Every now and then a creative HOS/Adventure game comes along. I have several in this series and have enjoyed them all.
An easy going game with fantastic animations, graphics and voice overs. HOS were creative and fun and the puzzles you had the choice of working or skipping without waiting for a timer. Custom setting allow you to set your own speed for hint recharge to as small as 1 sec.
Story was good, but has been used before but the game play was very smooth. I believe the game was about 2 hours long sans working these puzzles of which I only worked a few. Dialog could be skipped but the voice overs were so well done I didn't feel the need to "escape" them.
I used a credit to buy this game but would not have felt disappointed if I had paid full price.
The developers are certainly coming up with new ways to make match 3 games interesting, creative and challenging. Totally enjoyed this game even thought the character graphics in the dialog were obviously designed by a team of men! LOL
Unique match 3 which can certainly be a challenge at times especially the golden trail which had me confused for awhile. Probably because I'm horrible at taking the time to read instructions.
Certainly a longish game and I feel I got my money's worth. Choice of relaxed or timed and two different kind of adventures if you complete the one.
Totally enjoyed this very long match 3 game. Very unique idea for a match 3 and a lot of fun to play. Has both relaxed and timed. I usually play relaxed first and then do timed on the next go-around. This game still is timed in relaxed mode but only to give you additional points for completion.
Power-ups are purchased with money received for "services" and you can collect them fairly rapidly. Absolutely loved this for different, well designed game. Too much to describe, you gotta play it. Impossible to complete in one sitting unless you really don't have a life. Took me several days and never got old.
It took everything I had to complete the demo. I agree the graphics and animations were well done, but the storyline was ridiculous and silly.
Gameplay consisted of a lot of varied HOS and foolish puzzles....and that Cat hint was annoying. Voice-overs were grating and the cut scenes and dialog were boring. Some you could skip others you just had to endure.
The game was slow and cumbersome. You spent a lot of time running around for one thing to return to another spot. Scenes just seemed to pass by very slowly. Basically the game was just a lot of HOS and slow moving, and a convoluted storyline. Not even a buy for me on a special.
I demoed this game and purchased it but didn't get back to playing it for a week or so. It took me awhile to catch up on the story. I have played others in this series and enjoyed them, but this one seemed a bit awkward.
Gameplay was not really smooth, you had to be sure you touched in the right spot or things didn't work. I usually don't have to use the hint very often but found myself using it quite a bit since there weren't a lot of the normal leads that made sense as well as the use of the inventory items.
Map was good and did show actions needing to be done but sometimes they weren't clear either. Just a lot of different things to do tossed into the game in a disorderly manner.
Voice overs were good and the cut scenes could be skipped if you wished. Custom setting option allowed you to set the hint and skip to refresh quickly.... hence I skipped almost all the puzzles which I found tedious and a bit over-used.
Game did seem short to me, but I love dragons and despite its faults, I did enjoy it.
I have all of this series and have enjoyed them therefore when I was going to lose my credit today I just purchased this without demo. Honestly? I don't think I would have even made it through the demo.
Slow, awkward game with HOS after another and really old school puzzles. Thankfully the game had a custom option and I could set the hint and skip to 1 sec. Transporter map was not the best so I just used the hint to navigate around. I bet I didn't last 30 minutes before I couldn't take the boredom, the silly, slow, awkward and annoying dialog.
Real dumb storyline...the whole game seemed choppy and just plain annoying. Oh well, I would have lost the credit anyway, might as well lose it on a loser game. I would have given it a 1 star but I don't use the word "hate". (I wish they would change that.)
The game board on this match 3 was a pretty standard match 3...no big challenges or surprises. However, there were several side games which were quite enjoyable. I especially like the "fight" games. Those were fun.
Whether you played timed or relaxed, there was still the challenge of finishing the level under a time limit to acquire coins faster. Coins were used to build the villages which paid out more coins in "rent" and also built up to buy power-ups which were board power ups. So there was always a challenge.
A long game...200 levels and if you didn't get 3 starts you could always go back at any time to re-do a level. A good match 3 to play when you want a break from the adventure games.
I enjoyed this game although the storyline is getting a bit old. Actually a bit on the scary/freaky side in some cases. Voice-overs were OK and could get a bit annoying. I turned the music off like I always do. A lot of dialog which you can skip and it doesn't effect the progression of the game.
Custom settings allows you to set the hint/skip to refresh very quickly so if you are not a puzzle player like me you can move along with the game. HOS were actually kind of inventive and different and I enjoyed them. Moving around through the different locations was fun although I did feel bad for the boatman at the end. The transporter map was a must as you move from one place to another quite a bit.
I found the game to be quite smooth flowing considering all the moving around you do. The hint appears to be a transporter hint also. A lot of things to do as far as putting things together etc. which made the game fun. I got it on sale, but wouldn't feel scammed if I had paid full price. Nice length not too short or too long.
Totally enjoyed this game. Great animations, voice-overs, graphics...total 5 star. Enjoyed switching between "lovers" and the ending was complete.
Only drawback for me was the numerous amount of puzzles which I was able to skip for the most part due to the option/custom setting which allowed for skip/hint fast refresh. I'm not a puzzle lover/doer! HOS were pretty standard interactive although I had to use the hint as some of the settings were pretty dark and things were hard to see.
Transporter map was excellent. Enjoyed the storyline. I've always enjoyed mythology so the twist on this tale was interesting. Have fun with this game. Worth every penny paid!
I recommend this game!

Demoed the game, purchased it with a credit and when I went back in I HAD TO START THE GAME ALL OVER! It did not save my game after the demo! Now I have to start all over...very bad programming by this developer, so be aware if you demo and want to purchase...you lose.
Took me awhile to figure out this game, but once into it, it was an OK match 3. It does have a relaxed mode, but the time is still present but very slow. I've always beat the timer so I don't know if later on it becomes hard enough you can't so I don't know at this point AND SINCE I HAVE TO START OVER, can't tell if the timer somewhere down the line stops the game and you have to use a "life" to continue. I've played games like this before and once you lose all your "lives" if it shuts down completely. Good luck.
