I've played this game at least a half a dozen times in the years since it was first released and it still stands the test of time!
This was one of the first really cool HO horror games I remember playing and sharing with my children. You follow the story of a man with special powers and his wife's journey to save him. He has a really wild past with some surprises along the way!
The graphics are a bit old school but still VERY eerie even by today's standards. Some of the objects were a big tough to see, but there's always the hint button for when you need it.
There is a map, but it only shows you where you need to go, you'll have to go there manually. This game also has a diary, which I miss, because many of the newer games have given them up and for those of us with shoddy memories, the diaries always helped keep me up on what the story was about.
This is also the first game I recall seeing "beyond objects", the objects that change back and forth between two separate things. There are 36 in this game and I don't think I've once ever found them all. It's kind of tricky because some rooms change and you have to find the objects before the room changes or there's no way of going back. Some of them are also VERY tough to see. If you're desperate to get them all, Big Fish has a walk-through with illustrations.
I recommend this game!

Even though this game is 8 years old, I'm so glad I found it!
I love games where you move through mirrors and in this game you use mirrors to move from room to room in a creepy house, not only collecting what you need to get out, but helping lost souls along the way.
The graphics were a bit old school, but still very lovely. None of the puzzles were too difficult and I really enjoyed them. There's a surprise ending and now I'm really looking forward to playing the next installment of this game!
I recommend this game!

Like many people, I have tried out and enjoyed Midnight Castle, so I wanted to see if it was a series worth playing...and it definitely is!
Anabel was apparently a part of some magical world that she was taken from years ago and we get to watch her journey back to save her father. This game is full of beautiful graphics and music and lots of fun mini-games (that you are free to skip if you so choose). The settings are customizable, of course, but none of the games were very difficult. There were SO many things to find on this game! My only complaint is that I wish it had lasted longer.
I recommend this game!

This game is several years old, but it's still one I keep coming back to!
This is essentially a block-blasting game. You have to pull all the elements (earth, wind, fire & water) back together to save the world. It's sort of a maze, for every block you bust, a liquid surges through the maze until you get to the end. There were also a few HO scenes thrown in there.
Most of it is very easy, although there were a couple of toughies toward the end. The only fly in the ointment is the timer, but most of the older games have those. Still, this is definitely a game you'll want to play again & again!
I recommend this game!

I played the original Road Trip game and really enjoyed it, so I thought I would give this free game a shot. I made it to about level 10 before I lost interest.
This is a game that requires patience because you have limited energy and you have to play the same scenes over and over until you have the materials to move on.
It's a fun game if you like renovation and only like to play for a few minutes a day. I think, given that it's free, that people should at least give it a chance. Sometime in the future I'll probably pick it up again and continue.
I recommend this game!

I love games that allow me to decorate.
This is an older HOG, with simple graphics, but I really enjoyed it. There were also a few puzzles thrown in. The best part to me was earning the money to upgrade my antique shop. I kept playing even after the story was over (which you can do from the map) so I could put the finishing touches on my shop. Thankfully, you can play timed or untimed.
Also, I enjoyed that my city, Charlotte, was on the map but laughed because they put us near the coast (which we are hours away from, LOL).
I recommend this game!

If you played the first Clutter game, you will immediately realize that there's not much difference to the games in this new one. They've added a new character and the advice was about life lessons instead of clutter.
Honestly, I enjoy the bits of advice they give on these games because it's positive and uplifting and you don't see that much anymore. The game play, though similar, was still lots of fun. If you struggle with the games, they let you skip them after the 3rd try.
I will definitely keep playing this series...the fun is in its simplicity.
I recommend this game!

I know this game is several years old but of all the dozens of match-3 games I've played over the years, this one is still my favorite!
This story line is a simple one about Aztec gods, but it's not super important to the game. The game is fun because you have to hit on several letters, which presents a challenge, and as the game goes on, the cool effects of the game become harder and harder.
There are 150 levels, all of them fun, but if you find one you just can't beat and want to skip, you can accumulate lives in order to skip them. I had about 8 extra lives by the end of the game and felt no need to use them.
The only fly in the ointment is the timer. If you feel like you're going to run out of time (which will take a life), then exit back to the menu and reload so the timer starts all over.
This is a game I KNOW I'll be playing for life...I love it THAT much!
I recommend this game!

Another member has been added to this increasingly large family and he's causing trouble! I'm not 100% clear on the story because unfortunately, hidden object games no longer seem to come with diaries (I miss that).
I like the new skull daddy with a less-annoying voice, but his presence seems to be less and less warranted. I would like to see Aunt Gray go on some adventures of her own without having to constantly save her relatives.
This game was shorter than I prefer, but honestly, the graphics on these games are so breathtaking I barely care if the game play is up to snuff.
I recommend this game!

I just love games where you can transport to different worlds...and this has many of them! It had a great map where you could move throughout the different worlds, lovely music, skips and hints, etc. The beauty is in its simplicity.
