Everything about it is superb sights, sounds, music and voiceovers are just perfect. I didn’t even manage to finish the demo as I was too busy taking everything in, as I grew up in the Far East the memories this game has bought back keep making me smile.
Levels: Casual, Advanced, Insane and Custom.
Length: 7 Chapters plus the Bonus Game.
Map: It’s a jump map that shows you where you are and the active tasks.
Inventory: Lockable.
HOS: Varied and interactive, and very well done There’s a Mahjong game to play instead. Don’t forget to collect the morphs -17 to find, one in every scene.
Mini Games/Puzzles: All different types and they were excellent.
Extras: Art, Music, Mini Games and HOS to replay, Mahjong, a Souvenir Room and Golden Heart puzzles.
Achievements: 13
Collectibles: 42 Bamboo Strips.
An absolutely beautiful game, not to be missed.
I recommend this game!

Based on the demo and approx another hour of game play.
Levels: Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom - the hint and skip buttons can be reduced to 5 seconds or increased to 200 seconds.
Length: 8 Chapters plus the Bonus Game, after flicking through the Strategy Guide the bonus looks a decent length.
Map: It’s a jump map that shows you where you are but not the actions available, however a green tick appears when you have completed everything in that scene.
Inventory: Lockable.
HOS: Varied and interactive. There’s a Match 3 game instead if you want.
Mini Games/Puzzles: All different types, some relatively easier and others quite tricky.
Helper: A phoenix - it makes no sound, nor does it need you to dress him up or buy things for him. Another helper appears later in the game but I won’t spoil it for you.
Extras: Wallpapers, Concept Art, Screen Savers, Movies, Music, Mini Games and HOS to replay, Fortune Teller, Map Puzzle and a Match 3 game.
Achievements: 12
Collectibles: 12 Cards and 16 Chess Pieces although they don’t morph they blend into the background. When viewing your collected chess pieces click on them to find interesting facts about chess.
I enjoyed this game a lot and would like to play it all day long but can’t, so I will have to wait until the weekend. My final comment is beware of the snail!
I recommend this game!

They have never ceased to amaze me with every game they release.
Sight & Sounds: Excellent
Voices & Lip synch: Excellent
Music: Excellent
Sorry I am being repetitive now.
I just love these devs who go out of their way to make the game mechanics a little bit different to other devs, such a shame really that they are copied so much and have to “pull the hat out of it‘s bag yet again” just to be a little bit different.
I loved the game although I was surprised that someone who was so intent on killing me in the demo, me being “the bride to be“ and not knowing why!
Levels: Novice, Artist, Virtuoso, Maestro and Improviser, (i.e. Custom).
Length: 8 Chapter plus the Bonus Game.
Inventory: Lockable
Map: The usual type of map from these devs - more to follow in my ending comments.
HOS: Very good and clear, no junk piles. They were very good and they had added an extra twist to some of them.
Mini Games/Puzzles: From very easy to relatively easy to challenging. My “cup of tea” so to speak as I love puzzles/mini games.
Extras: Concept Art, Wallpapers, Sound Track, Case Files, Ticket Hunt, Treasure Hunt and Hidden Objects Puzzles to replay.
Achievements: 14 as far as I am aware of.
Morphing Objects: In HOS only (15) - I missed some of them!
Collectibles: Golden Tickets in every scene, there is a circle near the Hint button that shows if you have collected it by turning the ticket grey. Missed a lot of them too!
My only gripe is the MAP, according to my grandchildren this is AWESOME! Really, and I mean really! Given that I am in my late fifties, holding down my mouse (unless the kittens have eaten it) is not a good option especially if you have arthritic hands. I do not want to hold down the mouse and drag the mouse (if it’s still alive) through here, there and everywhere to find the Chinese Quarter, I would prefer to be just transported there. Devs, the Custom level should now include a transportable map rather than a floaty all over the place map - PLEASE.

