I really enjoyed this game. The graphics were especially beautiful. The game had a great length, and ended conclusively. The jump map made getting around easy, the hint button was completely helpful, and one could customize its timing. The story was pretty good (although not the "mermaid-type" I was expecting) but that did not stop me from giving this a 5. I got no glitches, saw no typos--just beauty, everywhere. Lots to do, not really hard, but some puzzles were challenging and I skipped them. You can set your own timing for that, too.
Excellent game, and some of the very best graphics that I have seen.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the game. The graphics were good, the puzzles were fun even though I had to skip some and the HOS were varied and not boring. The game was too short by my standards (only 3 "redemptions") but not horribly so. I truly enjoyed the story and the sense of urgency that it imparted. I liked being able to set custom options. I dislike sparkles, but like quick hints and skips, and it allowed me to do this :) The map allowed jumping, and the game was enjoyable. Not one of the best even this developer has offered, but worth playing.
I recommend this game!

I had a few minor problems with this game, but when I exited and restarted they resolved. I had a ton of fun playing this long game. It has a jump map (the active areas did not show for me, anymore, after a bit over half the game). The hint button worked great giving me valuable info. The puzzles skip, but you do not have to skip many, as the instructions are good, and they are mostly really fun to do. The game is not overly hard, the HOS scenes are different than just finding objects and hold one's interest. The story is terrific and gets you going at the end. The graphics are good and flashy. You can set up customizable options for quicker hints, etc. (always a plus, for me). Thoroughly enjoyed this one (glitches aside).
I recommend this game!

Not really hard, but had places where you had to think. Great story and the graphics were extravagant! Tons of fun, different types of hos and not too many. Great length and exciting ending. I never got bored with it and had a blast playing it. Map not needed, hint button informative. Nothing not to like, for me.
I recommend this game!

I just loved this game. The graphics were great, although funky, in places, and it kept my interest throughout. Some objects you had to find and pick up were tiny, and I have to say that the wonderful hint button was my constant companion, but it worked great so I was never frustrated. The story was good, the scenes were interesting, the game was long but never tedious, and and it had a solid ending. The music was terrific and not aggravating at all, The map lets one jump, there were no HOS, as such, and some very fun puzzles that one could skip if too hard. I found this game to be a lot like a movie and full of solid entertainment, It is NOT like a HOG much at all and is more like an adventure. Really, tons of fun if you like this sort of thing, and I sure DID!
I recommend this game!

There were lots of them, and almost all of them were too challenging for me. They were mostly unique, and interesting, but I was happy for a quick skip button. The game was long and lots of fun. There is a bonus chapter at the end, and then another room, too if u find enough symbols. The game ends definitively and the graphics are some of the best. The HOs are more interesting than most, and no tiny objects. The hint button drags you around nicely, if you need it, and this game just seems to have it ALL! Terrific fun for me.
I recommend this game!

Maybe not quite as good as the first one--a lot of monsters over and over, and I never did figure out what to do with the mansion, but I finished the game and it was fun. It was long, sometimes a bit frustrating but no insolvable puzzles/ I hate it when games like this have puzzles you have to be fast and dextrous in, cause then I can rarely finish. I had a lot of fun with this one and thought it was a good sequel. If you liked the first one, you will like this one, albeit not as much.
I recommend this game!

I had a LOT. It was long, extremely interesting, and many varied tasks. It was a bit complicated, and the graphics were an older style, but very charming and the characters were quite unique. The only bad part was that one could not use the map to teleport, which was a bit annoying, but it clearly showed where you needed to go, and the travel was not completely obnoxious like some games are. The HOS were well done and those scenes were also interesting. I found this game to be different than ones I have seen before. It took some thinking, but if you didn't feel like it, the skip button filled quickly. It all took place in a very strange land, which added to the intrigue, as it was highly original. It made me smile and I truly enjoyed it. It was never frustrating, as hints were clear and no walkthrough was needed. Try it.
I recommend this game!

It was a great story, and I guess, depending on how you play your character, the ending can be different. It keeps you engrossed, and playing. It is quite easy in casual mode because it has MORE help than just sparkles, but it made it fun and relaxing, for me. There are quite a few HOGs, and quite a few puzzles. The puzzles are mostly old-style, but still very challenging, for me, and I skipped over half. The HOGS are well done, a tiny bit dark, and some objects hard to find, but mostly quite easy. Hint works great. I liked being Dracula, and getting his powers. A very enjoyable game, although missing a "wow factor" that would have raised my rating to 5. It was never boring, there were a lot of locations and nothing was frustrating. It was also long--well over 5 hours, and all was ghoulish fun.

Others may find some fault with this game. They may not like making the potions. They may not like that it "fades to black" a few times. They may think it is too linear, or that the HOS are too easy. Well, I LOVED IT!
This is a perfect game for older players. The chapters are made so one can at LAST usually remember where that darn place to put the inventory item is. If not, the hint button shows you a picture and you can jump into the pic and you are THERE! It is wonderful. The HO's are good size. The cranes are fun to find, but I forgot towards the end. The end is slow and satisfying. The bonus chapter is super because the villian comes back to get revenge on the healer. This game is long and interesting. I could even actually do some of the puzzles! Many could find this game too easy. It is pretty easy and that is one reason I liked it. Everything flows so well in this game. Even the darned credits are worth reading--and they make a pause button so you CAN. This is one of my favorite games right now. I think I had to look one time at the strategy guide. The rest of the time I could just play and progress with no frustration. LOVED it!
