Sure, it's a fun game and I enjoyed playing the demo but unfortunately, I won't purchase the game nor am I willing to give the game more than a couple of Stars because the developer felt the need to take someone else's unique features from another Match 3 game series and use them in their own game as if it were their idea? Hit the red mark to shoot the Cannon to cause a chain reaction? Hit the Battering Ram to fire a missile? Clear the Mist? What's next spreading fire, moving coin halves?
You can play in a Relaxed Match 2 Mode or a Challenge Mode which requires matching 3 or more Orbs. The tiles are bright and cheerful although I must admit, I had no idea what some of the tiles were, or what they had to do with a summer theme?
The beauty of this Matching Orb game is that there's no Timer so you can take your time to figure out the best strategy. The playing field has an infinite amount of Colored Orbs located on the Top, Bottom, Right, and Left sides (you can only see the colors of 2 Orbs in each row or column) and the object is to remove all of the Orbs by shooting an identical colored orb from any of the parameters at the Orbs to remove them. As you progress, more Orb variations are added to the field and naturally, more obstacles are added as well. Bonuses appear randomly, but they will quickly disappear if they aren't activated by a moving Orb. You can right-click on each bonus to get a brief description, you can also click on the Question Mark to read about all of the features.
OBSTRUCTIONS: *Chains~requires a matching colored orb to break the chain(s) another to remove orbs remaining. *Glass Border~break when hit with an orb. *Wooden Borders~requires a hit by any orb to destroy. *Stone Borders~can only be destroyed by Bonuses. *Metal Borders~cannot be destroyed. *Glass Cells~break when hit with an orb. *Wooden Wall~requires neighboring match or orbs. *Stone Wall~can only be destroyed by Bonuses. *Metal Wall~cannot be destroyed. *Side Shield Crates~requires hit by orb on the unprotected side. *Extra Armor~destroyed when tiles are beneath a neighboring cell. *Mist!~removed when orbs are matched near the mist. *Arrows~redirrects the path of the orb.
BONUSES:(appear & disappear randomly) *Flames~include in a match to detonate an explosion. *Lightning~destroys all of the same color orbs. *Bonus Missile~produces 3 missiles to remove 3 random orbs. *Bonus Bombs~transforms 5 random orbs into bombs. *Bonus Multi-Orbs~transforms 7 random active orbs into multi-orbs that can be matched with any color. *Cross Dynamite~destroys orbs in a cross pattern. *Cross X Dynamite~destroys orbs in an X pattern. *Mines~destroys neighboring cells. *Battering Ram~requires a hit from an orb on the back to destroy the object in front of the ram. *Cannon~requires hitting the red button with an orb to fire the cannon (can be on multiple sides) *Multi-Orbs-can be matched with any orb.
I would have given this game 4-5 Stars if they would have at least added some new features that were their original ideas as well. I don't appreciate the fact that they used ALL of the same identical features from a very well-known Match 3 game series. That's just not right, I happen to love that particular developer and I know that he works very hard to give us quality games that have unique features that he thought up with his own creative mind...just saying :)

If I hadn't stuck with the entire demo, I'd probably only given this game 2-3 Stars because the first few levels were boring and the instructions were some of the most confusing and contradicting instructions I've ever read. But those are the kind of things that only make me more determined, I had to dig my claws in to find out what made this game tick, and to be perfectly honest, an hour and a half later I was still at a loss as to why all of a sudden half of the tiles became Spiderweb encased for seemingly no reason at all in the blink of an eye, and why I can make a large match one minute and not get rewarded with a Power-up, but the next time I do, unless it's because the Power-up falls from the top of the screen?
Anyway, I may not understand all the why's, but I like the weird challenges, I like the unique styles, and I love the 3D graphics! As I said, the first several levels are very plain and boring, the Match 3 board has wooden cells, the icons are wooden crates, shovels, axes, wooden buckets, and lanterns that are all similar in color or texture so everything seemed plain Jane. Then I was tasked with catching fireflies, and they added colorful flowers, toadstools, green leaves, and colorful gems in purple, blue, teal, gold, and pink.
You can play in Relaxed or Timed Mode and choose between an Easy, Normal, or Hard Difficulty mode. The goals vary on each level, you may have to make matches over all Dark Cells, or gather a specified amount of specific Tiles. Some of the levels have objects that are stationary and they can't be moved, it's kind of weird because you can pick them up but they allow you to move them anywhere.
