I love each & every game in this series -so much so that I have even gone as far as buying for multiple devices. I ran out of patience waiting for them to all be sold on Big Fish, and I cheated a little, but if you have played the Delicious series, then you understand my inability to wait!!!
I really do think everything about this game & the others is simply perfect. And for the record, I hate most games on this site LOL.
I recommend this game!

I cant add much to what has already been said here about the awesomeness of all of the Delicious/Emily series games. I would recommend buying this game without even so much as a trial.
One can only imagine that the creators of this game & the rest of the series are avid TM game fans because they do *everything* right -from the storylines to the graphics to the lovable characters & game length, and simply everything.
I noticed that out of every single review written here, there are exactly4 people who disagree with the positive reviews. I find that very strange. . . Make of it what you will.
I recommend this game!

I hope to go the rest of my life without ever encountering a game such as this.
Despite having a title whose name makes me think of the actress from Rocky, Tales From The Shyre was definitely not a knockout.
I love Time Management/run a restaurant types of games & I gleefully snatch them all up for at least a free whirl. I have to say that I have only ever encountered one that I disliked until trying out Tales of the Shyre. This game is a wreck.
I trudged through 30 minutes of playing. Doing so took all that I had in me. I kept going because I wanted to see what lay past the 1st part. It appears that you probably run different types of businesses in various buildings, beginning with a restaurant. Restaurant from Hades, maybe. The controls and movements were clunky & awkward & unnecessarily difficult.
The customers would leave rather quickly - I would definitely say about 3 times faster than those in other games. The money earned vs. what is required for desperately needed upgrades was absolutely outrageous. What I mean is, many games will begin with for example, one oven & one table. You earn a bit of money to buy more & to upgrade speeds. Well... what I saw with this was that I'd play 7 or 8 levels & never have enough money /never have the option to upgrade anything.
AND I haven't even gotten to the bad parts of the game yet. Sigh.... I heartily dis-recommend this game with an enthusiastic 4 thumbs down.
I don't recommend this game.

The good thing about this game is that now, when asked what the worst TM/Builder game I've ever played might be, I shall have a ready reply.
Mall A Palooza is an apt name, being that it includes the word "looza". Really. I may sound like I'm kidding around, but I am not.
Call me overly-demanding but its just that I expect my games to not stink. Is that asking too much? If so, then I'll be sure to lower my standards. I feel bad for the creators of this game. I'm sure they wanted to do better. Its just that I'm annoyed that something of such low caliber was even allowed to make it past any quality control folks, if such job titles do exist.
I don't recommend this game.

Island Tribe 5 is a very frustrating experience. I just played for about 20 minutes and after closing the game, I felt compelled to come write this review because I noticed that my overall feeling right now is one of total frustration/aggravation.
I don't know about you, but that's not what I play games for!
There was no strategy involved in IT5 - if I were to teach my dog to click on the mouse each time he'd see the avatar reach home, my dog could win this game. And I don't even have a dog!!!
My point is, with the fact that I did not go more than 20 seconds at the very most without a building catching afire (in the past 10 or so levels) combined with the total lack of choice involved in what you can do in-game, this is going on the Regret pile along with a few other games.
I don't recommend this game.

These are some things that I noticed about Elven Legend:
1. There are bonuses to be used in each level, but when you mouse over or click on them, you cannot tell what they do/are
2. It claims to have achievements, but but buuuut...those are not actual achievements so much as occurrences that will eventually happen. For instance, if you play long enough, youre sure to end up collecting x amount of wood. Then collecting X higher amount of wood. And the same with each other resource. There's no challenge or strategy with that - its sort of like those jobs where people get paid to just show up.
3. Its not actually a Time Mgmt game - there's nothing to manage, simply clicking on resources and then running back to the building carrying them.
4. The graphics are awesome - I used to see games with similar styles of graphic, but then they'd only use that for the cut scenes or intro & I'd always be disappointed.
4. I don't know how on earth one reviewer described this as easy - it is HARD HARD HARD - I played on the middle difficulty setting. I think that was normal? Wasn't untimed (whats the point in that?? but wasn't the brutal difficulty)
5. I think that I'm reluctantly going to pass on this one. There was a time when I hungrily devoured every kingdom builder game, especially the ones with the fairy tale sorts of themes. But this game needed a bit more - maybe some mini-games or achievements...and because of what I listed in #1, #2 and #3 here, I guess I'll have to keep waiting.
I don't recommend this game.

I had just within the past month discovered the Delicious (or is it Emily?) series and I. am. hooked. I love this!! Where have these games been all my life?
THESE are what games are meant to be. Hours upon hours of content, characters that I would rate at 10 times more likeable & involved than any other game around here, and just fantastic playing altogether.
I laughed aloud on many occasion & I actually caught myself thinking about the characters in Emily's Wonder Wedding a few times while not playing.
I'm actually shocked at the high enjoyment factor of this one, and of the game where the couple marry, which I was enticed to find & play after trying this game. Rival TM game developers should be afraid because this is a high standard to equal.
I recommend this game!

I cannot recommend this game in any capacity other than for the fact that I like the idea of mixing TM with another genre.

It was all I could do to force myself through 35 minutes of a free hour demo.
As time trudged slowly by, I held onto hope that Knight Solitaire II would become less of a chore to play, or that at least the physical look of the game would somehow improve but my hopes never came to fruition.
I did like the layout of the level selection screen, though.... but that obviously is not enough on its own to warrant purchase. Big thumbs down, which is very odd to say about a card game. I mean, its a solitaire game! How could it even BE bad? But it was.
The developers would do VERY well to take a look at games by Hoyle & other popular companies & follow suit, pun intended.
I don't recommend this game.

The music was great - I kept it on the entire 29 minutes of the demo that I was able to stand.
The visuals on this game were kind of nice & pleasing to the eye.
But...sadly... I think its possible that the guys who made this might not really have understood how to create a solitaire game. If you try this for yourself you may see what I mean by that. Just the whole setup of the thing didn't work well.
The overall flow of the game didn't gel & I never knew what was going to happen after a round. Time to start looking for another game...
I don't recommend this game.
