I started playing the demo but I just can't get myself to finish it. Yes graphics are great, colorful where needed and drab where needed but it doesn't save the game. The story-line is just awful, its all over the place and can't make up its mind whether it is paranormal or real-world, it tries to fit it all into this game to give it a good story-line but it fails. The story is so boring that I don't care about the towns people, rick or the town and what happens to all of them. I usually get very excited over the collectables and morphing objects but they didn't interest me this time. If I find a game engaging I will play the puzzles but I skipped most of them.
I realize now just what a good game Fellow Traveler is now.

Pro's Finding the trash was harder New beautiful scenery Night time scenes Actually needed to use the hint for the main items Seemed to be a lot more scenes than usual Play casual or hard which is timed Loved trying to beat the skip time Can replay scenes and better your time
Cons Puzzles were too easy even though its not the reason I play the game
I love this game so much, just wish it wasn't over. It was long but I wouldn't have minded another 10 extra scenes ;-)

I really enjoyed Turbo Subs so needed to play this one.
The levels were pretty easy to beat, only failed twice. But at the same time I only got expert once so there is a bit of a challenge.I finished the game quite quickly but will play again some time to try to get expert on all levels.
I recommend this game for stress free playing and to fill some time.

Storyline I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this game as I've never played a romance game before but it's nothing like I expected. Yes it's the 2 people that are madly in love with each other but the game consists of them trying to save each other and battling the bad guys. At least Juliet isn't a weak damsel in distress, she's very feisty and you get to switch between her and Romeo.
Graphics Lovely, colorful, bright graphics and scenery and it suited the storyline. I prefer my graphics usually dark and creepy but here it suited the storyline perfectly, no need for moody scenes.
HOS & Puzzles Hidden object scenes were quite different from the usual and puzzles can be played in easy or hard which is nice for a change. Just be warned though those who hate puzzles, there are tons of puzzles but at least you have a skip option. I really enjoyed the puzzles and I tried to play them on hard but sometimes I needed to play on easy and other times I just had to skip as it was too difficult for me.
I think a guide is needed in this game though instead of just using the hint button, hate not knowing what do do next. Would also help with puzzles.

What I liked about this game: Great graphics and sound Interesting HOS Murder mystery setting and storyline I like that the bonus game ties to the main story Collecting evidence Conducting interviews with suspects You have no clue who the killer is until the end Collecting Cards & morphing objects Going back to the scenes after completing the game if you missed any cards etc
What I didn't like: As a reviewer mentioned the beginning of the mystery does not draw one in but it definitely gets better The puzzles weren't very interesting at all

I wasn't 100% sure when I bought this game but I'm glad I did. I do think the supernatural element could have been scrapped but it didn't interfere too much with the game. I don't give detailed storylines as other still need to play the game.
Storyline: Enjoyed the storyline of greed, conspiracy, murder and framing. The fact that there was a spirit hovering around I found totally unnecessary and it didn't add anything to the game.
Collectibles: There are morphing objects, sin cards and puzzle pieces to collect. These are seriously not easy to find but luckily the object on your task bar starts to shimmer which indicates that there is a morphing object or puzzle piece in the scene without actually telling you where it is. There is a tab that can be opened at each scene which will tell you how many sin cards are in the scene or whether there are none. These are not easy to find so having that tab helps.
Evidence Box: All relevant pieces of evidence gets put into the evidence box. Every time a piece of evidence is added, you will get more information about a suspect.
Bonus Game: The supernatural element in the bonus game is relevant to the story unlike the main game. You will carry on collecting sin cards in this game in order to open the 3rd chapter of the game which is a puzzle. However, if you were not able to find all the sin cards to play the bonus game or the last puzzle chapter all you need to do is click on the collectibles in "extras" and you port to the scene where you still need to find them.
Graphics: Gorgeous fairy-tale type graphics.
I played Everburning Candle as well but this was by far the better game.

