If you miss "Murder she wrote" here is the next best thing. Five new cases for our sleuth. Five nice mysteries that keep you guessing till the end. Just HOS and minigames, but with a plot tying it all together.
Unlike other games that take a TV show name and then do their own thing, this one is done by someone who has watched it, loves it, and recreates it. Five tidy mysteries.
I know why there are so many stories about demons. The people involved do not know how to tell an interesting story and throw scary stuff at us to keep us interested.
Well, these people KNOW how to tell a story. Just a small personal story, no spooky stuff. Just a sad tale, with redemption at the end. And it moves us.
The gameplay moves easily enough, and the puzzles are neither too difficult nor too easy, and the HOS are OK.
A strange and deadly pollen is spreading around the world, and you've been hired to track down its source. But the secrets you discover in the fabled kingdom of Floralia are much darker than you imagined...
The storyline is too sprawling, you are in an area, and then transported to another, with a lot of areas you still need to explore. After those transitions you feel lost, and have no idea where to go next. So you look at the map to know where you have to go, and follow. You just hope that when you get there you have some idea of what to do.
In the end, you are a spectator, and sit back and enjoy the show..
The visuals are pretty, but a bit much. Everything is pretty and jeweled, and it can get tiring..
It would be better if we had the information unfolding before us instead of having to build the Parables, which can be distracting...
Maybe the developer should rethink the whole scheme, as it gets tiring as it is.
Did James kill his sister? You have to investigate in three different chapters. Each chapter points to a different suspect, so the suspense holds until the end. The visuals are great - as they all do in this series - some of the minigames are quite novel, and the HOS just enough to keep you interested.
A famous actor has literally stepped off the screen to kidnap your niece. Now you must find a way into the dangerous and exciting world of the film to save her!
The storyline is intriguing, and slowly developed, keeping the interest. The game flow is well thought of, and it follows a logical progression. The visuals are pleasant enough.
I could not finish it. I will not finish it. Each time I got another hidden object scene I groaned. Not another ugly picture where to find stuff.
Sorry, but hidden object scenes must be made pretty so that they do not become a chore. When they are ugly you wonder why are you subjecting yourself to this punishment.
Deep in the heart of an enchanted forest, a forbidden love blooms. Guide the human Eveline as she sets out to rescue her beloved from the clutches of a tyrant.
Games tend to be formulaic, and you know by now the recurring tropes. They do recycle old fairy tales (which, with their tasks, are a natural for these games).
This game feels new, from the weird graphcis, to the developing story that starts as a star-crossed loves story and goes on to cosmic themes, it is like the first game you ever played.
