I believe this is the second of the Werewolf Mysteries games by ERS. The graphics are atmospheric and done very well, much better than ERS' Edgar Allan Poe games. Decent music too. Definitely one of the better looking ERS games. Decent story.
My only complaints are that the voice acting of the gypsy woman is awful and I thought there was too much HOS scenes. Its almost like the game was too short so they just added a bunch of HOS's as filler to make the game seem longer.
Another Myths of the World game by Eipix. Cool and unique setting as you hunt vampires in New Orleans. The graphics are nice . I personally prefer if you fight the vampires alone rather than have a partner, who seems to do nothing but order you around while you do all the work.
I could be mistaken but I think this is the first of the Haunted Hotel series by Elephant games, not to be confused with the other Haunted Hotel series by Specialbit.
Like many other Elephant games, graphics are top notch but story is juvenile. Inspired by Sherlock Holmes but with a supernatural theme. The player controlled character is like a Watson to James' Holmes and as usual, James orders you around and you do all the work.
Inspired by the story by HP Lovecraft, although not a literal adaptation. This game is the 4th in SpecialBit's Haunted Hotel series. Not to be confused with the more well known Haunted Hotel series by Elephant games.
This is a great game considering the small size of the studio. I can't believe this game didn't get better reviews. Nice creepy graphics, moody music and decent story and cutscenes. Some might find the game slightly frightening but it invokes the spirit of Lovecraft very well.
The bonus chapter can be quite tedious though. Also the extras are a bit lacking, no wallpaper or screensavers so you might want to buy the standard edition first.
Overall a very good and underrated game from a small studio.
Great effort by ERS. Graphics are superb (for ERS standards), music was okay, story was good, fun and fast gameplay, nice extras. Overall great effort. This is the first Shadow Wolf Mystery game that I have played. I'm looking forward to playing the previous installments in the series but I won't expect those titles to be as good as this one.
The story is good. The graphics were a bit too bright and colorful but was an improvement over the previous Dead Reckoning game. Music was very average. The game mechanics were sound.
Good horror game with decent story, nice soundtrack and fine graphics. I like the idea of a cursed mask. Of course there are a couple of logic gaps in the story. Decent length. My only complaint was that the HOS's were too numerous and repetitive.
It seems this game is not quite as well received as The Keepers Lost Progeny but I think it is just as good. It is more medieval fantasy than horror related this time.
Good graphics and soundtrack. Nice story and bonus game.
Its a decent game but pretty much the same as the other games in this series, top notch graphics and soundtrack but with a mediocre story filled with deux ex machinas
As usual with this series, the graphics and music are top notch. However the game is marred by a poor and unengaging storyline filled with Deux ex Machinas, contrived situations and unsympathetic characters.
