Dr. Blackmore has returned and he's just as creepy as the last time. This mad scientist is half creepy dude and half octopus, which makes no sense to me other than giving him the ability to use those long tentacles to reach into cracks and crevices and grab things away from you. How is he able to have a tentacle in every scene? I move through 12 different scenes and he's got a tentacle coming through the ceiling of every scene, how's that possible? Anyway, the doctor managed to elude you in The Greenhills Sanitarium, he escaped an took your beloved, Tim with him for reasons not yet disclosed. Each room or ward in this game is a reflection of Dr. Blackmore's warped mind, I'm not sure if these are Fears From his Childhood or your's, they aren't scary, but they are bizaar!
The Hidden Object Scenes are just as strange, the scenes are cluttered with random junk, none of which make sense either. There's a silhouette of a guitar in a distant tree, or a watermelon in a wheelbarrow next to an alligator!?! The scenes tend to be somewhat blurry, my guess is that it's deliberate to try to make items harder to find, but who know's?
The Mini Games aren't that bad, at least they make sense. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Correctly place all stalactites and stalagmites by right clicking to rotate fragments until they fit.
2) Click on square tiles to change the image until you create a complete face, and repeat until all puzzles have been solved.
3) Use the mushroom board to eliminate the poisonous ones, moving the board so that 3 mushrooms are in their holes . The Collector's Edition has Wallpapers, Screensavers, Concept Art, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, which doesn't seem worth it because the game is easy enough to figure out without using the SG, and the Bonus Chapter can't be much better than the game itself so if you have to choose one, stick to this Standard Edition.

This Mahjong game is exactly the same as the last one by this dev, and the one before that and the one before that. They simply change the theme of the tiles and that's all, everything else is the same, same goals, same layouts, same boring Mahjong. This Journey is a "fairytale" journey with dragons, unicorns and fairy tiles, but there is no story as the title would lead you to believe. There are 6 Rooms and each room has about 20 levels each, the goals are the same each time with different numbers to achieve to earn 3 Keys, and unlock the next level. You must remove all Gold Tiles, the faster you remove tiles and the more regular tiles remaining will give you a higher score. You earn two more keys if you score a certain amount of points, and if you remove all Gold Tiles within a specific amount of moves. Earning 3 keys is harder than it looks because it's almost impossible to score enough points because the Gold Tiles are buried and the only way to match gold tiles with gold tiles is to use the shuffle feature several times which cuts down on your points. Removing Silver tiles recharge the shuffle feature immediately, but most levels end up in a stalemate with no matches available forcing you to use the shuffle more than once. You can replay the level as often as you want to try to achieve a better score, but the levels are boring, especially when you constantly run out of available moves, so there's nothing exciting to entice me to replay the same level. There is an Icon on the bottom left of the screen that allows you to shade all blocked tile, but that's it in a nutshell, same game, same features, same goals, so pick a theme from these devs because there's nothing different other than the theme.

When you play with fire, chances are you're gonna get burned. When Bob Price proposed to his girlfriend Arlene, she consulted the spirits to give her guidance, and she got burned. Bob never heard from Arlene again, until the day came that he proposed to Sarah. Bob presented Sarah with a necklace that has been in his family for generations, but unbeknownst to him, a portal to the underworld has been opened and lost souls are pouring through, including a scorned ex-fiance!
The storyline is a bit cheesy, and certainly isn't a new plot, but the graphics are fantastic and the game is entertaining enough to overlook the "been there, done that" factor. You will receive an Amulet that seems to annoy the spirits more than anything else, and each time it's used, you will play a click and drag Match 3 type game where you make matches of each icon shown with specific amounts for each token. There are 25 Hidden Bats, which are rather large in size, and there are 9 Hidden Character Figurines that are hidden much better than the Bats. There are the usual Achievements to earn including an Achievement for answering a few easy questions about the game itself as you progress.
The Hidden Object Scenes aren't bad, but not very creative in my opinion. Most are Multiple Finds, or Fragment Finds, but I did enjoy the Interactive List Find where you had to click on items that matched the list as the item were floating down a stream at a fairly fast clip.
The Mini Games are very doable, some were way too easy, but most offer a good variety. The following are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Pull all rings open by selecting them in the correct order.
2) Arrange boards on a grid so that all boards fit without overlapping.
3) Find Objects shown at the bottom of each page in a storybook.
4) Rearrange the parts so each doll is in front of the appropriate scene.
5) Swap the tokens so each one is hanging from its matching pattern.
This Collector's Edition has 6 Music Soundtracks, 18 Wallpapers, 24 Concept Art pictures, Videos, 9 Character Figurines, 25 Hidden Bats, Jigsaw Puzzle to assemble, Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

