I have just finished playing the demo with my 9-year-old grandson, Wesley. We had a blast playing Reef Life together, and we were both bummed when the demo ended, so we bought it...and it was eligible for the BOGO!
Wesley asked me how to write a review, and I told him to make me a list of the features he liked or didn't like about the game so we could tell others why they should buy the game, too.
WESLEY'S PRO's:
-Finding the items was fun
-Seeing a donut in the water with a fish was funny
-Dragging the task items to the right place was cool
-Spot the Differences is my favorite game. I also liked the jigsaw puzzles
-It's colorful (he also added that he is colorblind, which made some items harder to find)
-I liked finding Dolphins and Pearls, but sometimes I forgot to look for them

WESLEY'S CONS:
Grandma, I don't have any cons because I really like the game. Do we have to have a con?
Although the items are fairly easy to find, it was still enjoyable if you are looking for a relaxing, colorful HOG. Wesley and I haven't completed the game, but so far, the scenes have more to do with the resort part of "Reef Life," and I was really hoping to see more scenes WITHIN the reef. The title itself is what actually grabbed my attention because I'm tired of every HOG being travel-related, and it would have been a refreshing change to have an underwater-themed game! (but we haven't completed the game, so perhaps it will get more nautical-themed as we progress)
The mini-games are the standard STD, Match 3, Memory Match, Mahjong (which I hate), word search, and puzzle variations (I do appreciate that the jigsaw puzzles are larger than normal).
Each scene has 3 Dolphins and 3 Pearls to find. Finding all 180 Dolphins unlocks the Unlimited Mode, and finding all 180 Pearls unlocks Bonus Mini-games.
It's always beautiful in The Woods, so grab a pair of hiking boots and head on over to the campfire to chat about games or whatever's on your mind...in between bites of Smores, of course! Just keep your eye on Woodsy, the Bear; he thinks Smores are a Bear Necessity! thewoodsforum.boards.net
I recommend this game!

𝑴𝒚 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒏!...
I love Halloween, so naturally, I was intrigued to see what Domini Games had cooked up for the occasion. How bad could it be?
𝑴𝒚 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝒎𝒚 𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒕𝒔...
Even though the printer was sitting just inches away from my laptop, I had to find and hardwire a cable. It's 2024, and I'm sure most printers connect wirelessly via Bluetooth nowadays. Then I had to find my laptop's power cord. Then, I had to refill the ink cartridge.
𝑴𝒚 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒆...
As luck would have it, the zipper was rusted! A little soap should help the rusty zipper, so I'm off to the bathroom.
𝑴𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒚...
Looks like the soap dispenser requires batteries to operate. Apparently, I don't ever wash my hands because the dispenser was missing two of four batteries...but I did state that "I've been meaning to fix it" so that should count for something, right?
𝑴𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌, 𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒃𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒚 𝑷𝒂𝒖𝒍...
Now it's back to the computer to steal the batteries out of my mouse...didn't see that one coming. Wouldn't you know it, the mouse's battery compartment is held tightly together with four screws...Drat! I'm gonna need a screwdriver...or a coin, or a comb...too soon to tell.
Two mini-games later, I have arrived at the Frightsylvania Castle in Romania. I'm an invited guest, so I shouldn't have to worry about a bunch of meaningless tasks.
𝑴𝒚 𝒇𝒊𝒇𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒊𝒔 𝒋𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒖𝒑...
I didn't take into account that monsters in Romania may have different customs, so I'm going to have to jack up their sofa to fetch my own coffee mug.
𝑴𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒙𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌, 𝒔𝒌𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒐𝒓...
A skeleton key appears to be inside the lock on the opposite side of the door. If only I had a newspaper and something to pop the key out with. Hey, I know...why don't I just ask one of those nice people sitting at the bar to unlock the door?...do you wanna build a snowman...okay bye.
𝑷𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒎𝒐𝒎 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒓...
I'd like to point out that I have only just entered the third scene. Here, I have to repair wheels to move a cart, find and replace clock hands, glue a clown motif, and clean up a glob of sticky green goo. Can this game be any more generic?
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒏𝒔...
I don't mind playing an easy HOPA game once in a while. I can even overlook a ridiculous storyline now and then, but for Fright's sake, is this the best scenario you can come up with Domini? Are you telling me that not a single person on your team can think of a different task to use other than the ones you repeat over and over, in every single game? I guarantee that everyone who has played any Domini game in the past can picture those above-mentioned tasks and know exactly what is required to solve every one of them.
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒆𝒅...
We've all figured out what the golden star does. The star was added to guide us in choosing an extended play feature. I haven't read a single review since its inception that has anything positive to say about earning a giant gold star. This extended play scenario isn't new. The feature was simply shown as an icon with or without a chain around it in the past. If so many people complain about this feature, why not revert back to the original scenario... do our opinions matter so little?
𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬......

