Normally I'm not a fan of Mahjong, however this game has six different Mahjong modes to choose from, one of which appealed to my inner puzzle geekiness! The first "Temple" you visit has the Traditional Mahjong style where you match two identical tiles that aren't blocked by other tiles. After a few levels where you can earn up to three gold stars, you will receive a Key to unlock the next Temple with a different style of Mahjong. The second Temple has Match Mahjong where you match tiles on the board with those shown in the frame at the bottom. The third Temple has Slide Mode which is the most entertaining Mahjong game I've ever played. The goal is to slide free Mahjong tiles until they bump into their matching tile to eliminate them. Now this may sound easy, but you will have to use other tiles as bumpers in order to get the tiles into position, and the 3D layers of some layouts will cause the tile to drop down instead of sliding. There's also a Rivers Mode, a Numbers Mode and a Triple Mode, but I spent the rest of my demo time playing the Slide Mode, I'm telling you it's super fun, and the first Mahjong game I've ever had to put actual thought into. I can't wait to get back to my download and finish what I started, enjoy!

It's a road trip to Granny's house! Rut Row, all roads are blocked, and little Jake is complaining he feels strange. You get out of your car to investigate the fallen tree blocking the road, tell Jake to stay put, and the next thing you know, he's heading towards the manor up the road! Somehow Jake manages to get inside the manor while you are still trying to figure out complicated locking mechanisms and scrambling around searching for passwords! Once inside, you are dismayed to find the place in shambles, even weirder, this manor was used for paranormal experiments but everyone's vanished. What happened here and why is Jake acting so strange?
I love this game and I love the computer generated graphics. The devs put a lot of thought into this game, and there are so many different locations to visit, this place goes on forever! The clues you discover will be held in your journal, you will need to refer to the journal because these games require those clues, and there's no hand holding in this game, you'll have to think about most games and tasks....and that I also love!
There aren't any HOP's that I've seen so far, but the mini games are crazy fresh and crazy entertaining. Below are some brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Line up the first leaflet page onto the second page to receive clues that align with the holes.
2) Flip several switches in the correct order.
3) Set the password using the encryption wheel in the center, refer to your journal.
4) Untangle the dots so that no line intersects, and there are a ton of em.
You will need to use the map as well as the journal, and this is one of the best games you have played in a long time, enjoy!

The "Wild" Bill Killwood has arrived in Dodge City to prosper the easy way, by stealing it! Sheriff McColt has asked for Marshall Maverick's help catching this notorious bandit, but the West is Wild and Bill Killwood is even wilder. To nap this bad boy, you'll need to search Hidden Object Scenes for clues, and Match 3 games to earn some money.
I would have loved this Match 3 game if it wasn't a Click and Drag type match game which is my least favorite, requiring you to click on one tile and drag a continuous line up, down, left, right and even diagonally to match as many tiles as possible, within Limited Moves. You will earn more money for large matches and if the chain is really large, you earn a stick of dynamite at the end of the chain which can be used by clicking it or including it in another chain.
This game reminds me of Golden Trails a little bit, which even has a Bandit Shooting Gallery game very similar to GT. You can purchase power-ups in the Shop, and upgrade the power-ups as well, however, you will have to reload them once you use them:
Tomahawk which removes horizontal and vertical lines. Lantern which destroys a 5x5 square. Rifle which destroys 5 random chips. TNT which destroys the entire board Dynamite destroys chips in a 5x5 cross Bomb destroys a 5x5 square
There are the typical obstructions, Wooden Crates, Chains and even Double Chains to break by making matches of the same tiles chained or making matches near the obstructions. I think this would have been an awesome game if it were a regular Match 3 Game, enjoy partner!
The mountain town of Glockenverk is in the grip of a dramatic and deadly cold spell. Set out with your trusty feline friend, Mr. Jenkins, to crack the case!

