I PREFER NATURE SCENES, THIS ONE SEEMED A BIT TOO URBANIZED

I still think Our Beautiful Earth is an amazing series, but I prefer the nature-themed scenes that were prominent in the previous games. These scenes are a bit more urbanized and mostly take place within commercial tourist destinations or on the lawns of houses. I played about 6 levels before I finally got to a scene in Utah that was more in-tune with nature. I expect Urban scenes and tourist destinations when I play the travel-related HOGs, but I loved the naturalistic approach of Our Beautiful Earth where it veered off the beaten track to show us a different side of Mother Nature! There are a ton of travel-related HOGs out there, but only one Our Beautiful Earth, so please, keep it Earthy not Urban.
Each of the 30 scene locations has 3 adorable cats that meow when you click on them and you'll earn extra points as well. Each level also has a hidden Camera that will reward you with a location screenshot, and there is a hidden Paw Print Tile of various critters in each level, (ignore the fact that dolphins & birds don't have paws lol) Wouldn't it make more sense to have the Pawprint Tile open up to reveal that animals real print, even if it's just a flipper or dorsal fin?
Each scene has 2 Sub-scenes or Zoom Zones that will appear as Boxes on the Right side that come and go as objects are found and new ones added. but unfortunately, there isn't a separate list of items in bold for the sub-scenes.
You can play in a Casual or Challenge Mode, depending on how fast you want the Hint & Puzzle Skip buttons to recharge. There are no Misclick Penalties or Timers so this HOG is very relaxing, peaceful, and enjoyable to play. Each location gives you a little fun fact at the start of each HO scene which I find very interesting. I also like the Magnifying Glass feature, you can right-click anywhere on the scene to pull it up, and right-click again to make it disappear, and the magnifying glass doesn't disappear when you find an object and click on it like some other HOGs.
You can earn up to 3-stars, the first Star is earned for finding all 18 Listed Objects, a second Star for finding all 3 Cats, and a 3rd Star for finding the Paw Print Tile. Coins earned for completing the HOGs and Mini-games are used in the Gift Shop to reveal 14 sections on a beautiful Wallpaper Scene.
After each Hidden Object Scene, you will play a Puzzle or Mini-Game such as Spot the Difference, Memory Matching Animal Pairs, Rotate & Drag Tetris-Shaped Puzzle Pieces into Place, Mahjong, Jigsaw Puzzles, and even Mosaic Griddlers. The Spot the Differences images are really subtle so they can be quite challenging, I don't normally like Mahjong but this was a classic Mahjong that was unusually challenging and held my interest.

I'm really confused by the title of this latest edition in the Adventure Trip series which indicates that there was an Amazing World 1, otherwise, why would this be called Amazing World 2? The only games I have played in this series are London, Wonders of the World, and New York, all of which have had a CE & SE version... did I miss one?
Every game in this series (with the exception of the mysterious Amazing World #1) are fantastic HOGs! They have clear graphics, well-hidden objects that aren't blown out of proportion, fun collectibles, and some of the best customizable settings. There is a Magnifying glass available, but it can't be used in the Zoom Zones, and it disappears whenever you click on an item which is really annoying! I wish it would remain until I right-click to ditch this feature!
You can play in an Easy Mode which has a 15-second Hint recharge and no misclick penalties, a Medium Mode with a 15-second Hint recharge, and a misclick penalty, (-1000 points), or a Hard Mode with a 60-second Hint recharge and misclick penalties. I love the scoring window because it gives you more points for Accuracy and points for not using the Hint feature.
There are 20 different scene locations that can be replayed in several different HO variants, such as Listed Words, Missing Vowels, Scrambled Letters, Silhouetted Shapes, Pairs, and Clue Descriptions (in the unlimited section) If you don't like the upcoming Mode, all you have to do is select the desired mode on the popup window that appears before the start of every level!
Each scene, including replays in different word modes, has a Collectible 8-Ball, and a Peace Sign. Before starting a level you will be shown a special item to search for that will give you a fun fact once collected. Collecting 100 Peace Signs will unlock the Unlimited Mode, and collecting 60 8-Balls will unlock bonus Sudoku & Mahjong games, finding all Special Fun Fact items will unlock a Bonus Jigsaw, and you can purchase 15 different Gifts with the points earned.
