The is the second of the Twilight Phenomena series. They're both 5 star games for me but I have to say the first one was a little better. Both have good graphics, good puzzles, good voice overs, and good music. The second has HOS's, which I'm not crazy about, but I wasn't bombarded with them. This won't be 5 star for some, but I'm basing this rating on how much fun I had with it. I think most will really enjoy this game. I played on hard core mode and never used a hint, but I'm extremely patient and I like to find the solutions myself. I was stuck for a while a couple of times. Just the amount of challenge I like.
I recommend this game!
An evil villain is luring people to his beautiful mansion and preparing them for a terrible ritual. Can you keep your head on the shoulders?

Not only are the graphics fantastic, but there's an array of puzzles that may not be that difficult but they sure are fun. And no HOS's! A big plus is the music. I even turned it up! I only remember doing that once or twice before. Music can really make a game for me. If I can enjoy it while I play along it adds so much more. Kudos, ERS, for choosing a great score to go with the fun! I do believe ERS is now in a tie with Mad Head for my favorite developer. In fact, I'm going to purchase the other Twilight Phenomena game right now. Hope it's as good as this one!

...the strategy guide was not much help. It needs to contain information about the collectibles. Lots of frustrated players like me out there who didn't have enough information to complete all the extras in the bonus section. Other than that, this is "game of the year" for me. Superior graphics, sounds, voiceovers, wonderful music, different variations for the HOS's, and just a spectacular game. I've never played one like it. The voiceovers appear to be real actors. Every one of them was perfect in every way. Just outstanding. Could have listened to the music all day (and actually did, because I couldn't quit playing). Everything about this game is over the top. I sure hope Mad Head has another one in the works!

Really had fun with this. The challenge factor was just right. I had to skip one mini game. Anytime I have to skip a mini game I consider the game as a whole a winner. Graphics, sound, voice overs were all excellent. I don't place a lot of importance in the story, as they're all pretty much the same. Having said this, the story was a little disjointed, as it jumped all over the place. Still a very good game. Just not 5 star quality for me. I've raised the bar quite high after playing more than a hundred games. You'll like this one, and it may be a 5 star game for you.

Rambling story that hardly makes sense. Voiceovers are worst ever. Hint system is practically useless. Couldn't wait for it to be over. Can't for the life of me figure out how this got 5 stars from some reviewers. To each his own I guess.
I don't recommend this game.

There were sparkles in expert mode, even though the instructions said there wouldn't be. Sometimes you had to click & click to get the game to respond. A few too many HOS's for me. Puzzles were okay; in fact some were quite a challenge (gear puzzle) and I had to use the walkthrough for hints. Not a terrible game, but not a great one either.
I recommend this game!

Great game! The sound effects are awesome. You really feel like you're in front of a crackling fire or a waterfall. Very well done! Graphics are spectacular, puzzles are fun, HOS's vary in what you need to find, music fits the game perfectly. The challenge factor was almost up to par with my favorite games, so this definitely deserves 5 stars. Try it!

This game got better & better as I played. Loved the graphics and music. The challenge became tougher as I played on, something I haven't experienced before, that I can recall. I like that; it's a fun twist when you play a game that gets more difficult as you go. And why not? We usually have three or more levels of difficulty that we're able to change in the middle of the game if we so desire. Not a 5 star game for me because it still gave too much help in hard core mode. I want a challenge!

I had fun with this one but it could have been more of a challenge. I played in hard core mode and still never got stuck or needed hints. That, and the fact that it wasn't a very long game made me decide on a 4 star rating. Music was ok, puzzles were fairly easy, graphics pretty good, just the right amount of HOS's. The story line was just ok, but I never get into the story too much. I just enjoy the challenge, which this game could have done a better job of. Not really a bad game but I've played many better.
I recommend this game!

Enjoyed this one. Not quite as much of a challenge as I like (even on expert mode) but still fun. Music wasn't annoying, puzzles were fairly good, nice graphics, okay length but wish it had been a little longer. I think most people would have fun with this. Several HOS's, but not an over abundance. Could have used a few more puzzles.