The object of this game is pretty basic and simple, the gameplay itself is not. There are 150 different levels, as you solve one, the next appears so there's no hoops to jump through, no story to hear. You use the different colored marbles located on all 4 sides of the board to shoot at the marbles located inside the playing field. The marbles will only stop when they hit another marble of the edges of the board if there are no marbles to stop it. If you hit a marble of the same color, those marbles will disappear, you can even strategically set the marbles up to destroy several at a time, because there is no time limit you have all the time in the world to think about your next move. Occasionally you will receive Bombs or Lightning that will destroy several marbles in its path. This is a no frills game that gets more difficult with each new level with more marbles added and more colors added each time. You've got to try this game, it really is fun, enjoy!

As far as a virtual slot machine goes, this is great game with beautiful graphics, but far too easy to win. There are 4 different slot machines available: Fire Horse with 72 ways to win a maximum of 25K, Wild Bear Paws with 50 lines to win a maximum of 1K, Lucky Larry's Lobstermania with 25 lines to win a maximum of 100K and Wolf Run 2 with 40 lines to win a maximum of 200K. You can choose denominations of 1 cent, 5 cents or 10 cents and you can change the size of the reels shown from normal to extra large. I played the Wolf Run 2 slot machine for about 15 minutes and won about 90 percent of the spins which boosted my winnings to about 140K. I didn't find any settings that would allow more realistic odds, to me, if I can't lose, what's the point in playing?

The King is very ill and his only hope for recovery depends on you to find and gather a rare Silver Holly found in the caves of another kingdom. As you set out on your journey, many people will come to you with side quests of certain resources they need, which ultimately help you achieve your goals. You get to pick your Avatar and name him or her, choose a cursor style and eventually you'll pick your horse and name her too. There are two modes of difficulty available, Normal and Relaxed which gives you more moves to finish each level.
This Match 3 game has the usual blocked tiles to remove sand, dirt stone, chains, grass, and all red tiles must be cleared to win the level. Once all red tiles have been removed, you can end the game or continue collecting resources to earn the badge for that level. Each level has a Resource Vein that will produce a certain amount of stone, wood or food when matches are made near them, and there are Keys to collect which open up Gold and Silver Treasure Chests. If you make matches in the same order as the sequence shown, you will earn bonus resources. Larger matches will give you power-ups on the board such as Bombs or Amphora's that will explode when clicked to destroy several tiles around it.
Killian the Blacksmith will forge needed tools in exchange for resources that he needs, some of which are necessary to keep you or your horse healthy. You can earn up to three gold stars, and a badge per level, and you can replay the level as often as you want to try for a better score. My only complaint is with the tile icons themselves which I found to be rather bland and unappealing. If the icons were more vivid, this game would have been an awesome Match 3 game, enjoy!

It seems everyone's catching on to the three color mosaic games, just when Mr. Penguin finds a fourth color! This is a very relaxing griddler game, the music is very soothing, the colors are beautiful, and each puzzle makes an obvious picture when completed such as a Sailboat, a Blowfish or a Sea Turtle. The object of this game is the same as other mosaics or griddler games, fill in the cells with the correct numbers as shown on both the columns and rows. Each group of numbers must be separated by at least one empty cell. Sometimes it's easier to figure out which cells can't possible be filled in, to reduce the possible filled cells. Some cells contain extra hints, some contain coins that can be used to upgrade your royal Kingdom, which can be accessed at anytime by clicking on the castle icon located on the top left of the screen. If you get stuck, you can switch to another color, use an available hint, or, once the Amulet has been fully charged, you can get a mega hint which fills in four random cells for you!
I love the colorful graphics, especially the puzzles that are in the sea, it's kind of like a live wallpaper where all the sea creatures swim around. There are 4 different Kingdoms you will solve puzzles in that represent the four elements, Water, Air, Fire and Earth. I'm really impressed with this mosaic game, I love the themes and the puzzles aren't too hard or too easy, so give it a try, enjoy!

This is one of those games that doesn't age well, more than likely because of the hand drawn graphics which make it appear older. I found this game to be just plain ole bazaar, and none of the storyline makes sense. Dr. Blackmore escaped The Green Hills Sanatorium taking with him your beloved Tim. You followed them through a portal (doesn't make sense does it?) where each ward is a reflection of the doctor's warped mind. One minute you're in outer space, the next a forest with cutsie animals and a squirrel who's able to juggle!

