I won't go into the story line because others have probably revealed too much info about the plot already.
Anyway, this game reminded me somewhat of MCF Dire Grove. It has just the right amount of creepiness, horror and mystery all rolled into one.
I couldn't stop playing it -- taking an entire afternoon to finish it. Graphics are superb, as were the voice overs. The hidden object scenes were interactive with not too many objects to locate. Puzzles were thought-provoking and didn't take too long to solve. I played on Custom mode, which I loved. There is a lock-able Inventory section.
While some found Thin Ice to be a bit too gruesome, I thought it all fit together well. It's not a lengthy game and can definitely be played in one sitting. I recommend this one!
As soon as I started playing this new Dead Reckoning installment, I had the feeling I had accidentally installed Danse Macabre: Thin Ice by mistake. Game play is almost exactly the same except this game is about a carnival. Again, as with Thin Ice, the puzzles in this game are easy and the hidden object scenes are very interactive. They're almost like another little game within the game. To me, they're too time consuming and distract me from the flow of the story line.
Of course, the soundtrack and graphics are excellent, as they usually are from this developer. But that is not enough to entice me to buy the CE version. Nor are the few achievements or collectibles. I won't be buying the SE version either, but I do recommend this game only if you have NOT played Danse Macabre: Thin Ice.
It's almost like I was playing a different game from all the 5-Star reviewers. I don't get what anyone could possibly like about this NON-time management game.
-- Graphics portraying hidden objects are childishly drawn, making it sometimes impossible to identify which object you should be finding.
-- More dialogue than game play.
-- Cursor is sluggish and frustrating especially when you're trying to click on a bunch of burgers so they won't burn. And using your system's cursor is not even an option, which is ridiculous.
-- Timer runs down too quickly even on the first level. And there's no option to play without the timer.
-- After each level is a completed, there's this annoying person whistling, which gets old really fast.
All in all, just a poorly designed game which I do not recommend.
My motto: Any hidden object game that requires use of a magnifying glass is not going to be good.
Yes, you can brighten the screen, but when you do so, you lose the contrast, and objects become washed out and distorted. So even a magnifying glass isn't going to help much.
Yes, there appears to be a story, but characters are flat and poorly developed. The story gets lost in the endless parade of hidden object scenes.
Yes, this is simply a hidden object game, but yikes, each scene is overloaded with too much junk. When I have to use a magnifying glass to find a tiny bug, it's just not fun anymore. When I have to lighten or darken each and every scene, game play becomes downright annoying. I guess the reviewers who gave this game umpteen stars weren't bothered by all this.
My biggest issue with this game though, is the thin, script font used for the hidden object list. My eyesight is not overly bad, but it sure was after straining to read the list. One's eyes get tired enough from searching all over for tiny objects, but having to decipher the word list was the final straw for me.
If you're a fan of pure hidden object games and have excellent eyesight and saintly patience, then this game is the one for you.
Others have explained game play, so I'll just leave a short comment. This is an iPad/Android game and probably should have remained that way. There seems to be an epidemic of these lower quality games trying to be PC worthy, but it just doesn't work.
The playing screen is very small and icons without instructions make game play frustrating. In some instances, you have a teensy amount of time to make snap judgment moves which I don't find enjoyable in the least bit.
As you may have guessed, I don't recommend Flower Fiesta when there are other awesome Match 3 games out there.

Such an intriguing game title and description -- only to find this is just another simple game of solitaire, with no bank robbery, no sleuthing and no villain. Perhaps the high ratings given to this game is because the other reviewers don't know of all the other great solitaire games out there. Games with awesome graphics, exciting sound effects, an actual story, and great powerups that are beneficial to game play.
True Detective Solitaire 2 simply misses the mark in every way. I do not recommend it. But I DO recommend that you check out some of the awesome solitaire games that BFG has to offer!
I love solitaire games and am always excited when a new one pops up. Considering all the new gaming technologies, Nordic Storm completely fizzles out.
First, the game wouldn't go to full screen no matter which browser I was playing in. To me, this is the most basic of options that should be available to a player.
And, when you add in other factors such as poorly drawn cartoon-like graphics, cards that are difficult to read, terrible powerups and lack of sound effects, Nordic Storm is a definite 'no buy' for me.
Oh, and lastly, there were popup dialogues after each and every level which was unnecessary in my opinion. But worse than that, the background scene behind the popup box would vibrate and become out of focus until you closed the popup box. I found that very strange and have never encountered anything like that before.
I'm thinking I could probably play this for free somewhere. The game starts out by telling us to 'swipe' icons so it appears this was originally a phone app that's been converted to PC.
It's a silly little cartoon game that plays like someone's Psych class project. Instructions are poorly explained and I never could quite figure out what I was doing or WHY in the world I was doing it.
Perhaps I am not too bright and am totally missing the mark on this one, but FreudBot is most definitely NOT a game I would pay for or recommend.

I own the first two games in the Redemption Cemetery series and enjoyed playing them. The stories were totally immersive and they kept me captivated for hours. But that was then. Since then, there have been newer and better developments in gaming such as Custom Mode, Gamma Adjustment, the ability to lock the Inventory section, and realistic hidden object scenes.
Having purchased Grave Testimony, I can only state how disappointed I am with this newer offering. While the overall graphics are fine, and the story line is okay, I found two aspects of the game that kept it from being 5-Star worthy.
First, the blasted Inventory section doesn't lock down. I can't deal with it bobbing up and down during gameplay -- it's annoying and distracting. I'm having to force myself to finish the game, which is not a good way to play.
Secondly, I find the hand drawn hidden object scenes difficult to look at. Either make them all cartoon-like or make them photo quality. Some of the hand drawn objects aren't drawn well and I find myself mis-clicking. Others may not consider this an issue, but I have a personal goal of finding all objects without mis-clicking or using hints. Also, many of the scenes were either too dark or the objects had poor contrast, which could have been fixed by having a gamma adjustment option available.
I'm more than halfway through the game and will fight to finish it, regardless of the bobbing Inventory. I do recommend playing Grave Testimony it if you don't mind the issues I previously stated.
I'll probably be in the minority here, but if developers want to market their games to the English speaking population, they need to invest in a professional translator.
The graphics, although sometimes dark, were otherwise fine. The music and sound effects were well-suited to the game. Game play was smooth and the story line was okay, average at best. Hidden objects scenes were hand drawn which sometimes made it difficult to identify an object.
I played for the full trial hour but that's all I could take. I played on "Casual" and the hint button took forever to recharge even when asking in which direction to move. There were potions I had to whip up but I was unable to skip them -- I had to sit and figure out the recipe whether I wanted to or not. But the worst turn-off was the written dialogue. It was horribly translated from Russian to English, with spelling and grammar errors that were just too annoying for me to overcome.
Kudos to those players who could overlook this poorly developed game, but I just couldn't deal with it.