Heinrich Glockenverk is one of the finest watchmakers in the country. After losing his beloved son, he worked day and night perfecting his finest time piece, a clock that would turn back the hands of time and return his son to his loving arms. However, Father Time has no intention of rewinding time for a mere mortal, and now the entire town is experiencing the wrath of Mother Nature as well, as she shows her fury by turning everything to ice. Even the animals themselves aren't spared as they begin morphing into vicious ice creatures that can only be stopped......by a watch?????
Detective Leia has returned, as has the even more famous detective, Mr. Jenkins, and thankfully Leia has been equipped with a Watch that's able to reverse the frozen wicked beasts back to their original state. The Collector's Edition has some very unusual Achievements to earn throughout as well as Collectible Glass Snowflakes that can be used to upgrade each of the 11 Collectible Animals you come across.
The Hidden Object Puzzles are very entertaining, but I was disappointed with the fact that some scenes are repeated, which becomes very boring in my opinion. There are interactive list finds, silhouetted shape finds, and even scenes where you uncover pairs of items. You can also opt for a Match 3 game if you're not into HOP's.
The Mini Games are well done, but very easy. I've listed some brief descriptions below of some of the games you will encounter during the demo:
1) Cross the rope when the balls are in the center circle. 2) Place keys in the correct spots according to their silhouetted shapes. 3) Find the correct positions for each pin to open the lock, using up and down arrows. 4) Study the tokens, then make matches of items after the tokens flip over. 5) Place Roman Numerals on a clock correctly. 6) Using the clues given, place the weights on the correct scales. 7) Each time you use the Watch you must create a solid path for the animal to follow from beginning to end.
The Collector's Edition has 4 levels of Game Dots, 11 Collectible and upgradable Animals, Collectible Glass Snowflakes, 4 Music Soundtracks, 8 Concept Art pictures, 8 Developer's Diary pages, 6 Wallpapers, 25 very unusual Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter. This game disappointed me because first of all the graphics were overwhelmingly blue, the storyline is just another watchmaker trying to bring his son back to life, and the gameplay was way to simplified.