Power-ups include Explosive Fire, Hammers, and Lightning that destroy in various patterns such as vertical or horizontal lines or in a small adjacent radius. Obstacles such as Wooden Boxes may contain hidden objects and may or may not need to be exposed to complete the level. You will rebuild the Dwarven Kingdom that was destroyed in Rune Stones Quest 2, with the resources earned playing the Match 3 levels as well.
This is probably not going to be a Match 3 game that most fans will enjoy. I didn't dig it at first, but the more I played it, the more engaging it became. I think it's worthy of a PCC, it's kept me entertained with the uniqueness of the tasks and I really love the 3D graphics. This is definitely a game I recommend trying the demo first, but you really do need to try the entire demo to give it a fair chance :)

I will always reward a developer for improvements and this little turtle has definitely made some improvements over the last game. The graphics are much clearer and they have finally added a 3-Minute Challenge Mode to go along with the 10-Minute Timed Mode and of course the Relaxed, No-Timer Mode! (I found myself scrambling a few times!) It's like I always say, they can't possibly read minds, they won't know unless we politely say something...and Indies never let me down დ
So now you can play in THREE modes, a Relaxed Untimed Mode, 10-Minute Timed Mode, or a 3-Minute Timed Mode to complete each level. You will earn a single star on each HO location and the next location requires 2-3 stars to unlock it so you will need to replay the previous scenes in order to earn enough stars to progress.
Each scene has a Lazy Turtle to discover (once you find him he won't appear when you replay the same scene) and there are trivia facts before visiting each location. The Lazy Turtle was added a few games ago but I'm still going to push for the actual Lazy Turtle Logo to be used versus the plastic turtle because the Lazy Turtle Logo is one of the coolest logos I've seen. He's an adorable "lazy" turtle wearing a sombrero and leaning up against a palm tree. If they used a semi-transparent image of this logo and hid it in each scene it would be so much better and make much more sense! (free advertising too, never hurts) There are no misclick penalties and you can replay the scenes as often as you'd like, but each time the style changes between Listed Items, Silhouetted Shapes, and my favorite, Scrambled Letter finds. (which ain't as easy as you'd think folks)
My biggest complaint and one of the reason's I'm still leaning on a 4-star and not a 5-star rating is that the items remain in the same position every time you repeat the scene, and most of the time you are tasked with finding the same items over and over. Anyone can master a Hidden Object Scene if they stare at the same pattern 10 times in a row, right?
The Hudson Family's trip locations include: ~Melbourne Railway Station ~Luna Park ~Uluru ~Perth Mint ~Adelaide ~Great Barrier Reef ~Gold Coast ~Tasmania ~Northern Territories ~Canberra ~Dandenong Melbourne ~IBrisbane Koala Sanctuary ~Sydney Harbor Bridge ~Frasier Island ~Sydney, Blue Mountains

The thing that really puts me off in this game other than the cartoonish graphics, is the constant flashing of resources flying up and down to the left corner every time I pick something up, this developer sure does love their bling-a-ding-ding. BTW, what's the point of having HD graphics only to waste it on huge Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble cartoon animations?
Forgive me for being picky, but Time Management games have been bringing some amazing games to the pond lately and those game have really clever features and unique tasks so when I see an ordinary game with the same ordinary tasks that make me pick up the same stupid giant blocks of cheese wheels that are conveniently blocking my tried and true beaten path, it bores me, and it tells me that the developer just isn't thinking outside of the box. Forgive me for wanting something better, forgive me for not wanting the same game with just a different title...again! The only unusual features I'm noticing in this game are defeating Chrono's Skeleton's and turning off Portals, but those are just new to this developer, they aren't new TM features.
You can play in a Relaxed, Normal, or Expert Mode of Difficulty over 70 levels and each level has a Puzzle Rune that unlocks a Bonus Level (as well as a Fragment Jigsaw Puzzle) in each of the Main Levels if all of the Runes have been collected. There are 37 Achievement Trophies and 6 Wallpapers.
In this Collector's Edition version, you can repair 10 Office Items with the Stars you earn on the levels as well, and there is an Interactive Strategy Guide that basically just points to available tasks.
Basically, the SE version appears to offer everything this version has except the Office repairs, you get all the other features, including the Wallpapers, Puzzle Runes, Achievements, etc, so if you like the game, I think I's opt for the cheaper version unless you are picking this one up on a BOGO sale!

Take on new time management challenges and help three young archaeologists unearth the mysteries of the past and piece together the story of the brave Xi Niu!
This "Top Reviewer" is one of our most frequent game reviewers. We think you'll trust what they have to say and find their reviews helpful and informative.