After completing a Hidden Object Scene, there will be a Mini-Game variation to play, such as Spot the Difference, Square Tile Swap puzzles, Match 3 games, Word Search, Mahjong, or a Jigsaw Puzzle.
The Collector's Edition version includes 14 bonus locations, 15 Gifts to purchase, 100 Peach Signs to unlock the Unlimited Mode, 60 8-Balls to unlock the Bonus Mahjong & Sudoku games, and a bonus Jigsaw when you find all Fun Fact items.
I had a few issues that weren't game-changing but were a bit disappointing so I deducted a star because it doesn't automatically adjust to my large 38" curved monitor. Some of the scenes had double images on the right & left side past the area a normal screen has. When I clicked on the Gift section, the screen stretched too much and cut off the exit button at the bottom and I had to click ctrl/alt/delete to exit out of the game!

THE KING IS IN GOOD HANDS, I'M THE BEST INSPECTOR IN THE DEPARTMENT!

Completed Game in approximately 5 hours 24 Main Game Scene Locations +17 Bonus Chapter Difficulty Range: Beginner...always is
The King has fallen ill and is in desperate need of my help because I am the best Inspector of the Supervision Department (don't laugh, it's a pretty big department) of Magic...for the entire Kingdom! I know what you're thinking...this sounds like a self-appointed, bogus exploitative position, but I can assure you that I take my Royal Magic Inspections seriously. I inspect the heck out of magic, no magic slips past this Inspector's cracks, not on my Inspector Watch! Albeit Dark Magic, Light Magic, Ceremonial Magic, Conjuring Magic, Hocus Pocus Magic, Blair Witch Magic, Wand-waving Hermione Magic, White Witch trapped under the house Magic, even Nose-twitching Samantha Stevens Magic is a Magic I'm prepared to Inspect! I'd better get a move-on, this Magic ain't gonna Magically Inspect itself!
Collectibles/Morphing Objects (CE version only) Once again, Domini copy/pasted the collectible's feature from a previous game because when you go to the CE Extra's menu it has a category for Magic Flowers. When you click on the Magic Flowers feature it shows the silhouettes for 15 Bracelets?? Once you start the game, however, the collectible's tab states that they are indeed Magic Bracelets, not Magic Flowers! There are also 15 Morphing Royal Household items and 70 Zoom Zone Vials of Potion to purchase 15 Curio Cabinet Items. The "curio cabinet" doesn't look like a curio cabinet, it looks like a shelf in a closet, so this is probably a typo as well?? Speaking of typos, page 45 on the SG tells us to PLAT an HOP. I don't think my Magic Inspection skills aren't capable of such a feat?!
I'd also like to ask a question: (possible SPOILER ALERT)
Who at Do Games thought any of these purchase options would interest the player...any player? A saddle, a diadem, a pair of hunting boots, a falcon hood, a pair of gloves, a snuff box, a leather notebook, a saucepan, a scroll, a dagger, a feather duster, a portrait of the Kingdom's founder, a hunter's whistle, and a bottle of some sort that also states it is a hunter's whistle (in other words, another typo) Seriously! Isn't the point to create excitement in the player so they will keep playing in anticipation of their next purchase? Is anyone going to get excited over purchasing a feather duster, a used saucepan, or a snuff box, let alone an ugly painting of the Kingdom's founder??? Would anyone in their right mind proudly display any of these items in a Curio Cabinet? END SPOILER ALERT
Hidden Object Scenes: The first Hidden Object Scene couldn't have been located in a more uninteresting location, within my infamous Wooden Inspector's Cabinet...BUT WAIT, there's more! The next scene has a small Zoom Zone where I am tasked with finding the handle, base, and prongs of a wooden pitchfork via Silhouetted Shapes. Good luck finding these parts because the scene is literally so dark that it is impossible to actually see the objects. (just click on every spot) This must be the Dark Magic I'm here to Inspect? A short while later, after breaking a few keys, and digging up objects buried in a dirt pile and at the bottom of a hay bale (Must have been my Inspector-senses that led me to believe someone had hidden these items) Domini adds a Slider Bars throwback variant just in case you were beginning to doze off!
Alternate Match 3 Game: There is an alternate Match 3 Game available if you don't want to play a Hidden Object Scene. The M3s still don't allow you to make consecutive matches quickly because you have to wait for all tiles to stop falling before you can make the next match and they are the same boards with the same tiles used in every Do Game!
