The water elemental looks like Zoidberg when threatened. That's how cool it is. Workers who look like the Mario brothers - and in some tasks you may need 9 of them, but when you have them, they all go together and only one does the work (union rules, I guess#. A stalwart hero who gets rids of the menaces and then sits on a beach chair watching how everybody else works. Crocodiles, crabs, ice warriors, gingerbread warriors, polar bears, wolves, all kinds of menaces that our stalwart hero takes care of. First captured by the ice queen, then her allies, then captured by the gingerbread warriors, then THEIR allies against the ice queen, and finally brokering a peace treaty... and then off to the deseert, where they build igloos to keep the inhabitants cool #impeccable logic....#... The plot is quite silly, and a delight, what with the entertaining characters you run into.. a ridiculous villain...
Another game that remembers that the point of the game is the journey not the destination, and offers a real romp.
The strategy is quite convoluted. For one thing, no bushes or wells that give off resources freely if slowly. Except for the ones you pick up on the road, if you want resources you have to build the resource giver. And they are tied up. You cannot have houses without the sawmilll #check the evil looking gingerbread houses with their tusks#, but the sawmill does not give up for free. You pay in gold, and you get gold from the rent of the houses. So you have to start with a house you can affrod, and as you accumulate money and lumber, you can upgrade, buy others, and then demolish the old house and put up one with higher rent. You need a farm to pay workers #they get paid in food), and when you need crystals you need the food AND a lot of houses. They more houses, the more people, and the more people, the more crystals... And then usually you find your tools on the road or in chests. But at the end you have to build a foundry to get the tools. Then demolish the foundry to put up the building you need...
I am sorry it ended...
I recommend this game!

The level of challenge is not that great, but you are having such a wonderful time that you do not care. A good motto for developers should be "it is the journey, not the destination" and this journey is a delifhtful one, with very nice graphcis (and nicer when the evil is removed) and nice characters (those big eyed mandrakes). The challenges are enough to keep the flow moving. The jigsaw reconstruction are made more challenging in that the pieces keep moving until locked into place. Nice change from dark and gloomy demonic pieces. Let's hope this developer's next series learns its lessons from here.

If you love jigsaw games, this is for you. There are A LOT of them, with different level of difficulty. You will find those who take half an hour at most and then those who take seven hours.
The shapes are well defnined, and the pictures clear. You can use tools like a tray to separae like pieces, a magnifying glass, and a ghost picture of what it is supposed to look.
Thanfully all pieces are right side up.
So, if jigsaws are your type of game, get this.

Let's hear it for bathroom humor.. It beats gloomy and terrible every time.
Non linear, which means that even if you do not accomplish your task, tehre are otehrs you can. Grab eveerything you can, because you might need it later on. Make money. Spend money. Try to get on teh plane. But do not hurry, because you will miss most of the fun.
And careful with pieces of paper you pick up. You might need to run to the beach to wash yourself. Until then, you are splattered with brown, flies run around you, and the policeman fines you $20.00 each time he finds you.
Great game!

There have been other match three games. Other games where you buy elements to build something. But few games with so many explosions. From single dynamite sticks to atomic bombs you get to clear whole areias with one click. Boom!!!! Boom!!!! It is a lot of fun to watch the chain explosions. There are some levels in which bombs work against you,and those you have to think. But for the rest, it is an explosion fest.
It is a lot of fun!!!

I had almost given up on adventure games. Too much trite stories, too much backtracking to the point of distraction, too many boring HOS.
And this one made me remeber why I loved them in the first place. Everything was perfect.

Baron Munchausen his improbable adventures has made the delight of many readers over the years. It is a shame that up until now no developers had tried their hand at this. Well, look no further. The game captures the style of his adventures, and the Rube Goldberish inventions he comes up with are a riot. Liked the association-HOS, takes more thinking than usual.
If you are in a bad mood, play this game, and you'll be smiling again.

A good adventure game must have a compelling story or we ask ourselves why are we doing this. Halfway on the story we find a traitor, and more fun sheanigants issue. There is no annoying backtracking, and the puzzles are solvable and don't take too much time and distract form the story.
This is a good adventrue game, as they should be.

It is not a bad game, it is that nothing happens plotwise, and you just go from a place to the other. On the plus side, no anoying backtracking all over the place, and a decent hit sysem. On the minus side, you can't figure out why you should keep moving forward. The monochrome, grayinsh graphics make you less willling to go though. If the locatins were beautiful, you'd keep on, just to see more of them. Buildnng thoe contraptions are fun at fist, but at the fourth or fithth, it gets old...
Still, you can do worse than this one.
I recommend this game!

Hidden object games can be repetitive and boring But not when you are trying to pay to renovate the manor. You have to find things quickly if you want to get top money. And if they ask seveal things of one type, you have to know where all they are before you start clicking, because you get more money if you get them all together. You can use hints, but they cost you money. There are also extra hints, a "hot cold" system that you get when you click a thermometer. And an quick look as to where things are when you click on a camera. The renovation is fun, as you get to choose different elements of the decor (I chose a white and Wedgewood blue scheme). Austin, the butler is helpful and funny.
This is great!!!!!
