Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova Collector’s Edition is an incredible adventure based on the true story of the first documented case of vampirism ever!

I had no idea this town was the first to document cases of vampire attacks! You are summonded to go to Kisolova and investigate the sudden deaths of 9 people in a weeks time! There is sabotage every step of the way, someone doesn't want you to investigate! A stranger in a dark cloak is one step ahead of you, cutting ropes, blocking paths and stealing potential evidence. Your only clue is the fact that all of the victims have been bitten in the neck from behind and draining them of their blood! The HOS are well done, and interactive such as clicking on the knife to pick it up and using the knife to cut a melon slice. The only complaint is the items are kind of small. The mini game are pretty simple, such as connecting pipes from the fountain to the valve. There are also things to interact with in most of the scenes like knocking things over or petting the cat. In the bonus content they have real pictures of the town of Kisolva which I thought was pretty interesting.

A woman and her daughter crash into the woods after a crow flies into their windshield! Then they go into the woods instead of staying on the main road, and meet a woman who is clearly a witch, she makes them some tea and and mom passes out and the witch steals the girl. You will learn that in 1932 some children went missing, could the witch be one of these children? This game is just a standard edition but you are going to want to buy this game! The graphics are crystal clear but dark and eerie, the only complaint I have is that the hint system is very vague and you have to click on exact spots to get inventory items to work. The setting is fairly dark which makes some of the items hard to find, and they hide a lot of items in the close up scenes so be sure to check out the whole zoomed in area. Bravo to the developers for creating a well done SE game worthy of our money.

Hugo's wife wasn't to happy to learn of the affair Hugo was having with the beautiful flamingo dancer, Esmeralda and her husband vowed to put an end to the affair as well. Now Hugo has been murdered. Were either of them involved? It's up to you and your assistant to solve this love triangle/square and you will get plenty of help from Hugo's pet fox as well! This SE is still a very good game although only the CE allows you to earn trophies and has bonus content. There are 3 levels of difficulty and a very helpful tutorial if you are new to this type of adventure game. The graphics are the same as the other Grim Facades, colorful pastels with lot's of tasks and mini games such as playing the correct notes of the piano keys as shown on the sheet music, and because there are no achievements you can always choose to skip the mini games. The hint system recharges fairly quickly, but you must find hidden fans throughout the game as well as in the HOS, to get extra hints. You will also find coins that you will use in the general store to purchase items to help you investigate. The HOS are slightly interactive, such as clicking on the doors to open and find more items, Some of the items are small and because of the washed out pastel graphics some items can be a little difficult to find, but don't forget to look for the hidden fans for more hints. Most of the items you find are used quickly and within that scene, but it's pretty easy to decide what the items will be used for. I think this is a good game to use a credit or to pay for.

I don't usually like this kind of cartoonish time management game but I must admit I tried the demo and I like it! The princess has been kidnapped and is being held prisioner by the evil wizard and it's up to you and the prince to free her. The first scene starts you out with a tutorial and it's easy to learn what needs to be done, and quickly because you are timed. Basically when you start a new level you set up camp and you must guide your men by clicking on piles of wood for example to be cleared from the path after they chop up the wood you must pick up the wood to earn money, there will be rock piles, gold piles, apple trees to collect apples mills to rebuild bushes to shake bridges to repair, all of which gives you some kind of reward of food or money or even tools. You will help out ogres who will join you in your quest and you will help out the locals along the way to retrieve lost items. So I recommend you at least try the demo because you might be suprised to learn that you become addicted to this game as well.

I have to tell you that when the first cutscene played, my cat was sitting on my lap watching the computer and when the dark shadow passed by the window he jumped a little and then the creepy spider boy crawled up the dark figures back and my cat took off! This is obviously part of the series of PuppetShow but it isn't necessary to have played the others to play this game, although they are all really good games. The Puppet Master has been kidnapped again and as the lead detective you must scour the town of Joyville for clues and find out who is behind this mayham. You can choose to play in casual, advanced or hard mode. There aren't a lot of HOS but they are slightly interactive such as click on the lamp to turn it on and you will see a star on the lampshade. There are a lot of mini games and they are fairly simple, my favorite one was train tracks of 4 different colors with matching color trains that you had to click levers to switch the trains to their matching colored tracks without crashing the trains. You have a map to travel but it has limited information, simply checks off areas completed no task list. The hint system shows you where to go or helps to find HO but it does take a few seconds to recharge. Shortly after starting the game you will discover a mechanical spider boy that the Master has created that you get to name and later make hats for that will help you during your search, but personally I'm not into dressing up characters in a plot that should be scary. There are also 10 puppets to collect but they aren't hidden, they are in places you look for inventory anyway, and I would much rather they were hidden or blended into each scene. The graphics are well done, and they did a nice job matching the characters lips with the words but the kids voices are adult voices trying to sound like kids. The well known music from Tim Burtons movie does get a little loud a repetitive but it does set the mood. A well done game.

