Lovely artwork, but an average hidden object game in general. There was nothing new or quirky about this game. I had to take points off for no reset button on the puzzles and there were a few screens that took forever to load on my computer, like the earth throne room, which sat in black screen for at least a half minute before loading up. I don't like voiceovers because I live in a house full of people, so I was happy I could turn them off. It was average - not bad at all, but not "wow". I recommend it, but I'm probably going to pass and maybe get it on a credit if no other games shine better this month.

As you can see from the title, I had only one gripe - my hours worth of progress when trying the demo was completely erased when the demo hour was up and it shut down the game. The game itself is great. Whimsical, charming storyline, music and graphics. It's better looking than the preview screens make it appear. Definitely worth a try - but be sure to SAVE YOUR GAME!!! >.<

Apart from places where the text is woefully behind the voice-overs, I have absolutely nothing to complain about with this game. There are many difficulty levels, so you can play the game again and again. It's a great length too - I played for most of the afternoon and evening yesterday on the easiest difficulty and am still not finished with it even though the storyline has been progressing at a good pace. There are a few traditional HOG scenes, but not so many to seem arbitrary and the objects tend to make sense for the scene. The rest of the game is about finding items around different scenes and put them to good use. The artwork is outstanding and the creativity of the storyline is wonderful.

This is a great new theme on an old concept of caring for pets then selling them once mature. You really do keep moving in this game, but not at a frantic pace. I found it enjoyable and bright.

This is your standard "ushering people through various stages and posts" sort of time management game. Actors come in, you get them a script, move them through makeup, costume, etc. However, what I really liked about this game was that once the actors were cast and set, you get a fun hidden object game through the "set".

This isn't any different from all the other "Collect Wood, food, gold" games out there. It was good. Good graphics, music was sometimes good and sometimes just tolerable. A few songs I have heard in other games. The narrator's voice was a little jarring and I turned off the sound during the storyline. Overall, I liked it - didn't love it. Would recommend for those who can't get enough of this type of time management, but I'm a little tired of the lack of new types of time management games.

I'm rather sick of those cookie cutter "collect stone, gold and wood" time management games but always try the new ones in hopes of finding something different. This game isn't very different, but where it kept my interest was in its graphics and theme. The gremlins are pretty cute and the shaman troll is so funny when he dances on the altars. So was it ground breaking in its variety? No, but I did enjoy it enough to buy it.
I refute that its too short - its has a standard amount of levels. If you're a perfectionist going for all gold and have a day job so you can't sit a solid 4-6 hours at one game, then you'll find its a good length.

This is your standard virtual villager type game with an odd super hero gone missing story line. How will an artifact save/find him? It's not really explained much and made me wonder why they bothered putting a story to this at all. The graphics and play style are a little clunky but not bad and sometimes the tutorial is lacking, but I got enough to figure it out on my own. The mini games (mine/fishing) were dull. I did come across a glitch about an hour in when I was asked to gather 200 food and I clicked the accept button to accept the quest and it did nothing. Just kept clicking and the game would not progress. I don't know if that was just me, but it pretty much shut the lid on the game for me. I do not recommend this game, but do not *not* recommend it either. It's just... there.

I love tower defense games, but this one only got 3 stars from me because it left a lot to the imagination. First off, there's really no toy theme to this game apart from the poor graphics at the beginning to show toys under threat. Somehow, I doubt a kid's bedroom is called Stalingrad and is covered in snow and bridges and bases. It's just a typical army themed tower defense game. There is very little to almost no instruction and it appears to have a lot of components. Being tower defense savy, I was able to figure it all out (to the person who said they couldn't purchase upgrades - that's because it's already highlighting the first upgrade you must purchase. The first tab has at least 2 upgrades to purchase before you can choose from the options to the right of the tab). Still, I wasn't too impressed. I kept wanting to zoom in to see the pieces better and learning the hard way what upgrades are good and what are really ineffective was just annoying. All in all, I'd rate it as an average game that I neither recommend nor not recommend.

you figure it out. lol The tutorial is practically non-existent. However, once you play around and figure it out, you'll find that if you like tower defense games, you'll love this one. It's very challenging. You don't know what paths your enemies will take and the waves are sometimes overlapping, giving you a real challenge.
It took me a little while to figure out what towers did what and that I could spend my gold in between levels to upgrade my spells and tower capabilities. If this game had a proper tutorial, it would have rocked it out of the park.
