July 27, 1995. This is a date the Warren family will never forget. It's been 20 years since young Darren disappeared from summer camp at Sullivan's River, his body was never found! Lately, Darren has been trying to reach out to Aaron in his dreams, he desperately needs his brother's help escaping the underworld. Aaron must return to Sullivan's River and enter the Maze to the underworld, but someone doesn't want him there and the spirits are restless, will Aaron make it through the maze, or join his brother in the underworld for the rest of eternity?
It seems like Sable Maze is getting creepier with each new release, but none of them seem to compare with the original.....until now! This game has some of the most clever Puzzles I've ever seen. Let's face it, the mini games can either make or break the game, and this one should earn an award for creativity! There are Morphing Jigsaw pieces, one in each scene to collect and assemble to create 4 different Screensavers. There are plenty of Achievements to earn, and several Plus Sign inventory items requiring some type of interaction with before using the item, some of which have puzzles to tinker with as well. There are also 10 Collectible Character Figures throughout the game.
The Hidden Object Scenes are just average, one of which is repeated in the same scene which really bothers me every time. There are only a few available in the demo itself, the first requires you to find 5 alike items on the left of the bar, and 5 different items on the right. When all 10 items have been found they will unlock two separate list columns. The next HOP is a progressive interactive list find followed by finding several Fragments in the same scene. You can opt to play a Match 3 game instead of the HOP's.
The Mini Games are either new or have a whole new twist on an older version, they are refreshing and entertaining, by far some of the best puzzles I can remember playing in a long time. Below are brief descriptions of some of the Mini Games you will encounter during the demo:
1) Restore the image by rotating the tiles but one tile affects other tiles.
2) Restore the map by choosing one of the three tiles on the left that fit into the next puzzle space and then choosing what column it belongs in.
3) Rotate the 3D image until it comes into focus then place the pieces correctly.
4) Slide the tokens into the slots matching the same color as the outlines.
5) Swap the skulls to complete the design behind them.
6) Raise all tiles to illuminate all tiles, one affects others.
7) Repair a net using thread of three different lengths.
8) Remove roses by jumping one another until only one remains.
9) Drag the Chain lock through a maze landing on buttons to open various gates blocking the paths.
10) Complete the center medallion by maneuvering the four jeweled tokens.
This Collector's Edition has 15 Developer's Diary pictures, 11 Concept Art pictures, 8 Wallpapers, 10 Collectible Character Figures, 6 Match 3 levels, 6 Music Soundtracks, 37 Achievements, Collectible Morphing Puzzle pieces which will create 4 different Screensavers, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed playing this Match 3 Game tour through Greece. You can even read interesting facts about some of the well known attractions throughout the country. Most of the features are the same as Travel Riddles: Italy and Travel Riddles: India, the goal is to collect artifacts by "dropping" fragments off of the board as you make matches of at least 3 identical tiles. You can choose to play in a Timed mode or Relaxed mode, however you will not earn stars in the Relaxed mode.
Most of the levels have goals of matching a specific amount of a specific tile type, but some of the levels require you to make a specific amount of points or collect a specific amount of gold coins. Matches of 4 tiles will give you a diamond that can be used to match any other tile, and removing all diamonds will give you a better score. Matches of 5 tiles will earn a Mighty Bomb which clears a group of tiles on the board, and as you progress, other powerups will be available. You can purchase Power ups in the Shop with the coins you earn playing as well, and most of the bonuses have the capability of destroying blocked tiles such as chains or wooden crates. Time to check out Athens, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I admit that I gave up on this extremely challenging game about 15 minutes into the demo. Why? Because my brain hurts, there's barely a tutorial, there's no hint system whatsoever, there's not even a feature to point you in the right direction, and I couldn't figure out what to do within the zoomed in zones. The tutorial explains a few very basic features in the beginning. You can pick up certain items, but you must place them into the inventory bar yourself. The tutorial also shows you how to pick up the item from your inventory bar and use that item in the scene. The last thing it shows you is how to combine items, by placing one item into the inventory bar, then picking up the second item and placing the second item onto the same square as the first item which automatically combines the two items. (there's no indication marker on items that can be combined) That's it as far as the tutorial goes, everything else you must figure out on your own. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what to do once I found the item the zoom zone indicated I need. For example, the note in the zoom zone says the gemstone to the ring (also shown) is missing somewhere in the bedroom. I found the key to unlock the bedroom door, and I eventually found the gemstone in the bedroom but when I returned to the zoom zone I realized that the inventory bar isn't available, so I tried picking up the gemstone before I zoomed into the scene but that didn't work either. Finally I tried to pick up the empty ring itself to no avail, frustrated, I moved on to discovering new scenes. As soon as I came across the next zoom zone with the same dilemma, I cried Uncle and deleted the game!
I don't recommend this game.