Bonus Chapter (CE Version Only) Ironically, in this Bonus Chapter prequel, the King's son is poisoned while toasting his return to the Kingdom...this would be a good time to invest in some Royal Cupbearers (food & drink testers for Royalty) There are 8 additional Mini-Games and 5 additional Hidden Object Scenes that take place over 17 additional scene locations. You will continue searching for the final 6 Morphing Royal Household Items, 3 Magic Bracelets, and 15 Zoom Zone Vials of Potion allowing you to purchase the final items for the Curio Cabinet, saving the best for last...the feather duster!
Collector's Edition Extra's: (CE version only) 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 34 Movie Video Cutscenes, 39 Achievements, 17 Replayable Mini-Games, 17 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, Extra Side Tasks/Quests available throughout the Main Chapters (choose by selection the side task on conversation bubbles when available) 15 Morphing Royal Household Items. 15 Magic Bracelets, and 70 Zoom Zone Vials of Potion used to purchase 15 Curio Cabinet items, 6 Main Chapters, +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

Although this series doesn't come close to the original Clutter series masterpiece, I used to enjoy these games, but now they are just plain ole' boring! The objects to clear haven't piqued my interest for a long time, on the last game we were tasked with clearing everything from campfire wood to underwear, the game before that had everything from colorful cocktails to seashells even though it was a Santa/Christmas edition. Before that, we had an episode where we cleared endless pieces of pepperoni, bell peppers, and mushrooms...I'm sure you get the clutter picture!
The feature that annoys me the most are those giant Sun Icons! Most of the challenge in Shopping Clutter games comes from the fact that there is a gazillion Hint Sun Icons that are literally the size of a golf ball so they clutter the board and cover everything you are supposed to be trying to find. You are left with no choice but to click to remove them just so you can see the clutter objects which wastes a lot of time when playing on the Difficult Mode! I can understand having 5-10 on each level, but there are more sun icons than actual objects so unless you use the Hint to find every single object why would you need so many?...at a bare minimum make them smaller (take notes from the real Clutter games if need be!)
There are only two modes of difficulty, Easy Mode which has no time restraints, and a Difficult Mode with a time limit that gives you 500 extra points for not using Hints, and 10 extra points for time remaining. Levels can be replayed if you want to earn a better score and there are 20 Puzzles available as well. I find it hilarious that the developer's name (Fancy Bear) is always on the top of the leader board now for 16 games running, how conceited is that!
Most of the puzzles are simple square swap variations with complicated mechanics, such as swapping adjacent squares, and each time you swap a square the orientation changes. I hate these types of puzzles because they are frustrating and annoying. I'm pretty sure everyone wants to play games for relaxation, so why not have mini-games that are simply jigsaw variations, spider solitaire, and word search? Better yet, add a Spot the Differences variation. There's a big difference between a challenging game and one that is frustratingly challenging!

I love finding Cats, but I've been a dog lover my entire life so I was thrilled to finally get a new game in this series dedicated to Pups! The games in this series have amazing features, beautiful graphics, and of course, even MORE pups to find!
Each HO scene has 18 Listed Items to find with a Secondary Zoom Zone Scene. The listed items are highlighted to show which items are available in the current scene. You can zoom in to the scenes (including the zoom zone) by clicking the Magnifying Glass, Double-clicking, or Scrolling. You can combine these features by clicking on the magnifying glass and THEN scrolling, which zooms into the scene even further...and the graphics still remain crystal clear!
There are no Timers or Misclick penalties but you will earn more points for making fast consecutive finds and you'll earn more points if you don't use the Hint feature. Even though you aren't racing against the clock, you will earn a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Star depending on how many points you earn, so making combos is vital.
There are 16 Hidden Pups in every scene, including the Zoom Zone. (288 total) The Pups will convert to points, allowing you to adopt 15 adorable Pups! (+5 Bonus pups in the CE Version) Each scene also has 3 beautiful Morphing Butterflies (54 Total) Each Butterfly gives you 3 Puzzle Pieces in the Photo Album, which allow you to release the butterflies via a jigsaw puzzle. (place circular-shaped pieces) These beautiful images can be set as wallpapers as well!
