I really enjoyed this game and give it a 4.5 for sure. A bit old style but it had good puzzles which were not too hard, great HOS with NO tiny objects, a hint button that led you where you needed to go, an interesting story with an unexpected twist, and a satisfactory ending. It had varied locations and good graphics. All told, it was a solid game altgether, and I think most will enjoy it.
The game was very good. The story was not really as gripping as the artwork and the puzzles (most too hard for me) were plentiful and different. Usually I like a story that is outstanding, but this one had other things that gripped me. There were HOS, but not so many you got sick of them, and some had a twist, like needing something from your inventory. It was not a bunch of "find this key, and that one", but had varied and interesting things to do. The game was pretty long, and the map let you jump to some places. It was a good length, the ending was satisfactory, and I had a lot of fun playing this one. It never seemed kind of dumb to me, and I thought the graphics were extremely well done. I did wonder what all the owls were about, but I am glad I did not get CE because I hate looking for those extraneous items. I am glad, at least, I came here and found out what they were. LOL. No way you can be disappointed or bored with this game. Plenty of interesting tasks and good hints to help you find them. 5 stars all the way, for me.
A late-night subway ride takes a bizarre turn into a mystical cemetery. You have been summoned by a strange entity to free the cemetery’s lost souls. Will you succeed, or is this the end of the line?
I guess the glitch with the bonus game is fixed, as it worked fine for me, and although I am now stuck on a demon with pincers, and there were a few times I had to punch the raven to make him act right, I think this could be one of the best one in this series. The graphics are really extraordinary, the puzzles are unique and plentiful tho most too hard for me, and the stories and scenery are terrific. There are a lot of perks in the CE and the bonus chapter is long, although the story does end ver nicely, and all tied up.Do not hesitate a moment to buy this one.
..SO much that I actually got a queasy stomach several times, and had to quit playing for awhile. However, if you can handle that (and handle it you must) this game is phenomenal. The graphics are REALLY cool, and you have the morphing things a lot as well as the different room illuminations. The HOS are some of the most unique I ever saw, and can hardly explain what a wondrous sight a few of them are. The story is wonderful, the ending is satisfying. I love long games like this, usually, but I was SO tired of the back and forth and back and forth that I took off a whole star in my rating, and was glad when finally finished. The hint button is super, it gives you a vision of where you need to go, and I used it a LOT. The puzzles are pretty hard. This game is visually superior to many and very unique.
Got this on special and was sure worth it. I could not stop playing until it was done. Engaging story. Quite a few HOS but they were relevant and well done. The music was only mildly annoying, as when got too repetitive it stopped. It did end rather abruptly although satisfyingly, and I had a great time playing this. The puzzles were mostly challenging and I did skip a few which made the game shorter, but not TOO short. I think most will have fun with this one.
It was a very interesting story and the graphics were extremely unique but fairly "old school", and I loved them. The music was great and not repetitive. The HOS were very well done. I did not get the first game as many said it was too short. I did not find this one to be so. It seemed a good length, the hint button was fairly good, and I only needed the walkthrough once for the moon puzzle, although the puzzles at the end were very difficult for me, the hint button finally solved the ones I could not. I did not think the game ended abruptly, but the story was completed fine. I guess the person who thought he ended up with a squirrel still in his inventory did not pay attention to the last scene. A different sort of game and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nice long game with a lot of locations. Some puzzles were easy and some hard. No real HOS unless you count looking for these little creatures in every scene, which is probably fun for some but a distraction, to me. Hint button points you where you need to go. Very enjoyable game, well worth the money.
I am not sure why I liked this game so much but I did. It makes you think a LOT and as you go along you get better at it. I needed the walkthrough a few times, and even a youtube video once for a slider (no skipping allowed) but the help was there, and there were even a few hints given after a time on some of the puzzles, automatically. I adored the guy's voice and always looked forward to him talking. No graphics to speak of, no cutscenes..just a really puzzleful game of good length and quite addicting. I truly think you need this game before going on to the second one which I am starting now as just finished this one. Surely, not everyone's cup of tea, but I truly enjoyed it, and I am one that usually does not like puzzles much at all.
and a lot of fun. Nothing was too difficult about this game but it was a real pleasure and very interesting, too. Not too long nor too short. Lots of things to do. Great help button. Terrific graphics and voices and, as mentioned, the story was great. There was even a map you could use to jump. The HOS were not difficult. This was just an enjoyable and fairly easy, non-frustrating in any way game. Even the music and sound effects were not aggravating in the least. Truly a gem.
I recommend this game!

Fated Haven: Chapter One
Stop an evil empire and save the land in Fated Haven: Chapter one, an incredible Adventure and Role Playing Game!
Enjoyed the story and our forum. Most of the puzzles were doable without help and there were several side quests, and just an overall great game that was not so complicated that I could not finish. Sure looking forward to Chapter Two!
