I felt this game moved way to slow. You are one of three players and waiting for the other two players taking their turn was just boring. The object of the game is to buy as much property as possible so you can collect rent when others land on your property. You spin a wheel to see how many spaces to move and if the property is available and you have enough funds you can purchase that property. You get 20k every time you pass the start point. There are spots that you can purchase a bigger vehicle so that you can purchase different goods for different areas. Other spots may audit you to pay taxes, some are investment firms etc. There are achievements awarded for owning the most property or completing certain tasks. You can also sell property or mortgage property. Would have been more fun if I could have fast forwarded the other two players.
I don't recommend this game.

A good TM game, fun to play, just not as good as some of the recent TM games of late. This is just a point and click on the desired action such as click on the resources of gold, food or supplys or click on buildings for upgrades or repairs. You must clear pathways, go fishing or chase away the bad guys. There is no destroying or placing of gardens or housing just clicking which was a little disappointing, but this is still a fun game. Enjoy!

The odd thing about this game is that I have played all the scenes before in a different game! The object here is to find as many hidden objects in expert time status. You are also shown the name of a special item to find at some point in the game and only have a few seconds to find this item. You will earn hints and special tools to help find items. The problem is that most of the items are tiny and not easily recognized. It's a fun game to waste an hour but that's about it. En joy!

Wow, I can't believe an hour passed so quickly! This is a story of two that is one (twins) being plagued by the evil Castor of the sea. He has already lured one twin and and now the other returns to Pilgrim's Hook to save her brother. You will love the nautical themed scenery and will be captivated by the story. There are three levels of difficulty to choose from. There are 25 morphing sea creatures to find throughout the game as well as achievements to earn for not skipping puzzles or not using hints during the HOS. The mini games are good but nothing new such as four rotating discs with electric lines that you must line up to allow the lights on the outside of the discs to connect through all four discs to the center connector. The HOS are a mixture of list items and, find 12 frogs, find 8 spiders etc. The HOS are slightly interactive mostly click on something such as a hat to uncover the item underneath. There is a good map system that you will get in the first scene that allows you to travel quickly to any location you have discovered as well as pulsating areas of interest. I can't wait to finish the story to find out who will save the day. Enjoy

This game is well done, good clear graphics, good voiceovers and a unique storyline. Although there are no achievements, collectables or built in strategy guide, you will still get your moneys worth and have fun playing. In a small town already plagued with cholera, women of all social groups are being killed. A talented young apprentice to the towns perfume shop has gone rogue and is killing women with a powerful and deadly perfume cocktail! But why? Could he be after the unique aroma of death? You will get a detailed map of the town, that you can choose under the settings to have flags and areas of interest or just the plain map for a more difficult and challenging gameplay. There are three modes of difficulty and with the maps help you can easily bump up to either advanced or hardcore. The HOS are well done and clear and slightly interactive such as finding a key to unlock a box to uncover an item on the list marked in yellow. Puzzles or mini games are clever but not new such as "blocks" of various sizes that you have to move up and down or left and right to allow a special block to pass to the other side and out the hole. You can't skip mini games on the hardcore mode. Another unusual feature is an alchemist box and scent catcher of which you use on different aromas you come across. You will find different recipies along the way so you can create your own perfume. I gave this game 5 stars in the CE so therefor the SE gets 4 but still a great game. Enjoy!

I am a little bias about the Empress of the Deep series because this is the first HOPA game I ever played and I was hooked. I have waited a long time for this continuing saga about a woman who wakes with no memory because her protector Jacob put her to sleep to save her from her evil twin Pandora. Now Princess Anna must once again fight the evils Pandora has created and save her people. This is a different kind of game where you walk up to things closer and hear yourself walking as if you have a camera on your head. I know this sounds odd but it works. The graphics are good and the character Anna does most of the talking. You will find the HOS are really well done and even if you are an expert, it will take you a little while to find all of the items. The puzzles aren't to difficult and most are fun. There are several options for difficulity to choose anywhere from casual to hardcore but there is a built in strategy guide if you get stuck. The map is in the journal but it won't transport you because shortly after playing you will find a transport machine to travel to different locations, I will be buying this game which also contains a bonus game of zen which is a match 3 with a little zing! Enjoy

Gardenscapes2 does not disappoint, you too will find the hour passing so quickly that you can't purchase the game fast enough! As a child you have the fondest of memories of your parents and their beautiful garden. When you get to your parents you find the garden in shambles, your ageing parents just can't keep up with the garden and it's up to you to make money and restore the garden. Sales are held in different areas such as the attic and kitchen. A list of customers shows up on the side with the hidden item they are looking. If you don't find it right away the less they are willing to pay for that item and when you find that item you must collect the money so a new customer can come in. Each scene has hidden coins, cameras, hints and themometers, and magnifying glasses to help you find the hidden object. As you make money, you will have the opportunity to buy various items for your garden such as flowers, fountains and furniture. A wonderful game, enjoy!

I am writing my review based on the fact that this game is intended for beginner HOPA gamers. There is only one mode of difficulty, and the character herself explains what to do and where to go. A woman wakes up in a bar bathroom disoriented and apparently a ghost. She goes to see her sister who freaks out because they just held her funeral! The HOS are very easy and there is one in every scene, no interaction just straight list finds. Everything you find will be used in that scene or the next. The graphics are okay and the voice is just the main character explaining everything. The puzzles are very easy and if you are new to this type of game, this is a good instructional way to learn. I am recommending this for beginners only.
I recommend this game!

At first I thought this game was too easy, clicking and dragging as many gems as you could. Wait a minute a new twist... as you progress you have to make shapes like in tetras, a square, a zee, a line etc. all the same shapes as in tetras but they have to be gems of the same color. To get the bonuses you have to make 4 of the same shapes to acquire a bomb or lightning or whatever. It get's progressively harder and some are timed and some limit the amount of moves you have to achieve your goal.
I recommend this game!

I would in reality give this game a 3 1/2 stars because it really isn't bad, it just isn't as good as some of the current games out there and the bar has been moved up a little. A demented man has kidnapped young Anna to lure Agent Clair to save her. He has her in a cage at an abandoned mall that he has rigged with hidden cameras and dangerous traps to test her skills....but why? What has Clair done to this crazed kidnapper? The game itself has a good plot, good graphics and voiceovers, three modes to choose from and a map for traveling with stars for areas of interest. However there just isn't enough to do in my opinion and the tasks you come across are so obvious that it becomes almost boring. The HOS are well done, you must first find a taro card before you receive the list of items. They have interactive parts where you also use inventory items. Mini games are simple switch the red buttons to the top and the blue buttons to the bottom etc. I'm just on the fence with this game, I suggest trying the demo before purchasing.
