I loved the first Garden Rescue game despite the fact that I'm not much of an arcade game fan. This one is even better. It's strategy and "time-management" oriented like the first and plays very much the same. However, there are new bonuses in this version that are great improvements over the first game in the series.
Fun and addictive! It's a buy for me.
I recommend this game!

I'm sad to think that since this game bears the brand name, this will be the only release on BFG. That's too bad if that's true. I LOVED this board game growing up. I only played this computer version for a record 3 minutes! That's how bad it was. No explanations on what does what. My freebie cards had me wondering what they do. I couldn't see whatever was written at the bottom of the screen - even after hiding my toolbar. The game is so zoomed in, you have no idea what the board holds in store - - and it got me dizzy and confused. No thanks!

The first time I played the demo and finished the requirements for my daily fortune, it predicted the death of a loved one that day. Luckily, the creators of this mahjong are great game creators, not fortune tellers. It didn't end up happening *whew* but I still enjoyed the game. The only thing I didn't like was how the screen zooms to magnify the tiles as you get to the end of the pile. I found that distracting.

This game plays a lot like boggle - you must spell words using letters with coins behind them. You play multiple boards until your turns are up and try to beat a set score. You earn power ups and bonuses along the way. I found that when you play the larger board, the goal is very easy to meet.
It's a cute game and can be as frantic as you want because there is no timer, but you will want to get the speed bonuses. I like that in the options, you can chose between abridged and unabridged dictionary!
The only thing I found annoying to this game was the music, which is easily remedied through tweaking the options.

I love open ended time management games - games where you can choose where to put any element in the game. Well this is one of them! It plays a lot like roller coaster tycoon (or, if you're old school,Theme Park). However, the challenge and interest is heightened when you try to group like rides and attractions together to make special zones. It's a lot of fun and after my hour was up, I immediately bought it.
I recommend this game!

I found this to be an average restaurant time management game. Not bad. Something to use a credit on. A lot of negative reviews seem to be based around playing this game in relaxed mode. Well you're just asking for a boring game there! This game's fun comes from trying to serve customers in a time frame and make enough money to get proper upgrades. The challenge becomes greater as you try to memorize all the different drink recipes (you can view a recipe book, but that will knock you out of your momentum in a busy time). You will get upgrades to speed up your staff as you progress

Every time a new game comes out someone down-rates it immediately to the point where I don't even look at the first review any more. And that's a good thing because this is a great strategy game. And the opening movie was really fun to watch - good graphics and great music without any annoying voiceovers.
The gameplay is your standard "collect resources to repair or build" in order to complete a level. But there is strategy involved in that your resources are not unlimited. There's the challenge. It's quite good and I'll be buying it.
This game is all about assembly line construction of pieces of jewelry. I normally love time management, but I found this one to be boring at some parts and aggravating rather than challenging at others. Often, items would get "stuck" to my mouse that I couldn't drop until I threw them out to start over. It was worse when I got to the empress and had to bribe her attendant with silver rings. I would get stuck with her complicated order on my cursor and she'd be back to needing to be bribed. I'd have to throw the order out because my holding table would be full.

I know this won't be a popular review because people love their build-a-lot, and I do too. But! This was just like the past few build-a-lot games except with a different theme. The game play was exactly the same. The challenge the same. Nothing new except the scenery and characters.
I liked it and will get it just to have it added to the collection, ironically, which is what I think the developers count on (like all the Diner Dash Games and Farm Frenzy Games that are all the same, but people collect them).