I'm not sure why they give these games to a different developer every time they release a new Time Management Game, but they always have the same MO. Customers come in with a full set of hearts and a pictured thought bubble and it's your job to send them to the correct station and then wait on them hand and foot until they leave, hopefully with either Golden Hearts or more Hearts than what they arrived with.
The problem with this game is that its way to easy, there is no challenge and you are chomping at the bit waiting for someone new to show up or an existing person to need help. The tasks are boring, you are constantly being switched between the current Dig Site and Xi Niu's past wich is equally as boring. If neither of those bored you, throw in some childish, so-called mini-games of dragging buttons back and forth, cutting rice with a sickle, clicking on 5 large objects erasing dirt to pretend to "dig" or rapidly clicking a button, that outta get your heart pounding?
Seriously? Why are they portraying 3 female archeologists making a huge discovery, who seem to have worked hard to get where they are, only to turn around and bring in a team of male archaeologists and make the 3 women bring them every tool or piece of equipment they desire when clearly they could get up and get it just as easily...it's like 2 feet from them! Isn't it a bit ironic that they flashback in time to show a strong-willed Xi Niu? I'm just pointing out the obvious,...

I'm not gonna lie, I've never been a fan of the Walker family Mosaic games. I hated the cartoon sloth and the boring idea of decorating the Walker living room with ridiculous souvenirs on a shelf. I hated the bouncy, glittery tiles that reminded me of gummy bears, I didn't enjoy the constant bells and whistles of all the hoopla every time I filled in a cell, much less completing a group of cells. I don't play Mosaic games to get wound up, I play them to relax and wind down, so I was thrilled when Jet Dogs decided to ditch the Walkers and ditch MOST of the hoopla...but for the life of me I just don't understand why they still feel the need to include all the flashy tiles when you complete a group? Why can't you include an option to shut that off as well for those of us who don't enjoy seizures? When that option is included, so will my 5th Star! (if it is already included, please PM me to tell me how to access it?)
There are 12 different Tile Options like legos, fabric, and lunar, one of my favorites looks like dew drops. If that isn't impressive, there's also 12 Crossed-off (X's) designs to choose from as well, such as Aztec, pawprints, rope knots, and spirals and there's even a Dark Background mode. What I thought was even more brilliant was that they included a 5 x 5 Grid which allows you to see what each tile selection or combination you chose will look like in the game...absolutely genius! I do think it's kinda funny that you get all these tile options but they don't have a Custom Cursor option??
The choices continue with Difficulty Mode options, you can play in an Easy Mode which automatically chooses the color for you, a Normal Mode which crosses off the numbers one by one, a Difficult Mode that crosses off numbers once an entire row or column has been completed, or an Intuitive Mode which is a Zen mode that doesn't count mistakes and allows you to work out the puzzle by changing selections.
You earn Crystals for completing the mosaics, a Blue Crystal for making no mistakes, a Green Crystal for making one mistake, and a Yellow Crystal for making 2 mistakes. At the end of each chapter, you must earn a minimum Yellow status to progress to the next chapter, and you must earn a Green or Blue crystal status to access the 4 Bonus Levels per chapter. To earn a Blue Crystal Status on a Chapter as a whole, you must earn a Blue status on all mosaics within the level. There are 14 Chapters (10 levels each with 4 Bonus Chapters)
On the Mosaic Grids themselves, there is an Eye that hides the grid, a Color Palette to choose the color bubbles, a Finger or X tab to color or cross-off cells (right & left-clicking works too) and a Heart with the number of Lives or Mistakes available (you can earn more lives by correctly filling in cells) There is a tab to access the tile selections as well which allows you to switch choices easily. There are only 2 Power-ups available, a Sun icon that fills in a single cell, or a Hammer which fills in a 5-cell (outlined) radius. The power-ups refill by uncovering hammers and suns on the mosaics.

Completed Game approximately 4.5 hours (including completion of all mini-games & CE Bonus Chapter) 18 Main Game Scene Locations +8 Bonus Chapter Difficulty Range: Beginner
What a long, drawn-out, boring story that makes no sense! Halfway through the story, I was still at a loss as to what the story was actually about. I arrive in a small town for reasons unbeknownst to me, I'm not in the least bit phased that a young man in his physical prime, just met his demise two feet in front of me upon my arrival because he was literally scared to death. Apparently, I don't actually know why I'm in town either because I've just assumed the position of Deputy Sheriff by the Sheriff's sister Amber whose now the acting Sheriff because her brother, the Sheriff, also died from getting the bejeebers scared out of him as well. (and I might add that she doesn't seem to be phased by the fact that her brother just died either, much less at the expense of such weird, extenuating circumstances) Are you just as confused as I am now too? Fast-forward a few scenes later and you'll start having a few hallucinations about giant Basilisks, no wait, that's just a doll, wait, what? who lets their kid play with a Basilisk doll?
