I Love this game. I think it's more of a hops game with 36 hops. I Love the 11 rube puzzles. The swap squares or turn squares to make a picture was good but time consuming. I didn't know at first that you could use the hint pedal just to look at the picture again to complete it. I could live without reproducing the keys. I really like moving boxes into the right place with Victor.
The settings for playing was a bit confusing. Once it set you can't go back and reset it. I used custom and I unclicked the timed mode. I could still use skip or hint. 10 seconds. The first time I played, it wasn't unclicked for the timed and I didn't finish the first chapter on time and it wanted me to replay the chapter again. I made a new profile, taking off the timing and replayed it. So much better for me.
I like having the hops in the guide. This game has 11 chapters and a bonus chapter. There are five floors.The bonus chapter is about continuing on and finding chards. I liked that the morphs and electric capacitors continued in the bonus. These collectibles have a good indicator. If you miss one of the morphs from the hops or the electric capacitors in the mini-games, you just need to go to the replays and pick it up from there.
The hops I liked the most was the cat room, pie contest and arcade. I would have liked the pool more if I could have seen it all at once. Victor's tv hops and the conveyor hops were fun too from the bonus chapter.
Bonus items-Replay 36 hops, 11 mini-games, 6 music and 7 videos. Achievements are attainable. Has 8 wallpapers. The art work which is like concept art can't be downloaded.
I recommend this game!

This came out Dec. 2014. I have most in the series and this is one that I regret not purchasing. I never trialed it or play it before. It was a big mystery and the title made me want it. You can see for yourself the big gap in time with the reviews. It's been off the market for years. It was just brought back. I think it was fixed, updated or something. No official word.
I liked the game. Some furnishing from the Civil War era is beautiful and detailed. It's a long enough game with 6 chapters + bonus chapter. The beginning has plenty of people.
The 16 hops are beautiful and fun for me with a morph in them. The achievements are doable. I liked some of the puzzles and am pleased if I can finish any. You find 43 symbols. It has about 30 Souvenirs that are hidden.
You can replay 16 hops, 25 puzzles, 9 movies and 10 music. You have 8 wallpapers and 4 concept art.
The bonus chapter is what happens after the main game. I was using the map more to get around and know where there was something to do.
The graphic could be sharper in places. I dislike a room being too sunlit to where it washes the color out. I liked the main game the best and was losing steam in the bonus but I shouldn't have done it all in one day.
I recommend this game!

Newspapers put this drama starting in 1912. Fifteen years later in 1927 we still have a problem. My friend Cathy calls me and she's in the Acorn hospital and she needs my help.
The game is a mystery and horror game both. But this game has color and it's not that dirty. Some places are beautiful and very detailed. There is a box by a man projector and I kept playing with it. You have choices to make and it effects the out come of the story. It's fun. It would have made a nice Halloween game.
The hops are pretty and some are used more than once. I only liked the easiest puzzles like the jigsaw and skipped the rest. It has 6 chapters + bonus chapter + solve a mystery.
I Loved the collectibles. You collect 20 figures from the passed games in the series. You have 20 morphs and 52 healing herbs. The place where you have the herbs only has 26 herb plants with information of what they are used for.
You can replay 18 hops, 11 mini-games, 8 music and 21 movies. Achievements in the form of medical equipment. Ten wallpapers and ten concept art. The game has a journal.
The bonus chapter is a prequel. The bonus little mystery after the bonus chapter was a bit confusing to me but I got it.
The main game has a funnel tube that you converse with a character and I found this quite fun and original. So I liked the story, choices, hops and gameplay. But the gameplay in the bonus chapter had me using the map a lot.
I recommend this game!

I play as John Blackthorne, James' brother. We are traveling together. We are all excited to see our family at the Sweet 18 Hotel. When we get there we wonder where the other family members are.
It has 3 chapters + bonus chapter. Collect 26 morphs, 14 character figures and 20 picture pieces to have 4 screensavers.
Replay 14 hops, 13 mini-games and 5 music. It has 10 wallpapers and 10 concept art. The Secret Room has 61 morphs to find in 4 scenes. Achievements has nice icons.
I liked the Concierge. She's the older woman with the cat's eye glasses. She's cool. Some scenes are too dark.
I liked most of the hops. One comic book hop should have instructions. I only liked one puzzle and that was a arcade game where you hopped across, a voiding hitting any thing, to get to the other side. I Loved the Secret Room where you find the morphing objects.
Other games have special effects and you don't have to turn them off just so you can play without them freezing. Why is there, this option on Elephant games?
Your brother gets in trouble during the filming of his ghost hunting show!

