except for a major problem. The pieces were surprisingly difficult to pick up and move. THAT took away from the joy of putting a gorgeous puzzle together.
Graphics:
Beautiful. The pictures were absolutely beautiful. Not life-like, but very nice. Animals cute, scenery nice, just not much to say.
Sound:
Had to turn volume off due to puppy sleeping on my arm.
Game Play:
Here is where I began to love this game and then came to dislike it so much. You choose a picture from 36 pages in each of I believe 7 boxes. That's a LOT of pictures. But there's no rhyme or reason to how they are categorized - they're not. Animals with floral scenes with architecture. Would have made more sense to categorize them. Or, maybe it was done no purpose, to better keep our senses in a state of awe. Who knows. Anyway, you can modify the shape of the pieces and increase or decrease the number as you wish. Once a picture is chosen, you can choose a background color, although the actual color is way off than the chosen color. Shame. Then, you can choose to sort the pieces by just having the border pieces showing then the rest of the pieces will come up. You have an image or ghost of the picture if you need to refer to it. There's a lot of leeway with what you can do.
Unfortunately, as wonderful as this game appears to be, and regardless of the cute pictures I saw that would keep me busy for a long time, the fact that I had an extremely difficult time picking up the puzzle pieces, moving them to any location, and connecting pieces together will keep me from purchasing this game. It's unfortunate because I really liked it until I started playing it.
Just because this Glam-ma isn't interested doesn't mean you shouldn't try it. It's an hour long (I stopped way before that out of frustration) and it's free to try.
Happy Gaming!
I recommend this game!

I got slaughtered in the first 10 minutes. The HD - 3D effects of this game are so amazing, so stunning, that I was captivated by it all and kept losing my "lives". LOL. But it was so worth it!
Graphics:
WOW! HD - 3D. Colors so bright and fantastic. Everything spot on. Skeletons wobbly, shark fin swimming in the deep blue sea, purple sea monsters and a frigate pirate ship. Even down to the stripes on the crews' shirts were plain to see.
Sound:
I did expect the music to assimilate to the scene - for example, pirate level - piratey music, etc. That disappointed me. It was loud even though I turned it down in "options". I have an 8-week old puppy who I rescued at 6 weeks of age and she was sleeping on my arm so I turned the volume nearly off. The sound effects were GREAT! Love, love, love and love.
Game Play:
What can I say? This is not a ball or brick breaking game. It's way beyond more than that. There are HD - 3D scenes - whole scenes - packed full of LIFE and energy and you have to destroy everything in the scene - grass, sharks, krakens. And the bonuses! There's even one that turns the scene into night! And they come floating down as blue extend the bats or a cannon or a helicopter or a box marked with a ? carried by helium balloons that's a surprise bonus. And no medals to end the level - what looks like a medal is now a point bonus and a huge shining yellow star ends the level, even if part of the scene is still standing.
Glam-ma says this game is an IMMEDIATE buy for me. After I got slaughtered because I was enjoying and totally mesmerized by the scene on my screen more than the game play - lol - I quit the game and gave my review. THAT'S how excited I am and it takes a LOT to get me this excited about a game.
As usual, I encourage everyone to try this game. The demo is a very quick hour long and it's free to try. I just know you will be hooked.
Happy Gaming to All!

This game is the best, freshest, most innovative "brick" breaking game out there.
Graphics:
Amazing! HD - 3D. A parrot in a cage and you can see it in HD - 3D amazing color. Extremely bright colors. You can see the food, the salt stick, the water container, the detail of the parrot. Whether it's little green aliens, geese flying in the air, a parrot in a cage or a tulip in a garden complete with mulch and grass, the graphics are the absolute BEST there are in this type of game.
Sound:
Also amazing. The background music is not annoying. The sound effects are extremely realistic, from the geese cawing in the air to bombs going off - it just doesn't get better than this.
Game Play:
What can I say? You don't break bricks. LOL No, you break everything you see! Tulips in a garden, aliens and a spaceship, even the geese in the air need to be brought down to where you can destroy them. Bonuses, most of which are great for your game play, come in the form of a helicopter, a cannon, a box with a ? mark being floated down by a group of helium filled balloons and much, much more. And the game isn't necessarily over when the last "brick" is broken. It's when the gold medal comes down. As you level up, of course, the game becomes harder.
I've owned this game since at least 2007 and enjoyed it every time I go back to it. The graphics alone are amazing. I could just sit there and look at it for a while before starting the level and setting my ball loose.
I encourage EVERYONE to try this game. It's new - it's different - and it's better by leaps and bounds than anything else out there. The demo is a fast one hour long and free. Who knows, you may just get as hooked as I am by this game.
Happy Gaming to All!