This game is the same as Great Secrets: Nostradamus, there's nothing exciting about this Hidden Object Puzzle game, the graphics are grainy, the story is merely written pages of a diary, and the same scene is repeated four times before you get to move on to another scene. Granted each time you revisit the scene it's a different type of puzzle, the first is a typical listed item find, the second time you have to find 10 birds or 10 apples, the third time is a "spot the difference" puzzle where you find 10 differences between a split screen and the fourth and final time you revisit the scene you must flip over two cards at a time in a memory game where you must match identical images. This game was too boring to even finish the demo.
I don't recommend this game.

This is my least favorite type of Match 3 game where you click and drag identical items in a chain formation. To make matters worse, the game itself has no wow factor, it's just a repetitive match game matching of the same ingredients, almonds, peanuts, hazelnuts, vanilla, walnuts, sugar etc. in specific amounts shown. I will say however, that the graphics are phenomenal, something you'd expect from Timothy Burton. There are also a few mini games in between levels such as a Hidden Object Puzzle or a game of "pipes where you are tasked with rotating pipes from the top to the bottom before the slowly oozing chocolate spews out from any pipe that hasn't been placed or has been placed incorrectly. I have to pass on this Match 3 game, mostly because it's a Chain type, click and drag match 3 game.
I don't recommend this game.

It's been a year since the Princess saved her country and her father from doom, and she began to get restless for another adventure. You should be careful what you wish for because low and behold, the evil Queen of Trolls appeared in the blink of an eye and cast a spell upon the Princess! The spell cast a thick, nearly impenetrable fog that surrounded the Princess until she couldn't even seen her own hand in front of her face! The Princess lost her way, until she wandered into an unfamiliar kingdom of gnomes. The entire kingdom welcomed the Princess, but they too have been terrorized by the evil Trolls, and asked for the Princess to help them fight the Trolls. Looks like her wishes for a new adventure are about to come true!
This is a fairly easy Time Management game, it doesn't take a lot of strategy to complete the levels, unlike many TM games, you don't have to select tasks in a specific order to achieve a perfect score with three gold stars. There are the usual tasks, collect food and other resources, clear blocked paths, repair holes, repair wood and stone bridges, build and upgrade Workers houses, Mills for food, Sawmills for wood, Quarries for stone, Mines for Crystals, and even a Fireman's house and a Sorcerers house.
The Sorcerer needs a house built before she can cast spells, plant magic seeds, and restore the magic tree. Once her house has been built, she will need magic crystals to plant the seeds. Once she has planted the seeds, they will need to be watered, which requires a Fireman, the Fireman requires a house built, once the house has been built, the fireman needs a clear path to the water source, and so forth. The Fireman is also used to chase away the merryman who annoys the workers and prevents them from passing. Each level gives you a new task to complete such as repairing Stonehenge, or repairing a Beehive so the bees will go home. As you progress, new bonuses are added to help you achieve your goals such as Swift feet which briefly give the workers supersonic speed, or Extra Resources, these bonuses will recharge automatically and you'll want to use them as often as possible because the levels are designed to include the use of them to achieve expert time status, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I absolutely love the beautiful hand drawn graphics of the Elven realms in this edition of The Far Kingdoms Solitaire game. This is a Higher/Lower type solitaire where you play either one card higher or one card lower than the foundation card regardless of suit. You can choose from three different card designs and four face card styles, there is also a Widescreen option, however, when I selected this option, it didn't change the fact that there are wide black fill in strips on both sides of the screen.
An Earthquake has destroyed the elven kingdom and the Elven Queen has asked for your help to restore the kingdom to it's former glory, playing magic solitaire of course. To rebuild the Kingdom, you will need Elven Crystals which are collected each time you play a game of solitaire. Combos of 5 or more will fill up the multiplier bar which will earn more crystals. As you progress, some of the cards are blocked with various obstacles such as chains and locks which will require finding a "key" card hidden under other cards. You will earn Wild Cards that are face value specific, in other words a number 2 card can only be used as a number two face value. Some cards you uncover have extra crystals, some will flip over a face down card, some will fill the undo feature as well.
Once you have collected enough crystals, you can purchase items to rebuild the kingdom, starting with the Druid Shield that will give you a deck of magic cards to begin your training. Each building you construct will give you some type of bonus such as the Sword of Glory which can be used to remove any single face up card on the board or The Wheel of Time which gives you an extra undo option. You must first get the blueprints and construct them in the form of a very easy jigsaw puzzle. Throughout the game you will collect 10 Magic Spark Relic Artifacts that will restore the Sacred Garden and the Sacred Tree within the grove.
This is a really good Solitaire game with a lot of good features. The graphics are hand drawn and very beautiful. My favorite solitaire game is still The Chronicles of Emerland but this game was an immediate purchase for this solitaire geek, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