☽☾Morphing Objects/Collectibles: (CE version only)☼ There are 26 Morphing Chimeras one per scene, that is actually nicely blended into the scenery, not impossible to spot, but it doesn't slap you in the face either!. Each scene also has either a Scenery OR Zoom-Zone Jigsaw Puzzle Piece (sometimes both) that allows you to assemble Four 12-piece Jigsaw Puzzles. Some of the scenes also have Collectible Basalists Cards with descriptions. My two biggest complaints with Elephant Games is that they never have a Collectibles Indicator Option that tells you if the Collectibles/Morphs have been found in that scene, and they never give you an option to return to the scene to search for any missed Morph or Collectible!
◔Hidden Object Scenes◕ There are only 11 Hidden Object Scenes +7 in the CE Bonus Chapter, + 6 Zoom-Zone HO's. These were some of the least creative, unimaginative, most boring un-Hidden Object Scenes I've ever seen in a HOPA to date! They are located in boring locations (I'm fairly certain most of them were located inside of a chest of some sort) the objects tiny, and at times are difficult to tell what they actually are. Most of the scenes are dark and void of color. Most of the scenes were Interactive List's, but there were a couple of Matching Pair Finds, a Silhouetted Shape Find, a Swatch Find, a Fragment Find, and a couple of Multiples of the Same Object Finds. There wasn't much of a variety, there wasn't any color whatsoever...in fact, one of the scenes required finding objects by sifting through the charred remains after a fire...I kid you not!
♙Mini-Games♙ There are 13 Mini-Games +6 in the CE Bonus Chapter. Many of the games were original or newer games, and way more creative than the HOP's were! Here are some of my personal favorites:
1-Use directional arrows to guide 2 stars to their matching slots (use the stars as bumpers to stop them from moving) 2-Rotate fragment sections into place. 4-Place 3 light spheres so their rays cover the entire grid (x6) 5-Rotate parts to guide the electricity to all the batteries simultaneously. 6-Select directional arrows to move tokens simultaneously thru the maze to electrical barriers & bypass all locks at the same time.
✯Bonus Chapter (Collector's Edition version only)✯ SAY CHEESE, There's a new Sherrif and deputy in town folks! Sherrif Amber has deputized you once again when fowl-play is running a-muck at the county Fun Fair at Serpent Creek in this equally boring chapter that takes place over 8 scenes. Everyone is in a frozen comatose state but honestly, the atmosphere is just as stale as the main game and they both move at a snails' pace leaving a trail of sticky oozy slime behind for the next Elephant games' task (to remove an object from the goo of course) There are 6 mini-games and 8 hidden object scenes and you will complete the final 3 Collectible Basalists Cards, 8 Morphing Chimeras, and 12 Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces which allows you to complete the final 12-piece Jigsaw Puzzle. After completing the Bonus Chapter, you can access the Secret Room where you return to the scene locations to find Objects in a Timed Mode.
♕Collector's Edition Extra's♕ 12 Wallpapers, 12 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 23 Achievements, 13 Replayable Mini-Games,17 Hidden Object Scenes 12 Collectible Basalists Cards (with descriptions) 26 Morphing Chimeras, 48 Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces (Four 12 piece Jigsaw Puzzles) Secret Room (Timed HO Objects) 3 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

It's a little unfair to compare Apples to Oranges, in this case, you are being asked to compare a Standard Edition version that came out in 2015 against a Collector's Edition version that has all the bells and whistles and CE bling that the Standard Edition version would never have included in the first place!
So I ignored the CE bling and downloaded the demo portion of both games to compare both side by side, apples to apples. As far as the graphics go, there's no comparison, the Remastered version win's hands down! The storyline is nearly identical so as far as I'm concerned that's a checkmark for both versions. As for the game's mechanics and how easy it is for the player to learn the basic gameplay, I would have to say the Remastered version is probably more beginner-friendly because you have to make several extra clicking steps on the older game versus the newer game. Finally, the Fun Factor and Challenge Factor which I believe are closely related if not one and the same...if the Remastered version didn't have so many childish tasks requiring me to drag a button back and forth, for example, I may have been blown away by the Remastered graphics or remastered game mechanics, instead, I was left comparing apples to oranges, CE to SE versions and trying to figure out what was actually mastered in the remastered version?