No pressure, Casual Arts, but I'm hoping Halloween: Trick or Treat will become a yearly Halloween tradition. It isn't Christmas until Christmas Wonderland is released, so let's start a new Autumn tradition by offering a new Trick or Treat every year...Casual Arts style!
Halloween: Trick or Treat 3 is entertaining and addicting, and the graphics will blow you away! Every time I play a new game by this developer, I'm stunned by the amount of detail Casual Arts puts into each one. This is why so many people purchase their games without bothering to play the demo. Casual Arts have gained our loyalty because they have earned our trust for so many years!

You can play in a Casual Mode (untimed-faster hint recharge), a Challenge Mode (timed-normal hint recharge), or Extreme Mode (only available in the CE version), a timed mode where you must find all Lost & Found items and all Golden Pumpkins on each level.

Words listed in Blue are Tasks that require an interaction of some type (longer descriptions are shown when you place your cursor on the blue word), and words in Red are hidden inside or behind things (a magnifying glass will appear when you scan the area). Most of the scenes have at least one sparkling Zoom Zone, as well.

You will earn an Eagle Eye achievement if you don't use either the Hint Magnifying Glass, which shows the location of a single random item, or the Mega Hint feature, which briefly shows the location of all available items from the list. You'll earn a Bronze Star for completing the HO Scene, a Silver Star if you find all Golden Pumpkins OR all Lost & Found Items, and a Gold Star if you find all Golden Pumpkins AND all Lost & Found items. (extreme mode requires you to find all recyclable items & wildlife)

There are 19 Achievements to earn, and you can purchase 16 Halloween Decorations that are displayed in your front yard. Each scene contains several hidden Golden Pumpkins and several Lost & Found items, shown as Silhouetted Shapes (96 total). Some scenes have a Photo Op Icon  to take a picture of the scene for your Photo Album (16 Photo Ops)

After each Hidden Object Scene, you'll play a quick Mini-Game, such as Placing Map Shapes, Spot the Difference, Word Search, Concentration, or Jigsaw Puzzle variations (Rotate Squares, Swap Squares or Strips, Flipsaw, Slider Puzzles, etc.).

COLLECTOR'S EDITION EXTRAS:
CE Bonus Levels (marked with a CE Rosette), an Extreme Mode available, 18 Wallpapers, 20 Music Soundtracks w/player, 19 Achievements, 16 Photo Op Screenshots (available in Photo Album), 16 Halloween Decorations to purchase and display in the front yard, 96 Lost & Found items to find, Golden Pumpkins in each scene,  48 Replayable Mini-Games.
EXTRA MINI-GAMES:
6 Jigsaws
6 Square Tile Rotation Puzzles
6 Flipsaws
6 Spot the Differences
4 Concentration Memory Games
6 Word Search Games
2 Ring Rotation Puzzles
3 Trivia Quiz Games
2 Crack The Code Games
2 Find Groups of Items
1 Find Groups of Animals (shown on a phone)
1 Trace The Wires Games
3 Fragmented Shapes Puzzles (Halloween Pirate Challenge-Casket Full of Bones-Mummy's Yummy Dessert)