After every HO Scene, you will play a challenging Spot The Difference game which also has 3 additional hidden Pups! (54 additional Pups in the STD games) That's a grand total of 342 adorable hidden pups, and there are even MORE pups in the CE version! After completing the Spot The Difference game you will play a mini-game, usually in the form of a shaped puzzle, but there are other variations, such as Cycling through square tiles until the correct image has been discovered, or Rotating Circular Disk Rings to complete the image. One of my favorite mini-games was a secondary HOS where you were tasked with finding multiple stickers of each listed object, such as 12 puppies & 6 ice creams, 6 Rainbows, 6 plants, etc. within a large dog bone shape.
The Collector's edition version has 20 Wallpapers, 16 pictures of the Developer's own Pups with brief bios, 10 Music Soundtracks, 18 Main Scene Locations +6 Extra Bonus Locations, 20 Adoptable Pups, 18 Spot the Difference Scenes +6 Bonus Spot The Difference levels (with 3 additional hidden pups), 18 Mini-games, +6 Bonus Mini-games, and Scene Location Fun Facts ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

I think I may have enjoyed Fortune Play, the 2nd game in the Connected Hearts series, but once again, only the demo will download and I can't activate my purchase! It has been almost ten days since I submitted my first ticket to Customer Service. Since then I have received 2 automated responses from Felix saying they are working on the problem. I'm assuming they were Robo-responses, but I could be wrong, maybe they actually DO have an employee named Felix?!?
A few days ago, they did send out a mass email suggesting a workaround for this issue. That suggestion may work for some, but it certainly doesn't work for those of us who are punished for purchasing too many games which causes the infamous 1404 Game Manager Glitch. This glitch has always required us to "activate" a game within the GM itself after downloading the demo & then purchasing it via the website.
This is the process that is now broken because it no longer recognizes that the game has already been purchased, so when we try to activate the game by clicking "buy now" on the GM, as usual, it just adds the game back into the cart and tries to get us to re-purchase the game we just bought and paid for!
Those of us with this glitch has been unable to download games via the website for 8+ years, and this process has not changed. If we try to access our Purchase History via the website or GM, it instantly logs us out before we even select a game! If we try to download the purchased game from the new receipt feature, absolutely nothing happens, it won't even attempt to download the demo, let alone the full game! If we try to download the game from the new "My Games Downloads" we get a message in red that states "Unable to retrieve archive game library; please try again later" How much later BF, Weeks, Months...Years?
They proudly display the statement "The Best PC Games. The Best Value. The Best Customer Service. Guaranteed!" Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Best Customer Service require being able to correspond with an actual agent? How could they possibly know what issue the customer is actually experiencing if they don't respond to the submitted tickets with a real person?
Connected Hearts: Fortune Play CE I played the entire demo and I have to admit, I may have actually liked this game, too bad I can't play this game which has already been purchased. You may ask why I purchased a game when I can't download the full game...because I was able to download Grim Tales on Thursday so I thought it was fixed (my old games still didn't d/l but I thought they had at least fixed the games moving forward)
The graphics didn't seem as detailed as I've come to expect from Do Games, and the lip-sync wasn't even close to what the characters were saying. The story seems very similar to Deck of Fates, which makes me wonder if there isn't an old MHG employee in the mix.
There is a Gadget Feature where you will switch between playing Beatrice and Franz which is identical to the Dark Romance series.
The Hidden Object Scenes varied with Interactive Lists, Silhouetted Shapes, and Keywords in Sentences. I don't mind the HO styles they offer, I just wish they would be more creative with the locations, how many times have they been inside a closet, inside a chest, or sitting on a table? Can't they choose something more interesting, something more colorful? If they are too boring you can always opt to play the same exact Match 3 levels, seriously, why do they never change the M3 board layouts OR the icons?
The Mini-games were actually decent, they weren't really new but at least they had some interesting selections. I like the Cog puzzle where you had to swap cogs to create an image, and I also liked coloring the picture without having 2 identical colors adjacent in the sections.
The Collectibles haven't changed, well technically, the names have been changed to 15 Morphing Decorations, 15 Puppets, and 70 Cards which are used to purchase 15 items for your Dress Circle...which is nothing more than 15 boring furniture pieces jammed together in a 12" vertical area...see for yourself, it's an awkward room with offerings you could care less about!