I was excited about playing a game that's set on a train but at the end of it, the train was the most boring part of the game. I actually stopped playing but decided to go back to the game a couple of weeks later.
The plot started off intriguing and exciting but ended up fast being exactly like an extremely convoluted c-grade murder mystery movie. Not even changing characters could save this game.
Graphics are beautiful, Hidden Object Scenes are way too easy with nothing hidden. The part that was challenging was the morphing objects though, I found very few of them. The hidden pine-cone in each scene was sometimes easy and other times difficult to spot.
The bonus game sounded promising at first but was no fun either.

I think I stopped playing about 20 minutes after starting and was going to give up. Then I decided to read the reviews again and gave it another go. I guess I was looking for a good mystery without demons and other weird creatures for a change.
I carried on playing and it definitely got a lot better but the bonus game is seriously boring and that I'm definitely quitting.
What I didn't like: I didn't see the purpose of the butterflies to the story A banner keeps popping up for a completed task and then a new task I found the interactions between my character and the prisoner really unnecessary (although I was surprised to find out at the end who is it) The backstory that the prisoner tells you is boring and they tried to make the graphics look LOTRish At first I thought the raven was creepy but he got less so as the game went on I know its supposed to be in the woods but I didn't like the setting Maple Creek beats the storyline and creepiness factor of this game The bonus game tells the story of one of the characters (how she got there and what happened to her boyfriend and friend) but the gameplay is tedious and its a lot of HOS repeats. I can't carry on playing it.
What I liked: The gondola ride crashing scene is awesome Vast landscape of gameplay Map that indicates where you are and in which area an action is needed Enjoyed uncovering what happened to the girl's missing parents and all the skeletons found in the area
To be fair, I think I might have liked this game a lot more if I had just bought the SE.. But try it, don't take my word for it.

I've played quite a few games recently where I just stopped playing a few minutes in and I thought this was going to be one of them. I'm happy to report that this was not the case.
Storyline This is obviously a spin on the fairy-tale/rhyme of the crooked man. Its obsession to the max with a very sad, although abrupt ending. Don't like to give away story and plots etc. Mother Goose is mentioned quite a few times in this game and its surprising that she's a bad guy which is a nice change.
Gameplay You can choose your mode and you can switch between modes by going to main menu. Sometimes there can be quite a bit of back and forth but I must admit I never got bored. I loved finding the cursed objects (there was 1 in almost every scene) and at the end of the game I was missing just one. The hidden object scenes were beautiful pieces of jewelry and flowers which in the end made an object that you needed.
Puzzles I enjoyed all the puzzles and I found them to be really fun. I played on hard so there was no option for me to skip the puzzles when they were too hard so I would use the guide for help. However, I did find that some of the steps to solving the puzzles was left out of the guide so I had to really find a way of solving the puzzle myself.
Bonus Game The bonus game has a different story all together, pretty gross plot but quite different for a change. I think the story lost its way here and there and at one point I wouldn't even remember the plot. The hidden object scenes and beautiful puzzles saves it though. Just be warned there's a lot of puzzles in the bonus game and if you're not a fan or you find it too difficult, rather play on casual. Game was quite short with an abrupt ending.
Graphics Beautiful fairy-tale graphics, I think the developers really outdid themselves. Going by review it seems as if this is a pretty old game but its gorgeous and the graphics are not outdated at all.
I can definitely see myself playing this game again in the future.

I've now played this game for the 3rd time and it's still awesome. Not on par with the level of challenge of Burger Shop but still a challenging and fun game.
I love that one doesn't always have the amount needed for a specific kitchen upgrade, so you play the next level to make more money for your upgrade. Also I love the fact that there are at least 4 hidden object scenes in between gameplay which is a nice break from serving customers.
Another bonus is that there is a thief that lurks around in the background and steals your tips if you're too slow to pick them up in time, definitely adds to the challenge.
This game is 60 levels of fun and I totally recommend it.