If you like designing your home or are constantly rearranging furniture, etc. this game is definitely for you.
Storyline:
Not much of one. You decide what type of designer you want to be ranging from apprentice (me) to guru (needs absolutely no guidance whatsoever). Earn money to decorate your own home.
Graphics:
Really good. Colors can be somewhat muted so it's difficult to tell orange from brown. Like that. Otherwise, pretty good.
Sound:
Music wasn't annoying although I did keep it turned down.
Game Play:
This is a game of strategy as well as time management. Because you have to strategically pick and choose proper items for your clients, who only give you clues as to their particular tastes. If you want help figuring it out, it will cost you. Also, you only have "x" number of days to finish the assignment. Send the workers to build something the same color as they are for quick finishing. Send them to something not their color and they run out of energy (need coffee) and you run behind. As you level up, there are more items to choose from, but also your team members will require tools. I found it extremely difficult to get them to accept the tools, thus making me fall behind - way behind.
This Glam-ma really enjoyed this game. The only drawback for me was the colors were sometimes unpredictable (brown or orange?). Also, getting the team members to accept the tools was a challenge. Otherwise, I might put it on my wish list - still thinking about it.
I encourage everyone to try this game. The demo is only an hour long (and you can quick any time you want) and it's free. Who knows, there might be a hidden designer lurking inside you waiting to burst right out!

I only played for 20 minutes. Roughly 2 puzzles.
Graphics:
Awful. Every picture, except the one shown on the video on the game description page is dark. So dark that you can't possibly put it together. In fact, the puzzles consisted of nothing more than dark skies, dark ground, black scenery and branches - not even trees but branches.
Sound:
The background music was very Renascence. That was nice. And probably would have been relaxing if not for the taxing difficulty of putting the puzzles together.
Game Play:
There are 12 levels. You have to put together at least one puzzle in the unlocked level to move to the next unlocked level. Otherwise, all the levels are locked. Unfortunately, the puzzles are all branches, twigs, black and night sky.
There are 3 modes of difficulty ranging from normal to hard to extremist. I played on normal and the puzzles were impossible. Each puzzle has 2 bonuses you can use. 1x means it will put together one full line of the puzzle for you. 8x means the bonus can put 8 singular pieces in 8 individual places for you. You don't have to use all 8 at one time.
This Glam-ma found this puzzle game way too dark, dreary and ungorgeous, not even very pretty pictures. I will not be purchasing it. I recommend you do what I did. Play all the puzzle games you can find on BF until you find the one that suits you. That's what I did and found the perfect puzzle game for me.
I will encourage everyone to play this demo. It's an hour long and it's free. Who knows, if you like dark and dreary landscapes (I think that's what they were), this game could be the one you're looking for.
Happy Gaming to All!

If you are looking for a game that has all your favorite puzzles in one place - you found it in this game.
Graphics:
Wow! First, you get to draw your profile picture, or name, as you choose. It is not easy - lol. Then, you can choose to create your own handwritten alphabet or numbers and symbols by writing a specific number, symbol or letter 5 times - this is impossible. As far as graphics in the game - amazing. Bright, colorful, cartoony and fun. The graphics are a huge part of feeling good while playing this game.
Sound:
Sorry - don't know. I have a now 8-week old puppy who i rescued at 6 weeks old and she's sleeping against my back - lol - so I had to turn the volume off. Of course, now my back hurts!
Game Play:
Fun, Fun and more Fun. All my favorite puzzles in one place. Crosswords, Fill-it-ins, Hangman, Link-a-Pix (couldn't figure that one out) and more. Choose a level (there are 560 - no kidding!). Click on it and the games begin. After you play 3 games (of the computer's choice), and win, you get to pick a "present" that awards you with hint coins (very handy), a puzzler letter (collect 7 for a special prize) and I can't remember the 3rd - sorry. When you are finished that level, it will blink, to move on to the next level, choose the one past the blinking number.
I found this game to be thought-provoking, fun and yes, even relaxing. Definitely addictive. I know I said this a hundred times - but ALL your favorite games are now in one place! And there are 560 levels! I checked. This Glam-ma is on the fence about purchasing this game ONLY because there are several others in my top 5 and money only goes so far. Perhaps on my wish list.
I do, however, encourage everyone to try this game. The demo is free and it's only an hour of your time. If you like puzzles, you will love this game. This might be a trifle hard for beginners or those who don't play puzzles but try it anyway.
Happy Gaming to All!

Wow. I don't even know how to explain this game. But, here goes.
Storyline:
Very disappointed. After reading the game description, I expected there to be a storyline in the Adventure mode. Not. You just play a timed game.
Graphics:
Good. Nothing extraordinary. You can one color from the next. That's about it. Nothing really in background, etc. Just the blocks you have to get rid of.
Sound:
Background music wasn't too bad. Drums, etc. Reminded me of DisneyLand.
Game Play:
This is actually a MATCH 5 game. You have to match 5 blocks of the same color to destroy them. Colored blocks surround a brown ugly creature face. Your goal is to destroy the colored blocks surrounding this gruesome face then use a block of ANY color to destroy it. Sound easy? It is until you start to level up, then you have to start strategizing.
There are 3 modes of play - Adventure (not storyline) is timed, Classic is also timed and Relaxed is untimed. I played Adventure for a while and then became annoyed that there was no storyline. Then, I went on to Relaxed. Loved it. Even though you need to really be strategic on some levels, it is a very relaxing and fun game.
This Glam-ma is on the fence re purchasing this game - regardless of how addictive I found it. Only because there are several other games on my top 5 wish list and money only goes so far (lol). However, I do encourage everyone to try this game. The demo is free and it's only an hour of your time. A very fast hour. I definitely got my "wow" factor at the end of the demo.