This Collector's Edition version has 13 Wallpapers. 15 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 33 Video Movie Cutscenes, 39 Achievements, 16 re-playable Mini-games, 17 re-playable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Morphing Decorations, 15 Puppets, and 70 Cards which are used to purchase 15 items for your Dress Circle, a Bonus Chapter, and a built-in Strategy Guide.

Completed Game approximately 4.0 hours (including completion of all mini-games & CE Bonus Chapter) 24 Main Game Scene Locations +10 Bonus Chapter Difficulty Range: Beginner
I knew this would be another clone of Mystery Tales, and I knew the storyline would be predictable the moment they introduced a couple of misty, floating spirits. How many times are they gonna use this ghostly feature, are they really stuck in this thick of a plot rut? Are they really unable to imagine any new storylines, or are they just unwilling to do so?
I guess we can thank the gaming gods that they moved on from the 17th-century evil-doer whose go-to ensemble was always a mysterious black cloak and beaked plague mask and naturally, he was always one step ahead of his foes! (I'm bettin' every HOPA player remembers that scenario!)
I was also confident that I would be tasked with an array of boring, cliche tasks, but I didn't expect them to be crammed into the first scene!
Scene One: -The very 1st task was to use a key in my car which immediately snapped in two. (has anyone ever experienced key breakage in their lifetime?)...Oh silly pennmom, it's probably because you used your car keys to remove nails from that boarded-up window in last week's game! -I'm still fidgeting with this darn key when out of the blue a woman faints. I quickly switch gears and run to help. Never fear ladies, I'm a certified Faint Waker-upper, does anyone happen to have a feather and a microscope handy? Maybe she fainted because my next task was to enter a telephone booth, can you imagine...a telephone booth in the middle of the street in 2022? I wonder if it uses regular coins or snapshots as currency?
Scene Two: -Gotta unlock that bicycle bag with a shaped emblem because there's always a bicycle chained to a pole...right next to the park bench of course! -Thorny branches, how lucky am I, the thorny branches are covering the bicycle and there isn't a gauntlet in sight! How long has this bike been here anyway? The bike either looks pretty darn good for its age or those vines are from the little shop of horrors! -More purse emblems...maybe people from HOPA-world should consider buying a normal purse from non-HOPA world? -Oops, looks like someone dropped something I need in the sewer drain...I hope it's a shovel because I have a gut feeling I'm gonna need it for that big ole pile of dirt under that tree behind me! -I'd better backtrack to that payphone to make arrangements to get into the dorm...never mind, I'm sure I'll come across a random keycard, it's probably in this drain, or perhaps at the bottom of that fountain over there with a missing a plumbing valve?
Scene Three: -I finally get to use my stolen/lost keycard to get inside the dorm but wouldn't ya know it, the janitor's mop bucket is blocking the hallway...let me just push it aside...crap, it's missing a wheel! -The janitor must be busy trying to find the missing wheel because he didn't have time to change the broken lightbulb in his closet, and by broken I mean it's literally broken in half...I'm probably going to have to do a Hidden Object Scene to find a handkerchief.
Scene Four: -Someone needs my help STAT! Hang on darlin' I've got to fix this leaky pipe first, otherwise, the floor could be really slippery...I mean more slippery than the rest of the pool room floor? -You still doing okay over there darlin'? The funniest thing happened, I noticed something was buried under one of these pool floor tiles, do you mind if I go and get something heavy to smash the tile...you wouldn't happen to have a fang I can use as a wedge on ya would you?
Scene Five: -Well, that's just rude, someone let this candle drip wax all over, well not ALL over, just over the item I need! -I'll just go in this building to get some supplies...oh no! the doorbell is broken, so broken it looks like I'm gonna need new wires and some tape or they will never know I'm standing out here! -It's a good thing I came across this broken doorbell, otherwise, I would never have found the inflatable device stuck up in their tree. Now I can see what kind of goodies they have in their personal mailbox! I'm sure they won't mind, besides, I DID feed their cute little pet raccoon!
Scene Six: -Let's wrap this up by saying I encountered more faucets & fountains missing their valve handles, collected pollen with a brush, came across several codes that were conveniently written down on sticky notes, and used everything imaginable as a screwdriver... except an actual screwdriver, of course! I made countless makeshift handles, repaired more hooks and chains than humanly possible, tweezed several wedged items with ridiculous household items, and I had to jump through several hoops every single time I had to open doors and drawers! Who else is already exhausted and wondering how to survive 3 more chapters?