You know it's a great game when the demo ends and you were so into the game that it surprises you! There are so many things to do in this game that you can't possibly get bored. Each statue has 14 levels and when you complete the levels you are awarded a heart and when all the hearts are collected the truth will be revealed about who you really are! There is no time limit but you are awarded if you reach bronze, silver, or gold times, you can also re-play the level to try to earn a higher score. The money you earn can be used to buy upgrades in the shop and there are way too many available to list so I suggest you start playing, enjoy!

After being deemed insane, sent to the Manchester Institute, and placed in the same cell that Alister Dalimar once called home, it's apparent that this situation is impossible for the sane to understand! Looks like you're going to be here a while, good thing there's plenty of books here to occupy the time, 1001 Straitjacket knots, Going Nuts 101 and Never lose an argument with yourself ( my personal favorite) Snap out of it! There's a real madman out there and his diabolical plan to become immortal must be thwarted, for good this time! Alister Dalimar has stood the test of time for ages, and his crazy granddaughter's Charlotte and Gwendolyn, are equally as disturbing, this bloodline must end before it's too late! It's time to unlock the secrets hidden behind the doors of the House That Love Built, the Key to Alister's soul must be broken for eternity.
I still have one complaint with my favorite MCF game, well maybe two. I miss the fantastic Morphs that this series is known for, and the collectible Ravens in the last episode were so much better than collecting the 40 Lighthouses in this episode. (Collector's Edition only) At least they brought back Alister's Enigma with those progressively difficult puzzles to tinker with, and of course there are a ton of Plus sign inventory items to combine.
The Hidden Object Scenes are really entertaining, ranging from interactive list finds, to progressive silhouetted shapes where you find items that match the silhouetted shapes and then use the items within the scene, solving various puzzles and zoom zone mini HOP's. To put it lightly, they are fantastic.
The Mini Games are the feature that makes MCF stand out from the other HOPA games, they are clever, fun, multi-layered and yes even far to complicated at times. The following is a list of brief descriptions of some of the games you will encounter:
1) Rotate 4 triangles to achieve the correct shapes shown.
2) Correctly arrange dolls according to their disorders.
3) Connect wires with matching symbols.
4) Move a token along every line without overlapping.
5) A Pac-Man type game where you move your choice of character to gather all pills without being caught.
6) Move tokens to their matching slots.
7) Enter the code on the keypad using a diagram.
The Collector's Edition has 11 Achievements, 15 replayable Hidden Object Puzzles, 21 replayable Puzzles, 10 Movie Videos, 8 Concept Art photos, 8 Wallpapers, Behind the scenes, 7 Music Soundtracks, 40 Collectible Lighthouses, a Souvenir Room, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!