We play as a reporter who is investigating the sighting of a ship that closely resembles one that disappeared years before. There is so much to do in this game including collectibles and morphing objects and a story that keeps you on your toes.
The music is great and quite stirring at times, and the voices are good with some lip synch.
Levels: Casual, Normal, Hard and Custom.
Length: 6 Chapters and the Bonus Game
Inventory: Lockable
Map: A jump map which shows active tasks. If you have found the morphing object and/or all the collectibles a yellow star appears indicating that you have collected everything in that scene.
HOS: Different types, lists, silhouettes, etc, and all are interactive. You have the option to play a puzzle instead.
Mini Games/Puzzles: They are varied and there are a lot of them, some can be completed within a few seconds and others take a bit more thought.
Helper: None.
Extras: Wallpapers, Concept Art, Screen Savers, Music, Collections and Achievements.
Achievements: There are 11 and can be accessed during the game by clicking on your Press Pass on the left hand side.
Beyond Objects: 34
Collections: There are 5 in total named Lady, Capitan, Musician, Postcards and Monsters - 5 items to collect in each category, which can also be accessed using your Press Pass
Points: We are given points for virtually everything we complete, I had 13,600 when the demo ended but I am not sure if they have any use in the game.
I recommend this game!

I promised myself I was only going to play two hours of the game today as I had a lot of other things to do, however I ended up by playing 4 hours of it, but what really surprised me was that I wasn’t even halfway through the game. These devs must have worked really hard on trying to give us something different.
Sights, sounds and music really well done and the voices were very good too.
Levels: Casual, Advanced, Expert and Custom. In custom mode you can reduced the Hint and Skip down to 10 seconds, but if you like to play in hard mode the Hint is 180 seconds and the Skip 320 seconds.
Length: 7 Chapters plus the Bonus, which looks to be a good length judging from the Strategy Guide.
Map: A jump map that shows you where you are and highlights active areas.
Inventory: Automatically locked.
HOS: Not that many of them and apart from a List one, the others were different.
Mini Games/Puzzles: Really good and not too hard to solve, I loved them all except for one which I found tedious.
Helper: None. However there were a few times when you released an animal who disappeared immediately but then returned later in the game, very briefly to give you something you needed.
Achievements: 20
Collectibles: 28 Ravens, after you collect the first one a pop up box appears saying “Collect the Ravens to Unlock Special Bonus Scenes”. This might be the reason that it took me so long to get to the end of Chapter 3 as I have so far found every raven.
Extras: Mini Games, Screen Savers, Concept Art, HOS, Wallpapers and Movies.
I recommend this game!

I have the previous games in the series so was looking forward to this one. I played the Beta about 2/3 months ago and loved it even though the game play was a bit slow to start with.
It is a very colourful game, the music is ok but at one point it became so annoying whilst I was playing either a HOP or a mini game I turned it down for about 15 minutes.
Levels: Casual, Advanced and Expert.
Length: 6 chapters and the Bonus Game.
Voices: Some are good and clear but others not so much.
Inventory: Lockable
Map: You have to find it, it’s a jump map which shows where you are and if there are any active tasks in that area.
Achievements: 28. There is a room for these which includes the collectibles too, and it can be accessed at the top right hand side of the screen.
Collectibles: 30 skulls wearing jester hats! Although none of these resemble the animal they are portraying Eagles, Jaguars and Crocodiles.
HOS: The first one had only 4 items to collect which surprised me but as they are interactive there are several things to do before you can retrieve it. Then came a few which were lists with some interactive element, and after that quite a few of them were of no help at all as the game said “interact with the objects in the scene” . Oh well it keeps the brain cells working. Mahjong can be played instead.
Mini Games/Puzzles: Some I’ve not seen before and others variations of game I have seen before. I enjoyed them and they ranged from easy up to hard, but all do-able.
Helper - Nubi he is not obtrusive as he doesn’t make a single noise, nor does he want you to buy anything for him, but he does get given certain powers during the game which help you carry out the tasks. Just make sure you take a look at his expression when he first appears, it made me laugh out loud!
I recommend this game!

The reason for the title is that although I have demoed all the other Puppet Show games I have never purchased one until today as I was really hooked on it. It gave me the creeps and goose bumps!
We play as a reporter who is trying to find out what has happened to her friend, also a reporter, who has gone missing. Right at the beginning of the game we get to choose if we want to play as a male or female, and we get a choice of appearance from a selection of three pictures - nice touch devs.
Levels: Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom.
Length: 6 chapters plus the Bonus Game.
Map: It’s a jump map that clearly shows active areas. You have to find the map (two pieces only) very near the beginning of the game.
Inventory: Lockable.
HOS: They started with Put the Items back in the Scene, then Collect Items that Relate to each other and then Lists which are interactive.
Mini Games/Puzzles: I have not seen some of these before, they are varied and beautifully done and not too hard to complete so far.
Helper: A Puppet of course, who gets into small spaces or dark places to collect something for you.
Achievements: 15
Collectibles: Tokens dotted around in each scene and I believe there are 75 to collect.
Dolls House: 12 to collect throughout the game and we get the chance to improve them, probably using the tokens mentioned above.
Extras: Wallpapers, Concept Art, Screen Savers, Movies and Music. Also included are re-playable HOS and Mini Games.
I recommend this game!