Gadget/Helpers: There are no Helpers but there is a Gadget, a Paranormal Camera to take pictures of any paranormal activities (just like Mystery Tales eh?) This feature is used 7 times in the Main game but it isn't used in the Bonus Chapter.
Collectibles & Morphing Objects (CE Version Only): Same ole, same ole, with different names, and once again you will collect 18 random notes just lying around waiting for you in random places? There are 15 Morphing Dolls that are too big to miss, 15 Magical Runes, and 59 Snapshots which are used as the currency, doesn't everyone hand their clerks a photo? I wonder how you get the change back, do they tear a corner off of the photo? The Snapshots are used to purchase 15 Boudoir Items and I can't think of a more boring feature (I'm betting they can manage to make it more boring in the next game!)
There is a pull-out tab on the left that can be enabled to show when collectibles are available and you can enable them to show on the map if desired.
Hidden Object Scenes: There are 14 Hidden Object Scenes +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter. The first HO in every Do Game is a Keywords in a Sentence finds within a notebook (boring) There is a HO located in a closet where you find items that match 2 combined Silhouettes (_+_=?) and all the usual varieties, the only one I found remotely interesting was finding Symbols located on a bookshelf, but it was super easy! Why can't this developer think outside the box and place the HO scenes someplace more interesting, someplace other than the same places they have used in hundreds of games?
There is an alternate Match 3 Game available, which still doesn't allow you to make consecutive matches quickly because you have to wait for all tiles to stop falling before you can make the next match which makes the game super boring. It's always the same exact M3 game, the boards never change! They never add obstacles or new features to make it progress in difficulty. FYI: one of the achievements requires you to play the alternate Match 3 game in place of the HOS. (just once)
Mini-Games: There are 28 Mini-Games +8 in the CE Bonus Chapter. You can choose to play most of them in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode and you can choose which mode to have them start out in the Custom Setting (you can still switch between modes for each individual game) Same games, as usual, Swap positions of Green & Blue Tiles - Adjust gauges that move at various speeds to stop at the same time - Adjust arrows to point at the 2 icons shown as a clue - Place knots with various extensions to fit correctly - Move doll pieces along tracks to fit together correctly - and a ton of sequence setups, such as choosing the direction a ball travels through a labyrinth or selecting directional arrows to guide a car to its destination.
Bonus Chapter (CE Version Only) Holy green goblins there's a ghostly canine who is in need of my paranormal services! There are 8 additional Mini-Games and 6 Hidden Object Scenes that take place over 10 additional scene locations. You will continue your search for the final 2 Morphing Dolls, 4 Magic Runes, and 10 Snapshots that will allow you to finish purchasing the Boudoir items.
Collector's Edition Extra's: (CE version only) 10 Wallpapers (basically giant photos of each character), 9 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 26 Movie Video Cutscenes, 44 Achievements, 18 Replayable Mini-Games, 21 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Morphing Dolls,15 Magical Runes, 59 Zoom-Zone Snapshots to purchase 15 Boudoir Items, 4 Main Chapters, +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

I'm with nontechiegrannie on my opinion of this game. I found this to be just another solitaire game with nothing special to offer, it wasn't a bad game, but it wasn't impressive either. I wasn't blown away by the 2D cartoonish graphics, and I didn't particularly enjoy the Japanese inspirational music that accompanied it. By the time I completed the demo, I had no desire to purchase the game because it was just becoming boring.
Snow White Solitaire: Charmed Kingdom was one of the first solitaire games developed by Digimight Games and I remember scrambling to hit the "Buy Now" button because I was so blown away by the incredibly unique features it offered. These features were temporary Morphing boosters that would award you with +Coins, +Extra Deck Cards, and my favorite, a Tornado that revealed a few Face Down Cards. The Morphs would only last a few seconds before disappearing but quickly appeared on another card and you never knew what booster would appear, where, or when and it made the game really fun!
Samurai Solitaire doesn't have that unique feature so it's no different than the thousands of other solitaire games offered nowadays. The Boosters are just ordinary boosters that change a deck card to one needed, remove a selected card, or randomly remove 2 cards. You can also purchase these abilities in the Shop so it's not like they are giving you something special.

Grim Tales has been all over the place lately. The story started morphing into a saga far from the original story as if they had forgotten what the plot was about! They seemed quite content at one point to focus on Anna Grey, as the McGray family became nothing more than a distant memory.