You will complete your residency as Allison Heart in 10 levels of each department of the Hospital such as The Lab, Pediatrics, PreNatal, and Diagnosis. Patients arrive with thought bubbles that indicate the treatment they require and you need to click on the patient and the correct station and treatment before checking them out at the computer. The quicker you treat them, the more heart score they retain. You will earn a higher score for multi-tasking, and if patients achieve a golden heart status, they can no longer lose heart status, You can also send Patients to the water cooler if they begin to lose their heart "patience"
Some items require a single click, other items may require combining several items to match the picture shown, and some items may need to be restocked. Each Level has an option Level Goal that allows you to earn 1 Diamond if the goal is achieved, and you can earn +100 extra points for clicking on Oliver the Guinea Pig when he pops up in each level as well.
There are 60 levels total (Available in 18 Languages with 5 Profile Slots) and 30 Challenge levels which allows you to earn up to 3 Diamonds which are used to purchase Office Items. I would probably consider this as a Standard Edition version, but BF never seems to offer those versions, so I guess it will be a pass for me then!

I still love Mosaic games but I stopped purchasing Fantasy Mosaic Games a while back because they have just become boring repeats. There for a while, they were surprising us with an occasional new feature but now we are getting a FM game every 2 months and they have just become boring. Don't get me wrong, I still love the genre, in fact, I recently played a Detective Agency Mosaic that blew me off of my computer chair, so from now on, all other Mosaic games will have to meet that games standard...this one doesn't come close!
I still recommend Fantasy Mosaics games for beginners, they are still really good mosaic puzzles, but, in my opinion, they are no longer the King of Mosaics. Match Gems needs to come up with something more creative than the current, weak Penguin Family sagas, and ridiculous peek-a-boo rooms. After 41 releases, you can literally replay 30-40 previous releases and still feel like you're playing a new game! The only new features that have been added over the past 41 games, besides upgrading the color graphics, is a multi-color feature (added in game # 4) a Sun power-up (added on game #6) the addition of earning/deducting stars for using hints (on game # 15) two additional color bubbles offering 6 colors vs 4 (on game # 16) an Eye feature to view the background w/out the grid (on game # 18) an interactive garden feature (on game # 21) locked colors (on game # 27) different tile choices (on game # 28) an interactive workshop w/ mini-games (on game # 33) and Zen mode (on game # 34) The Zen Mode has returned for those who prefer to solve the griddlers without all the hand/flipper holding. In Zen Mode, the numbers aren't crossed off but Mistakes aren't counted against you either, because chances are, you'll have to edit some of the cells as you switch between colors. You can delete filled-in or crossed-off cells by right-clicking the cell in Zen Mode, and you'll know you have completed a particular color correctly because a checkmark will appear on the color bubble.
You can play in a Casual Mode which crosses off the cells one by one, or the Advanced Mode, which only crosses off the remaining cells once the entire row and column have been filled in. You will earn a Gold trophy if you make no mistakes, a Silver trophy if you make one mistake, and a Bronze trophy if you make two mistakes. You will also earn up to three gold Stars if you don't use any hints, one star is deducted each time you use a hint. Therefore, it is possible to make a mistake or two but still earn 3 stars as long as you don't use any available hints.
There are 20 locations, and each location has 5 Griddlers and an additional mini-game. You can choose from 7 different tile sets, ranging in color vibrancy and styles. Locked Colors can be disabled in the Settings menu, otherwise, some of the colors are locked and unavailable until you uncover color-specific keys that are hidden beneath some of the filled-in cells The Eye feature allows you to hide the grid to get a look at the puzzle without all the grid lines, and there is a reset icon that makes it much easier to restart the level if you make a mistake.
There are groups of numbers located on each column and row of the grid, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one blank or crossed off cell. Sometimes it's easier to cross-off cells that can't possibly contain a filled-in cell, which will reduce the number of cells and narrow the playing field down a bit, when you get stuck, you can switch colors and work back and forth until it's solved.
Some of the cells contain bonuses such as extra hints, extra mistakes allowed or an extra pickax which allows you to choose which cell you want a hint on, and some cells contain keys to unlock colors (unless you disable this feature in settings) There is a Sun icon as well that when fully charged, will give you a mega-hint, filling in or crossing off a 3x3 area of your choice.