I played the Beta of this game and it took me over 2 hours to complete and I felt lost when the demo ended as I just wanted to carry on playing.
The game starts with a dramatic opening scene, not fire and brimstone, it’s a black/purpley/pink infection that lands on the earth. This is a very colourful game, great music, voiceovers and good lip synch.
Length: 5 Chapters and the Bonus Game.
Levels: Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom.
Options: When I opened the game it did not appear as full screen, I had to click on Full Screen in the options menu.
Map: It’s a jump map that clearly shows active areas.
Inventory: Lockable.
Journal: Highlights what you have recently completed and records info you might need, i.e. a 4 digit code to open something.
HOPS: They started with Find & Use and then went on to a List, all very interactive.
Mini Games/Puzzles: Very varied and beautifully done, and not too hard to complete.
Helper: An unobtrusive Siamese Cat who fetches things that are out of reach and when needed she attacks!
Achievements: There are 20 of them, some quite different, i.e. Ice Cream and Uninvited Guest.
Extras: Wallpapers, Concept Art, Music, Cut Scenes and Making Of.
Collectibles: 48 evil faces and some are quite difficult to find as they are usually hiding in dark places. There is a small purple button on the right side of the inventory that indicates whether you have found the evil face or not by turning purple.
An Additional Extra: Unlock at least one Evil Face in the game or finish the Bonus to unlock the Evil Hunt mode.
I recommend this game!

I really do like this game and can’t wait to get back to it, so I’ll leave you with my usual list of the mechanics and features.
Levels: P.I., Detective, Inspector and Custom which has a lot of options.
Length of Game: 5 Chapters plus the Bonus game.
Voices: Very good voiceovers, lip synch and accents.
Music: Dramatic in all the right places.
Inventory: Lockable
Map: It’s a jump map and clearly shows where you are using a little blue flag, Active Objectives with a green exclamation mark and a red cog shows the Active Tasks.
HOPS: The usual from these devs, lists, silhouettes, pictures and interactive. You can play a Bubble Popper instead if you want to.
Puzzles/Mini Games: So far they have been variations of ones we’ve seen before and relatively simple to complete. However I am now completely stuck on one so I might ask for help in the forums.
Achievements: 15 of them
Collectibles: 8 Masks and 42 Tarocchi Cards.
Morphs: 15 of them and they are all in the HOPS.
Extras: Movies, Music, Wallpapers and Making Of. HOPS and Puzzles to replay, and a Souvenir Room.

What a brave little boy to take on the Shadows that appear from the mist, he is definitely a hero! There is so much to do here, there and everywhere I‘m spinning.
4 levels: Beginner, Advanced, Expert and Hard.
Inventory: Lockable.
Hint: Very helpful and charges quickly on the Beginner level.
Map: It is a jump map. An exclamation mark flashes a few times when you open it showing areas with tasks to perform.
Diary: The boy writes it very well and it‘s amusing at times, and you can replay some of the cut scenes. I find that after taking a break it is helpful to read it to remind me of what I had done earlier.
Voices: None at all, but decent sized boxes pop up and the typeface is very clear.
Music: Excellent.
Graphics: Very well drawn and so appropriate to the game.
HOPS: Lists and some interaction in each one I have played, also rather challenging for my old eyes.
Mini Games/Puzzles: A wide variety, some are easy and some aren’t, it’s not like me but I have already skipped one as it was driving me nuts.
Helper: (I think I can hear groans coming from some players!) His name is Reed, he is relatively unobtrusive, he’s sort of a cross between an elf and a fairy but prior to using him you have to find a “bit of magic”. I played the demo and then about another half hour and so far he’s only been used 3 times.
Enjoy the creepiness!
I recommend this game!