After playing the first game of Enlightenus, I was so confused I wasn't sure I wanted to tackle this one. But, being optimistic as I am, try it I did and am very glad of it.
Storyline:
Clarence Flatt, a well-know clockmaker has asked that you visit him in the hospital. There he tells you about the Ageless Clock he has been working on. Unfortunately, while working on a mechanism, things went awry and clock pieces are everywhere in the tower. You must go throughout the tower and find all the necessary pieces to complete the Ageless Clock. Are you up to the task? You meet his hologram in the first instances of the game, get instructions and are promised the story of a lifetime. Off you go.
Graphics:
Although still on the dark and dreary side, the graphics have improved with more color and less monochromatic color schemes. However, items in HOGs are still impossibly tiny.
Sound:
Background music soft and relaxing. No side effects to speak of.
Game Play:
In order to find the pieces of the Ageless Clock you must go through the tower and enter different time periods, play an HOG, get a button and move on to a mini game now and then. Period - that's all you do.
HOGs:
Not your run-of-the-mill HOGs. As in the first Enlightenus story, you have to put items BACK into the picture. However, as in the first game, someone has a sense of humor because some of the items are slightly off-track, like a musical squirrel. You may also have to use several items before you complete something - for instance, give the comb to the Princess with the frazzled long hair, then give her scissors to cut her hair. You've now disposed of 2 items.
Mini Games:
Not many that I came across. All needed thought behind it. Explanations and instructions thought sometimes vague were better than the first game, which gave no instructions at all. You could skip the game but it would cost you several of the dear "E" cards.
I finally found out what the "E" cards are for. They don't represent a "number" of hints you receive, but rather, if you click on an "E" card in your possession (by the hint button), it will cause the hint to recharge much more quickly. A good use since normally the hint button takes several minute - long minutes - to recharge. There are 2 E cards in every HOG. Impossible to find. I only got mine by happenstance.
This Glam-ma was actually intrigued by this game. Much more so than the original. And, if not for the horrible lag time between EVERYTHING you do, I would purchase it in a New York minute - lol. Who knows, maybe sometime in the future, I'll have a hankering to revisit this game.
I encourage everyone, especially those who liked the original game, to try the demo. It's only an hour - a very quick hour - and it is free. I think you will enjoy this version of the game much more than the previous one.
Happy Gaming to All!

CE Bling:
Usual stuff - concept art, wallpapers, music, and a full, complete story that I understand takes several hours in itself to play. The Strategy Guide in the demo did not work, unless the lag time was so bad when I clicked on it, it just took forever and a day to show anything.
This Glam-ma was actually intrigued by this game. Much more so than the original. And, if not for the horrible lag time between EVERYTHING you do, I would purchase it in a New York minute - lol. I read all the reviews that said this was a fantastic game ... an easy game ..... HOGs and mini games and not much more. I found it extremely difficult. I'm sure I am in the minority here.
Storyline:
A renowned author has asked your help in restoring his books. he invented a machine that takes him to all sorts of times and places and that's what he uses to write his books. Unfortunately, something went horribly wrong and all the pages of his books are scattered. Not only that, but the stories are not in the correct books! Find the pages and put the stories in their correct order. That's what I got out of the opening scene.
Graphics:
Seemed very old. Everything is dark and dreary.
Sound:
The background music was fine - not annoying at all. Really, nothing regarding sound effects.
Game Play:
Here's where I became completely lost. According to the opening scene, I needed to help the author find his book pages, then resort the chapters in their correct books. However, nothing in the game play was even remotely book related nor page related. I went from room to room, after being transported .... somewhere .... than the machine broke. In each room, I played and HOG, received items, went to find the place to play the mini game and move on. I just didn't get it.
HOGs:
Not your run-of-the-mill HOG. Instead of looking for an itemized list of objects, you had objects you had to place in their proper location. Some quite unique. For example, put the heavy stone in the basket, which lowers to show a carrot hanging from a tree. Put the bunny on the hanging carrot - now you have placed 3 items and have a hanging bunny. Ok, someone has a sense of humor. The HOGs were very dark and muddled with dozens upon dozens of objects. I found it somewhat difficult to do - definitely took brainwork and patience and time (not enough in the demo to finish many of these).
Mini Games:
You receive buttons upon completing the HOGs and have to find out where to put them - correctly. Then, the mini games - no instructions whatsoever. You seriously had to figure out what to do and how to do it. If you choose to skip the puzzle you lose all your "E" cards. Don't the know the purpose of those either. Someone said they were hints but that's not true because when I used a hint I didn't lose an "E" card at all. Hmmmm - another mystery.
This game just had no direction at all. While I thoroughly enjoyed the HOGs and figuring out and completing the mini games, this game left me entired confused. Neither the HOGs nor the mini games seemed to have anything to do with the storyline. For this reason, this Glam-ma will not be purchasing this game.
I do, however, encourage everyone to try this game. The demo is a free hour of play and you just might be able to figure out what I couldn't. LOL
