I'm a scuba diver who does underwater photography, so this game really appealed to me. The prior review provides a complete summary of this game. It is fun, it is challenging (to the point of being frustrating at times!) but it has very little match 3 within it, and those are super simple. The fish here are as disinterested in you taking their picture as they truly are underwater, which is the most frustrating part of it! They don't pose for the camera in either venue, so you end up with more tail and back shots than really good photos! Try it, it is a lot of fun, but they need to re-categorize this game out of March 3.
I recommend this game!

This classic story is brought to life in this match 3 that is geared toward children and beginner match 3 players. The graphics are cartoon-like, the music is soothing, the icons are nice and big, the colors are bold and bright, and the power-ups/bonus icons are very plentiful and introduced over time, so the new player or youngster learns as they go along. There isn't a count-down timer, so no pressure. Munchkins appear in the icons and are dropped to the road below when matched. The story follows the movie and brings the player along through each chapter. A wonderful choice for the young and the young-at-heart alike!
I recommend this game!

This M3 is a bit different, as you have to make a match with the icon attached to your cursor. It takes some fore thought and strategy when you get down to the last few icons, but you also have the option of DIAGONAL matches to help. Glowing icons create explosions and aide in clearing the area, so watch for the glow. Both timed and untimed modes are offered, and the timer is very generous The absolute BEST part of this game is that at the end of each game board skeletons wearing ever-changing attire do the victory dance! It's worth the price to see the dances! The colors and graphics are vivid and bright, and the music wonderfully eclectic, but I just LOVE the dancing skeletons! Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is a very different concept in M3 games. You have to drop colored orbs from fours rows of flying, waving dragons, to make a match of 3 or more of the same color on the dragon below. There are power-ups that are earned early. I got sea sick trying to focus on the waving dragons! The graphics and colors are bright and vivid, and the music eclectic, but this is not my kind of M3.
I don't recommend this game.

This game does not support drag-and-drop technology, making game play tedious with all the clicking, but that aside, stones are dropped from the top of the board and pile up at the bottom or mid-bottom, and your goal is to create M3s to break the stones before they pile up and reach the top of the board. You can play timed or relaxed modes. The timer and speed of dropping stones is very fast - even for an Expert M3 player. There's no goal displayed, then suddenly you've completed the level, having no idea HOW you completed the level, even though you cleared all stones several plays prior. There's a large number of icons being used, making matches few and far between, so not easy to spot the matches, and stones keep piling up! A power-up does appear at Level 1 that clears a row, but when I failed on Level 3, I knew this game was not for me.
I don't recommend this game.

The graphics and colors in this game are bright and vivid, the music is wonderfully eclectic, and I love the concept of gaining resources to build and support the underwater city; however, there is a great deal of instruction lacking to make this game fully enjoyable. There's no goal on each game board, so you don't know what it is for which you are matching, and cannot target your matching toward any specific resource to accomplish your goal. This game does not support drag-and-drop technology, so you need to do a lot of clicking. With some improvements this game would be really great.
I recommend this game!

This Match 3 is just plain FUN! In the beginning it may seem like it's made for younger players, but as the levels progress, the challenges increase with locks, double locks and changing board configurations. The bonus matches are powerful and help to clear the board, and there are numerous power-ups to aide the player along. It's not too difficult, so you can play it when you just want to play, but not have to use a lot of strategy. The colors and graphics are wonderfully vivid and bright, and the music is whimsical.
A Match 3 that can appeal to all ages for great fun!
I recommend this game!

This M3 presents challenging game boards: double locked icons, double and triple locked cells requiring specific icon matches to unlock, double and triple rows of locked cells and vertical match block icons. The boards grow in size and their configurations become more difficult as the levels progress. It offers both timed and untimed modes. The timer is not generous, but you are given the option of replaying the level or losing a life-always replay the level as many times as necessary! There are bombs and bonus match pieces that are randomly located on the board, so take advantage of them if it is an option. There is a trident that recharges quickly, so use it early. The eclectic music reflects the Mayan theme, but the graphics and colors are very dull compared to so many other games. The storyline is very loose, with collection of amulet pieces after most levels. There are no other mini-games, so it’s strictly match 3 - I prefer more variety.
If you enjoy just a challenging match 3 this game is for you, board after board after board!
I recommend this game!

As with all the Fishdom games, this one follows the same format: wonderfully vivid and bright color and graphics, eclectic music, a generous timer and medium level of challenge, so that you may enjoy this game at any time. I love these for when I want to play but am too tired for a great challenge. They are just great FUN!

After reading the first 7 reviews that came with this game on its introduction day, I was not even going to try it, but everyone has their own preferences in M3, so I did work through the trial. I was pleasantly surprised to find each game of a differing M3 variety, that it offers both timed and untimed modes, and arcade and puzzle options. The storyline is vague in the trial, so don't waste time reading the script, but DO take the time to read the instructions before each game on the first couple of times around. While the timer is generous the M3 activity quickly becomes repetitious and did not increase in difficulty even though I was in the 2nd room. Other than unlocking the primary door after finishing all six 'rooms', there isn't any specific goal of each room. I was disappointed to find the music and sound options were ON/OFF, and they did not offer volume control. I turned it down as low as it would go, as I'm into the game and not the sounds. The colors are vivid and bright, but it becomes old quickly. If you’re looking for an M3 for those times when you want to play to relax, this is the game for you, but I won’t buy it. There are many more M3 available that are more interesting.
I don't recommend this game.