Queen Pasiphae gave birth to King Minos' first born son, but an angry Poseidon had cursed this royal family and their newborn son, a Minotaur! As he matured, the Minotaur became so monstrous, that King Minos had a labyrinth built to contain him. Each year the King sent 7 boys and girls to the labyrinth for sacrifice, until Theseus volunteered to kill the beast. The King's daughter Ariadne, fell in love with this brave young man, and she gave him magical Thread to lead him through the labyrinth, along with a sword to defeat the beast. Unfortunately, the sword wasn't strong enough to kill the Minotaur's soul, and the Minotaur's spirit now wanders through the labyrinth as he awaits the Planetary Conjunction. The only one that will be able to stop his resurrection, will be a descendant of Ariadne's, could that be you?
The museum you work for has Ariadne's Thread on display, so naturally you equip yourself with this powerful artifact that will eventually have three different functions, starting with the ability to melt precious metals. The Collector's Edition has quite a few extras available, there are 12 Story Based Achievements and 12 Skill Based Achievements to earn, 10 Morphing Water Lilies and 10 Water Hyacinths to collect as well. There's also a Bug Collection to discover throughout the game with 7 specimens in each category, Butterflies, Fireflies, Night Butterflies and Dragonflies.
The Hidden Object Scenes aren't that impressive in my opinion, but at least they are very interactively based puzzles. There are Multiple Finds where you find several of the same item, Progressive Interactive List finds and Progressive Silhouetted Shape finds where you find an item that matches the silhouetted shape or description, and use that item back into the scene interactively to expose the next item. There are also story based HOP's where you find key words during a story.
The Mini Games aren't bad, but they are extremely simple. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Flip the tiles on several book spines to reveal matching symbol pairs. 2) Correctly place items in a book as a story unfolds. 3) Swap the tokens to complete Ariadne's family tree. 4) Refuel the tanks by swapping tokens of different values to equal the sum of 50. 5) Slide blocks out of the way to move the blue block into position. 6) Listen to Pasiphae's story and complete the interactions to proceed. 7) Complete the image by rotating and swapping the triangle sections, for two different puzzles.
The Collector's Edition has replayable HOP's and Mini Games, 18 Wallpapers, 9 Concept Art pictures, 10 Music Soundtracks, Cutscenes, 7 Collectible Butterflies, 7 Collectible Night Butterflies (isn't that a moth?) 7 Collectible Fireflies, 7 Collectible Dragonflies, 12 Story Based Achievements, 12 Skill Based Achievements, 10 Morphing Water Hyacinths, 10 Morphing Water Lilies, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

It's Princess Lerione's 21st Birthday and her world is about to change forever. Lerione's mother, Queen Alura, has just given her an amulet for her coming of age present, and in the blink of an eye, her entire world changes. The princess has just entered the Shadow World, and soon discovers her mother's past is now her future! An evil villain captured Alura during her coming of age, and a brave prince went to the past to alter the course of events, which prevented Alura from becoming a witch. Now the princess must face many challenges in a world filled with dark magic, she must choose her own path using Light Magic, or Dark Magic, either decision will leave an everlasting imprint on her soul!
The Shadow World is a world of magic, so naturally, Princess Lerione receives a Magic Ball to rid the world of unfriendly Shadow World dwellers. Each time it's used you'll have to choose whether to use Light magic which rids the dwellers without harm, or Dark magic which rids them for good (but in a bad way I suppose) The Royal Wizard let's you borrow his feline counterpart, Sebastian who helps you out by retrieving items only a talking cat can get to. Many of the inventory items have plus signs indicating further action is required before the item can be used, and many of those actions are small puzzles to solve. There are 26 Morphing Objects to discover and 11 Collectible Figurines with bios, throughout your adventure. The graphics are fantastic, and there's all kinds of creatures and things that go bump in the night, nothing really scary, but it's a nice change of pace.
The Hidden Object Puzzles are pretty creative, for example, one HOP has an organ playing skeleton that has you repeating color coded sequences on the organ keys, then throws out pictures of items to find in several stages, between stages you will find his accessories and place them appropriately. There are also interactive list finds with muzzles to solve, silhouetted shape finds, story item finds and even a HOP using a magic revealing lens that shows invisible items.
The Mini Games are just plain ole fun, and in abundance. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Navigate your boat using arrows to avoid obstacles.
2) Tap planks to form stairs, clicking on one plank affects others.
3) Swap tiles to form a complete image for three different images.
4) Change the position of the rabbit on the right to match the rabbit on the left.
5) Carve a bucket out of a pumpkin by dragging the knife along the lines.
6) Put the flowers on the wreath correctly.
7) Hang the beads above the bed according to the clues shown.
This Collector's Edition has 26 Morphing Objects, 11 Collectible Figurines, 8 Music Soundtracks, 8 Wallpapers, 7 Concept Art pictures, VG Team pictures, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
