way, this game appears to be very easy, EXTREMELY bright and colorful, and relaxing
I bought this game because of the fact that even in timed mode, the game appeared to be very straightforward and relaxing and beatable and because it also includes a Relaxed mode
While "fixing" the airplane, I hit a brick wall and couldn't beat the level and because I liked the game, I decided to go to the Options menu and tic the relaxed version of the game and start over from Level 1.
Wait--what? After ticcing the relaxed mode and after I clicked on the Adventures tab, the game did NOT start at Level 1 but at the level that I was having difficulty with. Could this be true; can I really continue to play this game in relaxed mode without starting the whole game over again? Sure enough, I was able to complete the level in relaxed mode
Hmm..... can I return to the timed mode and continue playing this game beginning with the next level? YES, I can
Therefore, while playing this game in timed mode, I was able to toggle between the relaxed mode and the timed mode (I needed to do this 4x) and complete the entire game.
So it doesn't matter whether or not you're playing timed or relaxed, you can do both and have fun and complete the game stress free.
I recommend this game!

Spirit Seasons: Little Ghost Story
Explore the Blindhill Place manor and meet the ghost of Agatha, a young girl who is haunting the huge mansion!
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game because of the fact that I could use the inventory items almost as soon as they were received and through the comments and/or hint system was able to figure out what to do and where to go to do it.
I only needed the usage of the walkthrough once (towards the end of the game) as to where to use one of the inventory items (to be honest, it still makes no sense) instead of having to refer to said walkthrough time and time again as I normally have to do when playing other games.
I have to say that I thought that some of the tasks (considering the circumstances, especially later during the game play) seemed ridiculous as well as the items collected but once said inventory items were used, it became apparent that the game developers know what they're doing. Oftimes, I would silently comment to myself as to the fact/idea that said combination of inventory items would indeed accomplish the same task in real life.
There was alot of talking BUT if a gamer paid attention to the comments, it became obvious as to what you needed to do and where you needed to go. It also helped me (for 1 set of tasks) to remember what I'd already done which helped me to complete the rest of the tasks successfully to move on in the game.
I found playing this game somewhat eerie as the sinking of the TItanic IS a real-life sad episode of history but well worth the time to play.
*objects extremely tiny *many objects off-screen of the monitor *hint button (in the study) would light up 2 areas where it was obvious that NONE of the objects left to find were there but I clicked and clicked and clicked anyway and came up empty *the newspaper horoscopes were difficult to solve due to the fact that the blanks would accept ANY letter/ANY word with NO indication that you're typing in the wrong word until you've completed the word. A person could go on and on and on in trying to solve them and waste alot of time *key items were found (per cell phone messages) but you were STILL left wondering what else was needed in order to SOLVE the level; I just clicked on the SOLVE button and moved on
The only reason why I continued to play was because the storyline was intriguing and I wanted to find out the ending. Have to say that this was not a game that I was happy with playing.