Twistingo just eclipsed into a whole new galaxy! This developer knows how to put the Mix into Mixo Games, bringing us a fantabulous Hidden Object game with a splendiferous twist. Blue Moon is challenging yet incredibly fun...this ain't your granny's old-fashioned HOG. So scootch your computer chair up to the puter, grab a cuppa Joe, and buckle in for the long haul.
The first thing that catches your eye, as do all Mixo Games, is the vibrant hues of the flora & fauna in these tropical isles.  Unfortunately, the island is under a Blue Moon icy curse, so you'll have to search for Moonstones during the layered HO scenes to remove the icy curse.
The main Hidden Object scenes are very complex and multi-faceted. There are Riddled Clues and Multiples of a whole slew of items that are very cleverly blended into the scenery. As you progress, you'll be tasked with finding a tool that will allow you to delve even deeper into the scene while opening new Zoom Zones.
Some of the items are linked to a mini-game, including the infamous Twisting Bingo game, where you click on numbered balls that match the numbers on the Bingo card. I loved the Blocked Doors mini-game, where you had to remove blocked doors in a specified direction, according to the arrows, until the field was cleared. There is also a Mahjong Matching game and a Higher/Lower Solitaire game as well.
Some items prompt a different HO variation. There are two HO variations. The first variation is a Matching Pairs HO that is deeply layered with hundreds of beautiful items. You simply click on two identical items to remove them. My favorite level was the one where you first remove matching water lilies, followed by the lily pads, and then colorful tree frogs, snails, and finally beautiful fish...very pretty and so relaxing.
The second variation is also deeply layered, but in this variation, you remove multiple items that are listed on scraps of paper. As you remove items, more listed items are uncovered until you reach the bottom of the layered pile. Both variations are actually quite challenging; in fact, one of the levels had two large, slowly turning gears with items hidden within.
This is not a typical Hidden Object Game. Mixo Games has somehow managed to put a Twist into a typical HOG...but then again, that's what they do best!
It's always beautiful in The Woods, so grab a pair of hiking boots and head on over to the campfire to chat about games or whatever's on your mind...in between bites of Smores, of course! (just keep your eye on Woodsy, the Bear; he thinks Smores are a Bear Necessity! thewoodsforum.boards.net

I've always been a fan of Magnussoft's solitaire games because they have a unique feature that no other developer offers. Some of the cards on the fields appear to only contain a single card, but in reality, there may be 20 cards or more hidden below. I also love the fact that you can click the screen to immediately end the card animations to proceed to the option to replay or continue, wicked fast.
Unfortunately, this particular game has four solitaire variations: Higher/Lower (Golf) - Matching Pairs (Identical Matches) - Sum of 10 (Pairs) - Sum of 13 (Pairs). I love the High/Low variation, but I'm not crazy about the other three variations. Each variation has 40+ levels each.
Each level has three goals required to earn all three stars, such as clearing the field, earning a specified number of points, or making a combo of a specified amount.
There is a Shop where you can purchase Jokers and Wildcards, but these cards can be earned in-game if you are patient enough to wait. These cards are sold at a ridiculous price of 25,000 points for Wildcards and 50,000 points for Jokers, so you're better off to just replay the level.
If you don't mind that there are four different variants, it is a relaxing game with cute animals.

...I create another boring image with dull, lifeless colors. Once again, I am forced to finish all the pictures in the first level before I can access the next. I don't even get to see what those other pictures are!

Why are the colors used in these games always so ugly? Why are the sections to fill in either huge or so tiny you can't find them?
Why can't they offer pictures that are more intricate, using several color hues so that the pictures are more appealing without being microscopic? Other painting games pull this off quite well!
Why does the completed image disappear the second you fill in the last section...are they hoping you won't notice how unappealing the finished product is if you can't inspect the completed picture?
Why is the custom cursor the size of a quarter, yet you still have to swipe over an area repeatedly to get the color to fill in? How difficult would it be to offer a couple of smaller tipped cursor options?