This game came out June 2017. The custom skip and hint shortest time is 15 sec. It has 5 long chapters. I liked it in the beginning but about midway I started getting bore and just wanted to finish.
The guide didn't even have a key to what color collectible went to what color box. I cracked the code and the 15 morphs are red. The 44 butterflies are yellow and the 16 tarot cards are pink. You use the butterflies to furnish a child's room called Cursed Items Exhibit.
No replays on puzzles and no replays on videos. You can replay 18 hops and 5 music. The game has snow. You use glasses to see past events. It has way too many puzzles for my tastes. The hops weren't all that. It's a OK game.
A trio of masks could bring about an era of nightmares!

The boogeyman gave his monsters masks to hand out. If you put on a mask or it's placed on you, you are taken over by the mask. These masks are hundreds of years old, they contain the magic of fear and nightmares. The boogeyman is the lord of nightmares.
I liked most scenes but some still have the moldy teal coloring. I like the beauty of Halloween and it's not gross. I liked the iced Bundt cake when loading. Liked the treats table. I liked the interactive scenes with their little surprises. The monsters are cool as are the monkey and Salem the cat. I don't like hurting animals with fleas.
The only puzzle I liked was the maze so far and used the zero skip in the custom mode on the rest. It has 7 chapters + bonus chapter which is nice because I don't like finishing a game in one day.
I loved the witches' carousel hops the best so far. It's pretty. I loved the other hops too. The interactive hops had common sense so far.
The notes you find are in the tasks if you want to read them. The achievements and a mark if you haven't picked up the collectible is in the map if you click that you want it.
Didn't like the characters all over the 20 wallpapers. The 20 concept arts has the scenes I like not finish and would have liked them for wallpapers finished except the witches' carousel is covered with a game stamp. Bummer!
Find 60 coins to furnish the Trophy Room. Find 15 morphing figures that has info. Find 21 book of monster's pages with info. The morphs are at least bigger now. I would like a morph in every scene.
Replay 18 hops, 20 mini-games, 31 videos and 5 music. Facts are owned by everyone.
I recommend this game!

My sister Agatha and the Judge Maxwell McGregor are talking and then he is stabbed to death. I'm a crime reporter. Agatha and I are invited to the reading of the judge's will. When we arrive there are several people gathered around a table. We are gassed and are locked in. I'm charged to find the killer.
I liked the twists that you can't be sure who the killer is. I like the idea of the watch that will let you see a video and know the truth in what someone did so you can catch a lie.
The gameplay was harder and harder yet in the bonus chapter and I didn't like it. I didn't like the story hops and would have liked hops with lists. I only liked the matching pairs, jigsaw, vending machine and Agatha's bag puzzles. Dislike the rest. I don't want hard. I want to relax and play a pleasurable game. I want pretty. I did like the interactive scenes.
The 14 Evidence to collect was very tiny and if it morphed, I didn't see it. It should have been bigger. It does have info. Collect 13 photos and 44 coins. It has 5 chapters + bonus.
The map has achievements, will show if you still have a collectible to pick up and has available actions which I used constantly.

The bonus chapter has a Christmas tree, presents and snow. This game came out May 2019. I felt bad for the pain of the flea bitten dog. I don't want to feel bad in a game.
I didn't like that you have to be playing in order to see the strategy guide and the notes in the tasks. I was finished and went to read the notes and I had to create another profile.
Liked the Reporter's office I can furnish with the coins. You can replay 17 hops, 18 mini-games, 29 videos and 5 music. I would only use the videos again. The 10 wallpapers has characters all over it and I like scenes. The 10 concept arts has the greenhouse and different scenes. But would like them to be finished and in wallpaper.
Over all I think it's a OK game but I want more things that I like.