Anna Grey has a unique ability that allows her to travel back in time, thanks to her father Richard's dabbling into Black Magic. At first, most Grim Tale fans didn't appreciate putting the original story in the rearview mirror, after all, they were the ones who made us fans in the first place! Eventually, we grew to love Richard's sarcastic humor, not to mention the humor of a time-traveling woman lugging her daddy's skull around in an oversized purse!
Recently, Grim Tales took another drastic turn, just when we grew to love, and anticipate the next episode of Richard & Anna's antics! Out of the blue, we discover that Anna had given birth to baby Alice! Within a few episodes, baby Alice got kidnapped twice but it was becoming abundantly clear that the torch, and the ability to time-travel, were being passed down from Anna.
What we didn't see coming was the disappearance of good ole' daddy Richard! The last few games have obviously tried to phase out our beloved, fun-loving, sarcastic skull! Grim Tales fans were not happy about Richards's disappearance because we all know the outcome of the Grey/McGray family. Everyone began to voice their disproval which seemed to snap Elephant Games back to reality...don't write off daddy Richard!
Clearly, Grim Tales is veering off course once more as they introduce Anastasia, Anna's mum who summons us from beyond via her beloved Cameo...wait, WHAT? Just bring back Richard and his glowing skull and we will pretend this never happened!
GADGETS & HELPERS: Anastasia is both a Gadget and a helper who contacts Anna via a Cameo on the top left section of the Inventory Bar. She is not a viable option for Richard and/or his glowing skull. Did someone complain that the Dark Magic that allowed Richard to communicate with Anna was too scary, or not politically correct? Why are you flopping the plot and the entire basis of this story around AGAIN, Elephant? The reason Anna stays young has been explained, Richard can't go anywhere obviously because of his "condition" so why can't you just leave well enough alone?? This isn't Richard...bring back the real daddy Richard!

CAN'T YOU AT LEAST CREATE NEW BOARD LEVELS? WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS THE SAME?

The last several games have a serious oversight (that's fancy for saying glitch) When you make matches over the gold cells, it's a hit or miss as to whether the match is accepted and the gold cells are destroyed! It's almost as if the game can't tell the difference between a deliberate match and those that are just tiles falling into place. This happens most often when you swipe upward to make a match over a gold cell. To be clear, it isn't just a case of the gold cell being double layered, this happens from the get-go of level 1.
Every game by this developer is the same, they may change the graphics and the story, and they sometimes even rename the tools (powerups) but the level layouts and goals themselves are identical to the games offered before. The only reason I can think of for a player to purchase another game by this developer is so they can read a new story? (no voiceovers, just text to read)
Some icons are trapped under Crates, Spiderwebs, or Ropes that require making adjacent matches or matches of whatever tile is blocked within them. Have you ever noticed that most of the blocked and hidden tiles are just filler features, and unblocking the tiles is never really a necessity to progress because they rarely expose, or block other areas of interest? They also ditched the spiders that everyone seemed to hate but I actually liked them because at least it was a challenging feature.
The only goal really is to make matches over all of the Gold, Silver, or Blue Cells and make the required number of matches of each specified element tile. Some levels have Treasures or Amulets that can be collected by dropping them off the board when you make matches under them...it's the same MO in the same consequential order every single time!
Two Powerups with various abilities are added at the start of each level. They changed this feature slightly a few games back by not allowing you to purchase the powerups you want. Each powerup comes with a limited amount versus unlimited uses of any powerup once purchased, and/or recharged by filling the Mana Meter.
The powerups include a feature to remove a 5-tile row or column, powerups that destroy a small group of tiles, or just a single tile or chain. Match 5s awards you with a Medium Bomb on the board and Match 6s awards you with a Large Bomb (I never seem to receive a small bomb?) The bomb feature isn't very useful because you have to click to detonate them but you can't swipe them over, up, or down if desired.
Once again, you must purchase all 4 World Upgrades to progress to the next Chapter, 5 Chapters total, with the single Star you earn for completing each level. There are no options for the upgraded worlds, such as choosing which building to construct, where to place the building, or an option to choose from several designs, so it's a boring and meaningless feature for me personally because basically it just allows you to read more text about the saga at hand...not to mention this scenario takes forever before you can move on.
