I missed the first quirky achievement and I wouldn't want you to be disappointed. Now I'm playing it again just to get my achievement. I liked the Sunflowers and pumpkins before the farm but they didn't have it on their wallpaper list.
I can still see grids on some faces. The graphics should be better.
I liked the hops with the morphs in it. Don't know how I feel about the missing letters for the list hops. Didn't care for most of their puzzles. I liked the 12 souvenirs but they have 38 clipboards to find in every scene so why not have a souvenir for every scene? The souvenirs are hidden this time but I didn't mind them out in the open.
The unexpected bonus items are Mahjong and after you find the souvenirs the Arcade game which you can shoot at spaceships.
The bonus chapter has a birthday party which seems popular this year.
Replay 14 hops and try to win achievements. Replay 18 mini-games, 6 video, 8 music. 5 chapters + bonus chapter. Collect 38 clipboards, 14 morphs in the hops. Only 12 souvenirs. 8 wallpapers and 8 concept art. The concept art has a side by side picture that you slide to see before and after.
I liked the game but I prefer different puzzles. Like matching pairs.
I recommend this game!

I have every one of Grim Tales and I'm still liking it. The puppy is so cute. I wish the scenes weren't so dark. The indicator needs to be better. The window to view the art work for wallpapers and concept art is too small. The data is small for a CE so it's a little short. These are my only complaints.
I like the wedding things and the extras. Find 14 collectible oval pictures of the characters. 26 morphs in the scenes and 36 photo scraps to make 3 screensavers. The archives have replay of 14 hops and 13 mini-games. Map has achievements, screensaver parts and collectibles. 5 chapters + bonus.
In the bonus Chapter I liked the jigsaw and the paint by numbers.
I recommend this game!

I don't see why anyone could like this game. A man in a living room who yells at people. I didn't even finish the trial. Not entertaining.

Who wants some guy yelling at you. Not me. I dislike the game and don't see what all the fuss is about. It's terrible.

Lovely and beautiful to look at. I liked the relaxed puzzles like in the right order, jigsaw, matching pairs, shooting vermin eyes and rune parts matching. The gameplay can be challenging if you don't notice every detail. Like the arrow next to the light post. You need to pick up more than one items in places.
The hops are simply Lovely. You have a stain glass hops and a story box hops that is animated that I especially liked. The hops are plentiful.
The bonus chapter is about Victoria's story. (a couple from the main game). It's the middle image for play called True Love.
One thing I noticed that wasn't so great was when I would stop and write notes the owl would make sounds. Like I was taking too long. Also the leaves in the cane in the right order wasn't going my way so I looked on the guide and it has a picture of the cane but no indication how to solve it. In the bonus chapter I knew titmouse is a bird in the hops but it didn't look like one I ever seen. What looked like scissors are pinchers aka tongs in gameplay (also in the bonus chapter). I just made notes so I can play it again smoothly.
For the extras you find multiple items in just about every scene. It has very good indicators. Find 37 morphs, 30 fragments and 41 jewelry figures. The achievements are nice as you have a scene that you earn statues. The jewelry figures are owls, flowers and spiders and they are transparent, you have a scene in the extras and some look like crystal others like enamel, it's pretty. You must find all of them to access the hidden puzzle which is a hops and jigsaw that you can play over and over. The fragments when gathered tells you a few things about the story.
Replay 15 lovely hops, 16 mini-games, 25 movies and 7 music. The music has two very nice songs called fear, beauty and hatred and lake of tears. 5 chapters + bonus. 16 wallpapers, 14 concept art. I used the wallpaper with the greenhouse and fountain for a while and from the concept art I used the stain glass hops picture for a while.
I'm going to play this again!
I recommend this game!

I didn't get tired of playing this game. I thought the first two hops were hard but I liked the hops with morphs in them. The puzzles were the one's I liked. I liked the crow sound when you found a collectible or morph. I liked the secret places I found. The moving spheres that you have to open are wonderful. The museum of oddities are cool like the hairy sea creatures. I had to laugh at some things like the sign that said "Not a secret room".
I loved shooting the evil ducks. The hammer with the Fabiano look just made me laugh. I like all the throwbacks to the past MCF games.
You collect 40 stamps for pressing hot wax. 19 morphs in the hops. Only 10 items in the Souvenir room. I think they should increase that one. Why only 10? Has 6 chapters + Bonus. Replays on 16 hops, 21 puzzles and 6 music. Art has 6 movies, 8 artwork and 8 wallpapers.
I recommend this game!

I bought this with a filled punch card and glad I did as I had a stack of them. I rather use the filled cards than let them expire. I'm on the sixth chapter and I'm so bored I rather clean the spiders out of the garage than finish this game.
The hops are nice but not enough of them. The gameplay is terrible. You have all these constant chores to do and you aren't even getting paid. This game is joyless.
I don't recommend this game.
Can you stop a past case from destroying the present?

Your in London. They have Sherlock Holmes statues and pictures every time you turn around. The car is from the 1920's or 1930's. Did you see the elephant hedge?
The scenes are dark and I had trouble seeing things. When I went to stop for the day I noticed it had a brightness setting and I tried it. It washed out the picture but at least you could see it.
It only has 3 chapters. I only liked one puzzle and the skip takes too long at 15 sec. Zero seconds would be better. The hops are ok. The later chapters finding things in the truck or tool box didn't pull me in but turned me off. I like pretty list hops.
A murder investigation uncovers ancient secrets and dark magic!

I really liked playing this game. I have one screensaver on my pc now that has a moving waterfall from this game that is nice. I really liked the list hops they are art filled and large enough to see well. They were a joy to me.
The story and plot and twists were entertaining to me. The puzzles were mixed. I liked the jigsaws, in the right order, Simon said, and matching pairs. They do have a number of harder mini-games, like timing for a ball. I didn't like the harder ones like the horse puzzle and in the bonus chapter they have a maze that I was getting motion sick from, and I love mazes normally. The guide has the finished answer if you want to figure how to do things.
I did like that they had multiple places to go. In the third chapter they had 9 scenes open and the map has a timer circling to the place you have something to do. So I would just go there and figure out what needs to be done.
There is a black cat besides the cardinal's cat that you see around this city. I would just watch him play with a toy mouse.
The bonus chapter has a jeweler and his son in trouble that you help.
The collectibles are puzzle pieces that you do that has a bit of the story when completed. There is 26 morphing lanterns.

When I first tried this game. I thought oh Greta and gang again as this is her third appearance in three different Chimeras games. Kids camping wasn't in my interest as I am a empty nester. The more I played it the more I liked it for the creatures and the gameplay. I bought it and it sat for a long while. I just got around to playing and finishing it and I really like it.
It has a moss monster, golem, seaweed monster, sylvan, fairy and something that looks like the creature from the black lagoon. Fairy and undersea creature in the bonus chapter. As far as Chimeras are concern they have pictures and motifs of them.
The map lets you know if you still have a collectible to get. The map also has achievements, puzzles and photos. The morphs you collect are 26 tiny persons. I wished they put them where you could see them well in another spot but no.
You collect 48 puzzle pieces to make four screensavers and you do the puzzles. Collect 12 photos that have info on creatures.

The car I had looked to be 1920's in the game. A few scenes are washed out with a teal sky. Dislike teal skies. Too many small hops in the later chapters.
Love the Secret Room. It has replays on 12 hops and 13 mini-games but the best is the Secret Game where you find 61 morphs in four scenes. Only beef is most are so tiny that it's harder. So I can't Love the game. I liked them bigger like they have in their other games. To me this is not for a beginner.