I would probably purchase every Match 3 game offered by this developer if they would just create new games from scratch versus recycling previous level layouts with new icons. Their games were really fun when they first entered the market, but now they are the same game with a different story!
There are only so many new customers you can reach, so eventually, everyone else will notice that their new game is exactly the same as the last game, and they won't have a need for another identical Match 3 game.
I'd like to see eFunsoft stretch their imagination and put on their thinking caps to create unusual power-ups or some creative features like fire to melt ice, morphing blocked tiles, or perhaps a volcano that spews molten lava to encrust a few tiles.
One of my favorite features in previous games was the Spiders that covered tiles with spiderwebs if left unattended. The web-covered tiles were challenging because you had to stay one step ahead of the spider until you could destroy it; otherwise, the whole board could potentially become webbed & blocked! Unfortunately, this entertaining little feature didn't last long; it was ditched because some people were afraid of spiders. I don't like REAL spiders either, but obviously, these weren't real!  Here's an outside-the-box solution...Change the Spider to a Caterpillar who undergoes metamorphosis, which encases some tiles within the cocoon (actually, it's called a chrysalis). When the correct match is made, out pops a beautiful Butterfly, and butterflies couldn't possibly give a player the heebie-jeebies, right?

Wouldn't it be cool if BF offered a trial version of their games so you'll know exactly what kind of game it is before you purchase it? 🤣 Yes, this is just a Hidden Object Game (HOG), not a Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure (HOPA).
Yes, the scenes are crammed full of theme-related objects in dimly lit rooms, but the items are blended into the scenery quite well, and I enjoyed the challenge aspect. There are 34 HO levels and 8 puzzle levels, along with a story that somewhat ties into the story from the original game, Chaos Realms.
This game is far better than what Domini Games have morphed into lately. They make you find objects in a pile of junk, three items at a time (none of which are actually "hidden" or even remotely hard to find), and award you with a giant gold star after completing the scene, as if you were in preschool. Most of Domini games are now nothing more than a HOG-hybrid and not much different than The Harmony Chronicles series.
My biggest complaint is that the game doesn't automatically adjust to larger screens. I have an Alienware 38" Curved monitor, and the objects along the edges were cut off, so I had to either play in a small windowed mode or go into the display setting on my computer to adjust the resolution. I would be more than happy to continue my quest in The Harmony Chronicles if Jet Dogs would like to hit up my Curator page.
COLLECTOR'S EDITION EXTRAS:
The second mistake Jet Dogs made was to lock access to all of the CE content until you complete the game. You can't expect someone to pay twice as much money for a Collector's Edition version if they don't know what they are getting in return! The CE extras include CE Levels, Wallpapers, Music, and Extra Puzzles.

I bet you didn't know that Jet Dogs Studios has developed several HOPA games in the past, some of which are really good! With some encouragement, maybe Jet Dogs will dive back into this genre.
The hidden object scenes are a little cluttered, but some of the items can be challenging to spot. They are far better than the HO scenes offered in recent HOPA games by Do & Elephant Games, which says a lot! Several varieties are offered, such as Listed Items, Matching Pairs, Multiples of the Same Object, or Silhouetted Shapes.
The Mini-games are decent but tend to be on the easy-breezy side, such as rotating disks to create several paths or turning on all lights by flipping switches.

To sum it all up, Jet Dogs obviously worked hard to create a Hidden Object Game that, in my opinion, is leaps and bounds better than all the other HOGS offered lately. While other developers are spewing out travel-related searching games, one after the other (most of which are knockoffs of the previous developers' game), Jet Dogs came in hot with a pretty decent HOG! ...If they decide to enter the HOPA market, I'm definitely going to be on Team Jet Dogs!
In case you're curious about their HOPAs:
