I played this game a couple of weeks ago on a different game site and thought "Wow, I've got to get back to my Big Fish; they would NEVER put a game like this on THEIR site . . . " Okay, so I was wrong about that. But I am NOT wrong about this game. The first thing I didn't like about it was their pathetic attempt to capitalize on the popularity of the awesome TV show, Criminal Minds, which I love. That was bad enough, but if you add on the poor graphics, bad dialogue, extremely easy minigames, difficult to decipher hidden objects, and that it was easy to figure out "who dunnit" -- you get a stinker of a game.

First, let me say I never played the two previous games in the trilogy. And I don't feel I missed out on anything. The flashbacks were enough to give me a general idea of what had happened. Secondly, the man who provided the voice of the main character had a sexy, calm demeanor and that is the only reason I played the game to the end. Puzzles were pathetically easy and there was a lot of handholding throughout the entire game. Plus, the shortness of the game was ridiculous. I'm assuming from the ending that there will be yet a 4th installment. Hope the developer finds new talent before they decide to release that one.

This was one of those games that left me undecided about whether or not to buy it after the sixty minute trial period was over. The cheesy, comic strip-like cutscenes should have been my deciding factor not to buy this game, but the premise of the story intrigued me so I bought it. What a mistake -- next time I'll go with my gut feeling. Not only were the cutscenes cheesy, but the storyline gets lost while you play the game. I found myself constantly asking myself "What am I doing? What's my goal?" Probably most game players don't care about the ending of the game's story, but I do. The length of this game was fairly short so the abrupt and goofy ending really upset me. It's like the developer ran out of time and just threw an ending on it. There was one aspect of the game I actually liked and that was the concept of hidden object scenes having their own tasks to solve. If it weren't for that, I would have given this game a one star rating.

The title and description of this game made it sound rather dark and creepy. And I do like a good supernatural, scary game, so I downloaded this one with great anticipation. I played the demo version for about 40 minutes and decided it wasn't worth continuing. I feel the developers missed the mark on this one. There were no voiceovers and there should have been, because the dialogue was poorly written. There was no ominous music or creepy sound effects to add to the "evil-ness" of the game. Graphics were flat and the shadows looked liked charcoal drawings. As mentioned by others, the cutscenes were blurry and a strain on the eyes. The premise of this game was promising, but the execution fell short.

I was really excited to download this game and start playing. Collector's Editions are normally pretty awesome, right? Not in THIS case. This game's graphics are flat and two-dimensional. No spoken diaglogue, just written dialogue at the top of the screen that I almost didn't notice. Voiceovers would have greatly improved the game. Playing was choppy and I just couldn't get into the story. Lost interest after twenty minutes. Very disappointed in this one especially since it's a Collector's Edition.
I don't recommend this game.

If you like straight hidden object games with no thought-provoking puzzles or strategy, then this is the game for you. An interactive storyline is non-existent and this game is just one HO scene after another with simplistic minigames thrown in between. Many people prefer this type of game and that's cool. But, this particular game developer follows the exact same formula game after game and I find myself wanting to scream from tedium after the first half hour of gameplay. Graphics are flat and I always have the feeling that I'm playing a test game produced by high-schoolers. There are so many other great hidden object games out there for new HO gamers or those who just want to zone out for a while.

Yayyyy! I was so happy to see a regular time management game instead of a sim building game. Gotta say, I thoroughly enjoyed playing this one. The music is lively and the graphics are really cute and three dimensional. (Not sure why one reviewer said graphics were "flat") The tutorial is very clear and informative and you certainly don't need to like coffee to play this game. (Which is why another reviewer gave it a poor rating. Not sure I see the logic in that) Anyway, you refer to your Tasks list which tells you what you need to buy to qualify for a gold star rating. There are all sorts of cool upgrades and you get into the swing of things really fast. The only thing bad I can say about this game is the poor storyline. But, thankfully, this is one of those games that doesn't need to rely on the storyline to keep you entertained.

I purchased this game thinking it would be the final installment of the "Awakening" series and Sophia would finally get back to her people. Instead, what what did the developers do? They shortened the length of the game so they could present us with yet another continuation. Total length of playing time for me was a little over 3 hours. There were sooooo many minigames that I skipped most of them. Very few hidden object scenes and they were fairly easy to solve. I am so sorry I wasted my money on this. I would recommend waiting for the 4th game in the series to come out and play that one.

This game had great potential, but, wow, what a disappointment! From the beginning, the storyline is weak and gets lost. The game just didn't hold my interest, so I'm glad it was short. One real actor was used, the rest of the graphics were either drawn or cartoon-like. Most of the time, the voiceovers didn't match the words displayed. There were very few hidden object scenes and the mini games weren't fun. I used a lot of hints because I just had no idea what the heck was happening, and towards the end, I just didn't care anymore. The ending seemed like an afterthought and didn't fit with the rest of the game. It's almost as if several people worked on the game separately and then the developers just threw everything together to beat a deadline.

If you love Burger Shop, you will NOT like this game. I'm not sure how the other reviewers can even compare the two. First of all, the graphics are flat -- Burger Shop's graphics are more dimensional. Secondly, after you play a level in this game, you have to wait for the next level to load -- there's no waiting in Burger Shop. But, the most maddening difference between the two games is that in Burger Shop, when you are ready to deliver an item, you can right-click and the item flies to the correct customer. In this game, you have to drag the item to the correct person which eats up time. I played fifteen minutes of this game and uninstalled it. Burger Shops 1 & 2 have remained installed on my computer for years.