Hayley called me for help. I saved her from the Hangman previously. I'm a paranormal detective. Her husband who just opened a gallery has disappeared. When I go to the gallery I see her in the doorway and it slams closed and I hear her shriek. The opening gets boring. Your doing things and it's a big yawn.
I was bored with this game until I reached the painted world. You would think they would make it exciting in the beginning to keep buyers. The purple cat with the blue and green eye is entertaining to me. Just seeing his fat little body creeping up made me laugh. Just seeing Morty the cat after the crows. Laughed again. Good effects Domini.
The collectibles are 70 coins to furnish the study. Why they want 49 coins for a globe seems like I'm being short changed. I always save up for what I want most and buy it first, that isn't it. 15 morphing statues of famous artists called portraits. 15 hidden post cards. To see your collectibles, click on the wanted paint can.
It has 3 chapters + bonus. Data rich at 1.2 G. Replays on 18 hops, 15 mini-games, 5 music and my favorite 29 videos.
The map can show you your collectible not yet found. The map also has achievements. Domini's achievements are ho hum. The ending of the trial is different from the beta. I'd like the original coloring back and the moldy teal to go away.
The hops are fun with morphing objects, placing objects and matching pairs so far. I could do some puzzles and I skipped some. Custom setting Zero skip and hint time.
Over all I liked the game in parts.
Four friends are pulled inside a movie where the special effects are all too real!

Ellie's friends come over and set up the TV with VHS into the VCR. Her dad calls her that her friends are there and she's coming. There are three movies on the VHS that Liam brought and she has three friends. Before Ellie gets to the TV her friends disappear. Two years later and the VHS is still in the VCR and Ellie now knows where they disappeared to, because she also disappears to where they are. Can Ellie save her friends?
I liked the two quirky achievements. It adds fun. I don't like, the play all the puzzles award. It looks nice but can't do all the puzzles. Has to many fool with it puzzles. Don't like the sign language puzzle. It is too fast. The put the bats in line that moves is a pain. The bird puzzle is a pain also. It won't move or won't stop moving. It's impossible. Even with the guide I can't get this award. Bummer. I do like the hops.
The game is full of Halloween décor that put me in the holiday spirit. I liked finding a morph in every scene. I also found poster picture pieces in the cut scenes and every once in a while you have a horror marionette puppet to collect.
I like the map that has achievements, figurines and posters. I don't want a game that scares the snot out of me or grosses me out, so this game is perfect for me.
There are three chapters + bonus. The trial ends at the first chapter. I'm there now and it seems short. But I love the holiday games and no game is perfect.
I recommend this game!
When the game worlds collapse, help can only come from one place. The real world!

St. Germain is talking to a wicked man and he wants to get rid of time. Dupin said our game worlds needs help. I take his hand and I'm in the game.
Revisit past things, characters and icons from past games. Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's, Haunted Legends, Redemption Cemetery, Spirits of Mystery, Haunted Halls, Puppetshow and Shadow Wolf Mysteries.
I was all in. I loved watching things unfold. I'm true fans of these games except Haunted halls, which I haven't played. I felt a cheer with each beloved character. My favorite characters are from Puppetshow.
I loved these hops. They are varied and pretty. Some hops are too puzzle like. The puzzles ran the gauntlet of very easy to hard in my opinion. The custom setting will let you skip and hint at 5 seconds. I skipped some. There are too many puzzles in my opinion but skipping helps.
The extras are replay 14 hops, 19 mini-games, 9 movies and 4 music. It has 5 chapters + bonus, 7 wallpapers, 7 concept art and 8 screensavers. Achievements. Collect 27 morphs in the scenes. Collect coins to purchase things and characters.
I found all the morphs but the second to the last scene in the bonus chapter wouldn't let me pick it up. I could see it morphing. I clicked and clicked on it. It wouldn't register. Bummer.
The coins are a challenge and fun because they are every where's. It could be in the scene, in a cut scene, in a hops. One or two in a location. It could be locked up or not. I purchase every thing they had with my coins.
Wonderful game.
I recommend this game!
