I played part of the demo. I didn't like the HOS nor the way the hint worked. There is basically a very boring story which didn't drag me in. The graphics are very dull -- I like beautiful. I hated the music. i'm not sure who would like this -- obviously some did.
I always advise to play the demo before any purchase. Not wasting my time or money on this.
I don't recommend this game.

Tales of Terror: House on the Hill
Find your sister and escape from a terrifying haunted house!
This is based on completion of the SE in casual mode. I was a bit disappointed with the ending. There was a lot of mystery still left unanswered.
The visual was okay -- a bit dark in some areas. The sound was okay. Nothing really wrong with either.
The story was okay, but not the ending.
The puzzles are a little different so if you like challenging puzzles you will love these. I skipped quiet a few. The instructions were not as clear as they could have been.
At this time there is no walk through which would have been great especially in solving some of the puzzles. I really wanted to learn how to solve them.
The HOS are very easy IMHO and some are repeated twice. Not as many HOS as I like.
The hint button recharges fairly quickly in the casual mode and works outside the HOS by either pointing to where an object is to pick up or it gives directional arrows. I really liked the hint.
There is an interactive map showing an exclamation mark where there is something to do and then it transports you there. Very helpful.
I did stumble a couple of times but with a little sleep I figured how to water the Venus fly trap. Go to the forum if you get stuck here too.
All in all it was a pretty short game which disappointed me at the end. Please play the demo and read a few reviews before you purchase. This is not the best game out there and although it had some features I look for in a game I was sorry I'd wasted a free game purchasing it.
I don't recommend this game.

Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison
Help Kiera Vale discover her ancestor’s history as she explores Blackwater Asylum in Nightmare Adventures: The Witch’s Prison!
This is based on the completion of the demo. Apparently I had played the demo before today because I only had 30 minutes left to play. However I was disappointed when it said the demo was over and I still had 17 minutes still on the clock.
This is a gloomy game. The hint outside the HOS doesn't give directions which is a disappointment because there isn't a map with any clues. I guess I'm pretty lazy LOL. However if you need additional help there is a walk through.
Play the demo and read some reviews. Additional information is in the Forum.
I don't recommend this game.

Robin's Island Adventure
Escape from a deserted island in this fun and exciting Hidden Object game! Survive in the dangerous jungle and make it home!
This is based on the demo. First I turned off the sound -- irritating. Next the humming of the little girl was cute the first time I heard it but after awhile that irritated me also.
This is a cute game although not as easy as I expected due to its childlike characters. There are several different styles of match-3 and even a list-type and find a certain number of hidden object. game.
This just isn't for me.
I recommend this game!

Jewel Match IV
Voyage through a wondrous match-3 adventure as Luna, a recent graduate of the Magic University. Search Varanah for the missing wizard, Ludovic!
This is based on the 60 minute demo. While I felt this was an okay game it just wasn't as fun as I had hoped. I guess I need the wow factor to make me purchase a match-3 game. Nothing wrong with it visually of technically. The music was nice.
I prefer match-3 games like The Treasures of Montezuma and the 3 that follow it.
I recommend this game!

Mishap 2: An Intentional Haunting
This time it’s no Mishap! Help Milton Hobblepop and the Mishap gang stop his greatest rival from imprisoning more spirits!
I wish I had read the walk through before I started the demo. There are so many things to do it's mind boggling! I'm sure die-hard gamers found this challenging but I just found it very busy and I didn't understand everything I was supposed to do.
There are the standard very large lists of items to find in each of the HOS -- 1 HOS in the main room and in each of the other 3 rooms; 1 can of Ultimo Energy to find in each of the 4 scenes; and a number of ghosts to find in each of the 4 scenes; plus there is a puzzle where you piece together numbers, drawings; plus or minus letters next to pictures to complete a challenge like "plunge something in water". Then you have to find those items and do what the challenge message said. Are you confused yet? I was. There are other puzzles at the end of these HOS and challenges but I never made it that far. I finally went to the walk through after I completed the demo and that puzzled also looked to be as convoluted as the rest. I gave up!
Anyway read some reviews, play the demo, and if you're not into very challenging games (like me), look at the walk through.
I don't recommend this game.

Mishap: An Accidental Haunting
The Burtons have just moved into a beautiful new home, which just happens to be haunted. Help them deal with the ghosts!
This is based on partial play of demo. The HOS were good -- items a bit tiny and sometimes obscured by fog or smoke, but still a time consuming good HOS. Within each HOS there were 3 doors which also had a HOS. However the fun stopped there for me.
Then there were the ghosts. They were easy to find. Then there was the riddle which I halfway solved. I figured out what it said, but didn't know how to execute it.
There was a hidden can of something to find in each HOS.
The hint works inside the HOS only.
I think there was other stuff to do but by then I was confused and quit. There were also things that popped up and, at first, made me jump, like the miss-click penalty.
This is just too busy for my taste. Read some reviews and please play the demo. Who knows, you may love it like others submitting reviews. I really didn't like it.
I don't recommend this game.

Goddess Chronicles
Undertake the challenge of becoming a Goddess and earn your place among the Gods in this challenging Hidden Object game.
I love a good HOG but this didn't pull me in to want to buy it, I played about half of the demo and nothing clicked to make me want to continue play -- I just got bored.
No hint outside the HOS and even then you have to collect itty-bitty marbles (I think they were marbles) to add to the hint.
One puzzle I played 3 times!! Just no challenge.
Please play the demo and read a few reviews -- there aren't many -- to make your decision. For me it's a no buy.
I don't recommend this game.

Whispered Legends: Tales of Middleport
Uncover the true cause of the disturbances and track down the disappeared townspeople before darkness falls on Middleport forever!
This is based on completion of the demo which took me 65 minutes of the 90 minutes available. This was on sale only yesterday (for game club members) for $2.99 but I didn't play it until today. I'm not sorry I missed the sale because this is a no buy for me.
There are 4 modes of play. I chose the 4th mode which was custom where I was able to reduce the hint and skip button to 60 minutes -- way longer than I expect from a custom choice. This was especially annoying when wanting to skip a puzzle I didn't want to play. I guess the developers wanted to make the game as long as possible.
I didn't see any new puzzles and the HOS are regular lists for a pile of junk. The items are mostly easy to find with a couple items needing an extra step, like putting together a pair of dice.
Although I liked the story -- detective goes to a coastal community called Middleport to find people who are missing and a scary guy, using black smoke, is suspected, but no one is able to catch him. This has been done many times before, but I still liked the story.
The sound was nice and appropriate and the main graphics are beautiful. However, the collectibles, statues. missing posters, and especially the animals, look like an afterthought. These are very easy to spot. The animals look like very childlike drawings.
I really wish there had been a walk through, but alas no. There is however a very good map, showing areas with something to do whether or not you have the inventory item to accomplish it and it does transport you to the location.
Play the demo and read some reviews. You may want to look at the forum for other comments about this game.
