After a slow start, game gathers plenty of momentum. If you like the series, you should enjoy this game. Graphics are excellent, very crisp. I particularly enjoyed some of the audible ghost speak that was used throughout the game. Nothing spectacular or innovative, just a solid, enjoyable game.
Excellent game. Great graphics. Creepy. Good story. Only negative is that it was incredibly short. I noticed how small the download was compared to other recent games, and was amazed at how quickly I was able to complete it.
If you don't mind poor value for your money (ie, way too short), definitely worth the purchase.
Good episode in the series. Excellent graphics. Puzzles are customizeable for difficulty. HOP's are very easy though. If your into a tough, challenging gamea, this will probably be too easy for you.
Main criticism is that the game is too short. This has been a common theme among developers recently, as the value level in many games is dropping because the games are simply too short.
If you don't mind a short game, you should enjoy it.
Excellent 3rd entry. Interesting story, great graphics, atmosphere, good HOS, challenging objects to find. If you enjoyed the other entries, you will love this one.
Excellent game in the series, if you don't mind spending the money for such a short game. EIPIX game have seemed to be getting shorter and shorter, and this is no exception. I was done with the whole game in less than 3 hours of game time.
The length of the game was the only negative I could come up with. Excellent story, HOP's, graphics. As is the case for the majority of the hidden expeditions, excellent info provided throughout the game on other ancient sites.
Game has everything I look for in a game. Cold, snowy landscape, creepy old hotel, lots and lots of atmosphere. It's not the most challenging (many of the puzzles are very straight forward), but not a distraction to me. If you liked the other entries, no reason you won't love this one.
I recommend this game!

Phantasmat: Town of Lost Hope Collector's Edition
Carrying the lives of many on your shoulders, you are forced to balance on the tightrope placed between life and death.
If the game had been longer, it would have qualified for a higher rating. Developers seem to be shortening games more and more, and this game, with only 4 chapters and a bonus chapter was over shortly after I started it.
It is a creepy game, and fun at times, and if you like past phantasmat games, you'l probably enjoy it. I enjoyed it while it lasted, as the mini games, and HOP were generally enjoyable. If value isn't a concern for you, then I'd recommend it. However the ever shortening of games has become a trend that it appears is here to stay. And while this game had a basis to be very creepy, the minimal storyline didn't take advantage of the creepy undertones.
Love the mystery/hoodunit aspect. Not sure what game some of the other people played, but their critiques do not seem to match the game I played. If you like a murder mystery in a remote castle setting, definitely the game for you.
I have loved all the mystery tracker series. However, this game was only adequate. I generally like straight forward, fairly easy games, and this game fits in the mold. But even for me, it was a bit too straight forward and easy. The story/plot wasn't very unique and the game was very short. I reached the end and couldn't believe I had gotten there so quickly. Add on to that that the bonus chapter was mostly a re-tread in the same areas as the main game, and unfortunately this game was only adequate. If money isn't an issue, and your a fan of the series, you'll probably enjoy it. Just don't expect anything overly exciting or new or a very long game.