I loved the game Beyond which was an instant buy for me when it first debuted, and I'm a fan of most MH games and I applaud their success with Beyond, a game that wasn't expected to appeal to so many gamers. Okay....but that game was unique, a refreshing sci-fi change of pace. Just because you use the same exact music, the same exact barn, the same exact water tower, the same exact alien catches the barn on fire scenario, the same map style and the same features in this game, it doesn't mean that Heart of the Storm will be as successful. In my opinion, they made the entrance to the town scene almost to the tee of the town in Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek. It makes it seem like a knockoff, like they scrambled to put together a game using patchwork pieces of other games. Seems lazy when you think about it. I also have to question how long this game would actually be, because the demo is very short.
The graphics are confusing to me, some buildings are very detailed, others blurry, the characters are spot on but everything else is large and cartoonish, some items don't make sense such as the two boulders (shown in two different scenes) with faces. The storyline is interesting enough, but judging by the demo, there's nothing new here, a malevolent spirit from a nearby Ancient Temple is causing an environmental phenomena, AKA, the storm of the century. The only prop you get is a smartphone, which in my opinion makes a game more realistic, which will be used as a journal to store clues found, a camera to take important pictures, a flashlight, and of course you will be able to make and receive phone calls. Many of the inventory items are complex which require some type of interaction before they can be used, and there are 14 Achievements to earn throughout the game. Every scene has a Collectible Hunt symbol to search for, and has an Icon to keep track of which scenes still have a Collectible to find.
The Hidden Object Scenes also seem cartoonish, with large bulky items to search for within Interactive List Finds, finding Multiples of several silhouetted shape items, or finding items that match their identical pictures as shown on the inventory bar which releases the final item by carving a tree with each item found. Each Hidden Object Puzzle has a Morphing Object, and there is an Icon for this feature as well.
The Mini Games are far and few between, and are very easy puzzles to solve, but that's okay in my opinion as long as they are somewhat entertaining. The following are brief descriptions of the games you will encounter during the demo:
1) Type in the correct password to access the computer, then arrange folders by swapping them to their correct places turning all folders green.
2) Lead the power from the source to the target by rotating tiles to connect the wires.
3) Clear all chalk blots from the board by dragging an uninterrupted line of two or more blots of the same color using cardinal directions.
This Collector's Edition has 44 Collectible Hunt symbols, 14 Achievements, 17 replayable Hidden Object Puzzles, 17 Morphing Objects within the HOP's, 16 Concept Art pictures, 20 Wallpapers, 9 Music Soundtracks, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Meet Claude Ward, the famous composer, Norman Ward the burly hunter, Lisbeth Ward a painter, and a very good one, and Abigail Ward, an Herbalist, your kinfolk. You've never met these family members before, where have they been all these years? This is one family reunion you may never forget, this is one family reunion you may never survive! These eccentric Ward's have skeletons in their closets, can you escape the Ward Manor without adding to their collection?
I'm still a Phantasmat fan, the games in this series just get better and better, (but I still love the original story the best) This game will not disappoint you, the graphics are stunning, and what a great story! The Collector's Edition has 42 Collectible 3D Rocking Horses, 20 Morphing Objects, and plenty of Achievements to earn. Each chilling chapter will shed light upon each family member, including little Thomas who seems to be feared by everyone.
The Hidden Object Scenes are just as creepy as the Ward family, with a variety of styles to please just about any HOP fan. There are multiple finds that open up a tool of some sort to be used upon the item shown which will then open up a listed item finds. Some have small puzzles to solve, silhouetted shape finds, morphing object finds and even progressive interactive finds where you find the first item and use that item interactively in the scene to expose the next item and so forth. There is an optional Match 3 game as well.
The Mini Games are decent, but tend to be on the side of easy and not very complex, within the demo itself, but I will admit that after the demo the games become more difficult and more entertaining. Below is a list with brief descriptions of some of the games you will encounter within the demo:
1) Drag tiles and rearrange them to form a complete image on three cylinders. 2) Select symbols and bells in the correct order. 3) Spin outer and inner circles to form an image. 4) Put moths in their correct places to match their descriptions, then select the numbers on the panel to match the result of each equation. 5) Drog all matching plates into the correct areas based on their symbols, using arrows. 6) Select a clock hand and select any of the two rotation buttons to move it, and arrange them so that the hands are in the correct quarters based on the picture.
The Collector's Edition has 10 Music Soundtracks, 16 Videos, 7 Characters, a Souvenir Room, 8 Wallpapers, 12 Concept Art pictures, 42 Collectible Rocking Horses, 20 Morphing Objects, 14 Achievements, 20 replayable Puzzles, 18 replayable HOP's, replayable Match 3 games, Bonus Videos, a Bonus Chapter and a built in Strategy Guide, This is one game that will chill ya to the bone, enjoy!

