..I finally finished this long game and enjoyed it quite a bit. Although I am not much on spaceship areas, it sure made this game highly original. It was mostly tasks to perform--more like an adventure game--but had good HOS and the map-thing was fantastic. You could just look at it, and it would tell you where you needed to go and then it would take you there if you clicked on it. Then when you got there, you still had the hint button if you were confused! (I get confused a lot). I think at times this game was extremely suspenseful and I actually almost got scared once, playing it, which is very rare for me. One very interesting game. and the only environments like it I have seen, Great cutscenes!
I recommend this game!

Decided to buy it before demo was over, and really glad I did. The game was long, fun, and the ending wrapped EVERYTHING up, for once. The hint button would lead you where you needed to go, and I loved that. I never had to use a walkthrough, although once I was tempted to, but the hint button helped so much. I did skip quite a few puzzles as some repeated, and I never knew how to solve the first one, so never did figure them out, but this was one fun game! Different locations, a great story, nice graphics and perfect HOS--not too hard nor easy.
You will definitely enjoy this one.

Long, and interesting, as is usual with Dark Parables, and I can never wait to get them. This CE has a good bonus game and good guide. The hint button tells you where to go, so that is good. My only complaint is that the hint button seemed to always go to the HO scenes that were active, and there were a bit too many successively, for my taste. :) I did not like this game quite as much as the others, but I had a terrific time playing it, the story was good, and was worth getting the CE.
It rated with me about 4.75.
I recommend this game!

This story is great, the CE is worth it especially on sale, as it has a great bonus chapter in some interesting areas not seen before. This game is for those that like fairly easy and long. Like me. The hint button is sweet, as it tells you what needs to be done next. I did use the included guide only 2 times, which is great for me. Not much in the way of voice overs, but great puzzles, most of which I could even do without skipping! I guess an expert would find this one a little tame, but those of us who like "the story" and exploration, will really enjoy it. HOGS are well done and clear and some are replacement-type which is always nice for a change...there is even a video game you play in one of the scenes. It is also divided into chapters, so no having to hang on to an item and a location that was forever-ago played with and in. I pretty much totally enjoyed this game, and never really stopped playing it the whole way through. Well done!.

I have never been into Luxor or any other marble popping games I have seen, but this one was SOOO fun that I keep looking and LOOKING to see if another one has come out. It is truly an adventure story with a plot as well as interesting and intriguing puzzles to pop. I sure wish they would come out with another..

I had never played these Flux games before and it took a LOT of getting used to. Luckily the hint button will help a lot, and I about wore mine out finally finishing the game. It is nothing like any other, and VERY long and intriguing. There are a lot of puzzles which sometimes are not explained well, and so different that my illogical mind just moved me to the skip button a lot. The story is very unique, graphics are absorbing, Just the right amount of HOGS.
No ghosts, just traveling through time and helping put machines together for the likes of Sir Isaac Newton and Einstein..I have never played anything like this, and am not certain if I really liked it, personally, but it was one wild ride, and never boring.
I recommend this game!

The game is pretty long and the story interesting and tied up nicely. It has different locations and NICE, an icon to help you travel to any location immediately, which almost eliminates the :back and forth" thing we hate, as there is a lot of it. The HOG's are fairly easy and use some interaction, which is fun. The puzzles range in difficulty, are mostly quite unique and can be quickly skipped, if you like. The hint button will tell you where to go next and I ended up using it almost all the time, which I did not like having to do, but it worked to progress me. The reason for this is that there are TONS of medallions that go on TONS of locks, and unless you have the memory of a savant, you will rarely remember which lock where, goes with what's in your inventory. Between the hint button and the jump-there map, it makes it easy--but then almost too easy.
Hard to explain, but one like me rarely ever knows what to do next without the (wonderful) hint button.
The length is great, the story rocks, and the graphics, VOs and scenes are excellent. I just could not rate it a 5.
I recommend this game!

This had beautiful items and very nice drawings and graphics. The story line, though a bit predictable, was very good, and still had a few surprises. The hidden object scenes were mostly putting together useful items, and the puzzles were different. They were a little repetitive but it gave a puzzle skipper like me a bit more time to try to figure them out. :) Many locations, and these were separated into chapters, which made the running around and remembering, much less taxing.
The only thing I disliked was the hint button. The only sort of hints it gave you (outside of a HO) was if you put an object on it it would show you where to use it. Cryptically, it would show you a small portion of the room and exactly the point of use, so you still had little idea what room to go to. I guess that is what the walkthroughs are for, and I had to use one a few times, especially near the end. I am impatient, however, and if I had gone back into bunches of locations I may have figured it out on my own.
Regardless, great game, very long, with lots to do. Most will like it. A good combination of dark and light in a fairly contemporary setting.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the game,. It had a decent story, I liked the British character, and her voice.but my gosh! The HOs were the most challenging of ANY other I have played! I do not think on even ONE I did not use the hint more than once (thank goodness it recharges super-fast) and this is not because they cheat by putting objects in the dark. These people are masters at hiding stuff, flat out. Sometimes the hint would come and I STILL did not see the object then BAM my focus shifted and there it was! The hint button gives decent hints although you do have to remember locations. A bit of back and forth but it goes fast as all loads quickly. It was an interesting story to some degree and well made. Altogether quite engrossing.
I recommend this game!

It had a lot of my favorite things in it: a hint button that would point you in the right direction and not recharge until it actually gave you a hint, a decent story, interesting puzzles (including driving boats and others I have never seen) HOs that were not too hard and had a bit of interaction and not too much back and forth stuff. I like to be able to progress easily and just relax. It even had decent music and was a good length. There were a few really cute and fun things in this game. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this unless it was not complicated enough for them, but it was great for me.
I recommend this game!
