I no longer purchase timed games UNLESS they provide a relaxed/untimed version; having said that I ALWAYS start a game with the timed version due to the fact that I DO like the challenge. This game not only provides both timed and relaxed, it MARVOUSLY goes an extra step.
While playing a level, you'll hear a warning that you're about to run out of time (if playing in the timed mode# while other times it'll ask you if you want to extend your game play for 2 minutes longer.
I'll look over my board and if I don't feel that I'll be able to complete the level within the allotted time left, I will click menu, save and exit #which takes you back to Main Menu), click play, click Relaxed, click Resume, and this game will not only start you BACK ON THE SAME LEVEL, it'll pick up where you left off!!!
When the next level begins, I do the same thing but I'll click the time version and then Resume to see if I can beat that level within the allotted time period.
For die-hard time-management game players this feature may appear to be cheating but for the rest of us who like a challenge but understand and ACCEPT our limitations, this game can't get any better than this and can be thoroughly enjoyed.
I recommend this game!

This is the kind of timed game that I REALLY like; when the timer runs out, the game gives you a CHOICE to restart the level or to continue playing the level until completion. This is a GREAT concept as I've many timed games that has ended up being deleted from my computer because I'd hit a brick wall in trying to complete a level.
There is also several Match3 game boards -- rotation of some of the boards, sending the bubbles to the top, releasing some fragments, chains, etc.
If you match 4-5 or more, certain power-ups appear on the board (these are in addition to the major power-up on the side above the timer) which will eliminate tiles across the board, diagonally, rearrange the board, and there's one that reminds me of an angel but I haven't been able to grasp an understanding as to what it does.
The game begins with an interesting story but it doesn't seem to follow through with it -- kind of disappointing but hey, this review is just based on the demo so maybe the storyline will continue somewhere down the line.
I recommend this game!

I found this game REALLY GREAT to play -- alot of walking around but for some reason, for me in THIS game, it didn't bother me at all.
There were a few times that I got stuck but the hint button was ALWAYS able to steer me in the right direction and onward, I went.
Remember, to collect all your origami characters (look ALL AROUND -- up, down, and all over) and DON'T forget to give the girl her present and WATCH her open it.
Know that, IF you've already picked up ALL the origami figures in a scene -- I think I had 1 scene wherein I collected 3 but definitely in some scenes 2 -- when you return to it there'll not be more to collect.
I found this to be a VERY commonsense-type game in which the items you had in your inventory were actually used in ways that you'd think to use them and I think that's one of the reasons why I enjoyed this game so much is because I didn't have to run to the walkthrough (except for 2x) and then go huh? you're using this tool how?
The ending cut scene is very cute despite its beginning.
I recommend this game!

I have to say that this game was very frustrating for the following reasons:
*objects are color on color making it hard to see
*all scenes are hazy; again making it hard to see
*hint button basically worthless as it does NOT pinpoint the missing object, it only SUGGESTS wherein the object is
*hint button remains "STUCK" when you click on it -- meaning that it'll circle the same area EVERY time you click on it DESPITE the fact that you, as a gamer, KNOWS that you CANNOT complete the area that the hint button is wanting you to work on because you STILL NEED that missing object
*walkthrough is fine for explaining how to put the inventions together BUT it does NOT show where the hidden objects are
*you put together 3 gadgets while playing the game ASSUMING that you're going to be using them in some way to release the butterfly back into its own time period but after putting them together, you never see them again
*game ends rather abruptly with NO INTERACTION in returning the butterfly back to its own time period
I found this game interesting because of the trivia facts that you learn of how, where, and when inventions were made -- glass, wheel, pulley, etc.
I recommend this game!

One of my favorite genre of games are hidden object games but THIS GAME??? UGHHH
*You couldn't tell from looking at 1/4 of the objects (even AFTER clicking on it) that it was the object that you were looking for
*Most of what was on the search list had NOTHING to do with the scenario
*MOST objects had the same color background as the object itself
*Most of the backgrounds were hazy making your search even more difficult
*The music made me want to shut down my computer as you can only lower the volume NOT mute it
*Let's not forget the proverbial hidden objects that are so far to the sides that they're off the monitor screen.
While I appreciate having the hint button (the only GOOD thing about this game as it recharged VERY quickly) when I am playing games, having to use it 3-4x per scene up to 5x in one scene is ridiculous.
It's listed as a DD today and I won't even buy it at the $2.99 price which is rare for me because I look to buy games when they're on sale.
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed the involvement that was had in playing this game and also the lack of wandering around wondering what next to do.
The tasks were somewhat difficult as the hint was not always helpful and you were left wondering what to do with the pieces; also sometimes it was a bit confusing as to what pieces you needed to pick up; though, once started it was easy to continue on.
The last set of mini puzzles have NO SKIP to them so be prepared to spend some serious time in putting the last picture puzzle together; referring to the walkthrough as to what it's to look like was very helpful. The other mini-puzzles were not difficult -- at least not for me, anyway.
All in all, the storyline was good, the voice-overs very good, and the tasks were credible.
I recommend this game!

I did NOT find this game fun at all and yes, I JUST completed it. The only good thing about this game was that the timer was only important as to the amount of coins earned to buy tokens -- which meant I had to play a few rounds 2x because I'd taken so long to complete that particular level.
Anyone who was able to complete each round within the 8-12 minutes stated by the clock -- CONGRATULATIONS. I, for 1, have NO IDEA how it's possible. Each round took me between 25-35 minutes to complete DESPITE using the tokens and DESPITE gathering crystals on almost every move.
Glad that I'm finished with this game and taking it off my computer.

I found this game a nice change from the dark, eerie games; this is a bright and light game to play with somewhat easy puzzles to play.
If you're not able or don't want to complete any of the puzzles, you just need to click on the ? mark (which is the hint button) and it'll ask you if you want to play a hidden object game in which you're directed to a playroom to search for 8 items.
This room will ALWAYS be the hidden object scene game play so if you skip more than 1 puzzle during the course of playing this game, this is the room you'll always see making it easy and quick to complete.
I recommend this game!

I REALLY did enjoy playing this game but have to admit that I was sorely put out by the music as the variety (what little there was) had NOTHING to do with ANY of the themes that a gamer was playing.
There were different themes (famous people, holidays, festivals) and I think that this game would have been REALLY GREAT had there been music associated with the different topics -- Christmas music, Roman music, Oktoberfest, etc.
I found the history provided for each completed puzzle VERY INTERESTING and learned quite a few little tidbits.
I recommend this game!

I have to say that I didn't enjoy playing this game mainly due to the fact that I spent more time wandering around the village than I did in completing the tasks necessary.
Even with the map (which is NOT interactive), I got confused several times because it'll display 1 road as being a direct route to the mill but it is NOT a direct route and you actually have to go all the way around and through the town to get to the mill. In addition to that, the map does NOT name the individual buildings and areas providing a better sense of where you wanted to travel
You also end up with MANY inventory items and a LONG list of tasks but rarely was ALL the items COMPLETELY in your inventory in order to use said tools to complete the tasks and by the time all items were there, you'd forgotten how to get to the place you needed to be to use the item!
I found this game very taxing on the nerves
I don't recommend this game.