I will admit I liked the CE version better simply because I love finding beyond objects and this version doesn't have them. With that being said, I think this is a great game. The mini games are pretty basic, mostly puzzle pieces to rotated and place, so instead of being frusterated with hard puzzles you can relax and enjoy the whole game, and you can always skip the puzzles without penality. The HOS are slightly interactive, click on the spoon and use the spoon to scoop a gem out of the skeletons eye, and they have done a pretty good job of hiding the items of which you can use the hint button but it does take a while to recharge. You can choose to play in casual mode or all the way to hardcore where you are on your own to figure it out. The story is well done, Pedro gives an artifact to his sister to protect just before the evil sisters of wind, water and fire kill him. You will learn about the Keepers and their fight against evil while roaming the beautiful streets in Spain. This one's worth playing!

As an adult I found this game too childish to really enjoy, but I'm not sure kids won't become frusterated for many reasons. In the HOG when you come across the flashing wolf for a mini game which is simply a stop button, it stops on negative amounts, I got negative 250 points in the first scene which even I became upset. The items aren't well hidden they are just super tiny. When you come to a mini game such as dressing the easter eggs, you had to click on the EXACT spot that say the carrot went or it returns it and you have to pick it up again several times until you get to the right spot. But in all fairness I'm not a kid and this just might keep them entertained on a snow day!

My only complaint is the fact that the Easter Bunny in this game is ugly not cute and cuddly. The game itself however is an addicting kind of match three game that you will enjoy playing with or without the kids. You must match at least 3 of the same color easter eggs while collecting the carrots and cupcakes and coins that you will use to buy decorations for the easter dinner. As you match tools such as scissors you will use those scissors to cut the rope and free up the eggs, or a paintbrush to paint the large egg to free up those tiles covered by the egg! There are cute mini games between levels such as find 10 hidden bunnies, or paint an easter egg etc. and you will earn trophies as you advance. A good Easter themed match three game.

It has been a long time since I have wanted to purchase a game after the demo. I have to know the rest of the story, and I became completely engrossed in the game. A young man tells us how as a boy he was dropped off at a foster home with only a large suitcase because his parents were in fear for their lives! When he turned 25 his foster parents gave him a letter and a map to return to his birthplace and find his special abilities. He meets a beautiful child on the island who is helping him in his quest. The characters themselves are extremly well done and very realistic, and the voiceovers match their lip movement. There are a ton of things to do and find in every scene, and you will get a detailed map. when you choose an area on the map it will open up a picture of each scene and tell you where an area of interest is. The hint system will point the direction to go without draining the hint bar, but if it shows you something specific it will take a few seconds to recharge. Now let's get to the HOS because this one's truely different! As you find the items in the HOS you will see a calander and a clock appears, when you click on the clock you will time warp into the past at the same location to finish a HO in that area as well! Now if you can't find an item, or you don't know what it is. you click on the word in the list and a box pops up with a picture and letters scrambled. you must unscramble the words to match the clue and when spelled correctly it will automatically find yhe object you clicked on. Is that enough to make you wanna play? How about the fact that you get an amulet to fill for magic powers, or you can turn back time, or there are scenes underwater? I'm going to download this game now and find out more, You will probably do the same after the demo!

A game well done. Although there are no "extra's" in this version it is still a really good game to play. The phoenix queen wants to destroy everything because of corruption, and she is starting with Enchantia! What this game does have is more important than what it doesn't, like the beautiful graphics that make you feel like you are in a magical land surrounded by waterfalls, flowers and mystical creatures. Elves and dwarfs and wizards <Hobbit?> help you throughout your journey to defeat the Phoenix Queen and her fire breathing phoenix! You will use your map to travel between magical lands collecting statues and tools etc. and using these items in every location. There is a hint system to show you which direction to go, or to use the map to travel to another location. The HOS is a bit different than most, the same type as in the dark parables series, you must find the parts of a sword for example that are scattered and hidden in a scene and you have a picture of what the part looks like and when you find all the missing pieces it goes together to make a sword or an orb etc. It sounds easy, but they do a nice job of blending items. Play the demo at the very least because I'm sure you will enjoy this game as well!