Many years ago, the Architects and Guardians created many fantastic Worlds. One of the Architects was deeply in love, but the woman he loved fell ill and perished, leaving him bitter and desperate, desperate to resurrect her! This feat bears a heavy price however, the destruction of Gaudium and it's Queen who is the Keeper of the Dark Ruby which is capable of destructing this world. Elemental Monsters have been sent to Gaudium and are creating havoc of epic proportions, as a Guardian, Grace must find the strength to defeat the Dark Architect and his minions before their entire world disappears into nothingness.
My favorite feature of the Reflections of Life series is finding the 65 Observers, those one eyed creatures that love to hide in plain sight. There is a tab on the left of the screen that will let you know when all have been found in the scene, if you haven't found them all, you won't get the chance to go back to some locations when they have been completed. You will also be equipped with an Architect Lense that will allow you to discover hidden places, but each lense can only be used once. There is a Mini Game associated with the Lense, swapping pie shaped pieces to create an image. Eventually you will receive an Amulet that will help you translate the ancient languages, which also has a Mini Game associated with it where you recreate symbols by dragging several segments until completed. Many of the Plus Sign inventory items also have small puzzles to solve and there are 15 Achievements to earn, as well as your trust Owl to help you out with items out of reach.
There are several smaller Zoom Zone Hidden Object Scenes, and the main HOP's come in several variations. There are interactive List finds, scenes requiring you to replace the items back into the scene, finding items that match the descriptions given, finding multiples of a single item and even an interactive play where you find items within three different play scenes, switching back and forth between acts to find and place items related to the story being told. You can choose to play a Match 3 game instead of most of the HOP's.
The Mini Games are in abundance, some of which are very clever. The following are brief descriptions of some of the games you will play during the demo:
1) Set 6 candles straight, clicking on one affects others.
2) Recreate the color and pattern shown using specific colors in a specific order.
3) Swap tiles to create a portrait image.
4) Use a torch to melt the ice in a specific pattern.
5) Fight the Elemental monster using the correct shield, then the sword to attack.
6) Rotate tiles to restore the image.
7) Place broken mirror shards correctly.
8) Swap tokens to match their color coded slots.
9) Rotate and swap flower petals so all flowers are uniform in color.
10) Complete the scene using sliders to control the position, size and rotation of the images.
11) Rotate the rims to make the pieces correspond with the continents.
12) Swap facial features to match the masks shown on each bust.
13) Paint each window segment with the color shown on the center segment.
This Collector's Edition has 15 Achievements, 65 hidden Observers, replayable Hidden Object Scenes and Mini Games, Match 3 Games, 8 Music Soundtracks, Movies, 10 Wallpapers, 3 Lucky Gifts, two Bonus Chapters: Liberation and Magic Sight, and a built in Strategy Guide, enjoy!

This game has the weirdness story I've seen in a long time, Sherlock Steel is aging at a rapid pace, the price of the elixir needed to restore his youthful vitality is astronomical, but his daughter Rachel is in luck. A new client, Puss-n-Boots, has just walked through the doors of the detective agency with promises of incredible wealth if Rachel can return his wife Beauty (who seems to depict the character of Jessica Rabbit) from her abductor, known as the Mystic. You'll find yourself battling against some unusual and very cheesy characters, and meet familiar faces in a whole different light such as Rapunzel who is a bartender, naturally.
No worries, Sherlock Steel's faithful assistant Vincent has agreed to help you solve this case. Vincent is kind of weasley, literally, I think he might be a ferret, weasel or perhaps a meerkat?? You'll also have the famous Magic Magnifier, that will help you to locate secret hidden compartments, the magnifier turns red when you near the compartment and blue when you're too far away.
The Hidden Object Scenes are really impressive, they are all interactive list finds, but the cursor doesn't change into a hand to indicate where something can be picked up or opened, you'll have to use logic to figure out what needs to be done. A few of the scenes are on the dark side, and some of the scenes are repeated in the same place.
The Mini Games are really easy and not as impressive as the HOP's such as sliding puzzle strips to complete and image, Swap sword fragments to match their hilts, spot the difference and even an interactive play where you find missing elements within the scene.
No, this game won't win any awards, and it's not going to be able to compete with the CE games available, but it's an entertaining adventure with a whole lot of weirdness, enjoy!

I found this game to have unappealing graphics, and quite frankly I found it boring with very few unique features. The game mechanics were clunky and archaically slow moving even when I changed the resolution quality to it's lowest settings. The object with most levels is to clear all silver tiles, and some of the tiles have locks or double locks. There are some "blocker" tiles which cannot be moved to make life a little harder. Levels that have a spinning cog above them have a bonus to unlock such as a Gem bomb. Again, I found nothing unusual in this Match 3 game and I especially didn't like the steampunk gem theme.

At first the features piqued my interest, each level has four successive stages, each stage more difficult that the previous one, which will earn you more XP points. But I found out that by the fourth stage of the level, I was so bored I didn't want to play any more. It's the same level, same tasks, but you get less time, and each level has a specific amount of moves to complete the tasks. The game has very large and cartoonish graphics, making me wonder if this game was designed for kids. The tasks are the usual, collect food and resources, some of the tasks are a bit different, such as when cutting down a tree, if the first tree is cut down first, it will knock down the other trees because of the way the tree leans. There just isn't enough "fun factor" in this game to make me want to continue playing.
