May I suggest that this game developer provide an EASY way out of the game when you want to quit. I had to warm boot the stupid game after it sent me to multiple areas. The magnifying glass froze so that I couldn't exit out of that either. And yes, I saw the instructions. What a total disappointment. Lastly but not least, I thought it was boring.
I don't recommend this game.
The hunt for Corwin’s treasure in on and your wife is caught in the middle! Can you save her?

I did the trial and enjoyed that but when I bought the game and went on to finish it, I was SORELY disappointed!
Whoever heard of a game that does not allow the player to achieve the intended goal?
The woman never gets rescued yet the game can still be completed. How does that happen? Something's wrong with that. I tried every possible option to rescue the woman but was unsuccessful yet the game allowed me to finish it with her still held as a prisoner. I even replayed the game in another mode but had the same result. Why get this if the goal is unattainable? It completely ruined the fun and I CAN'T in good conscience recommend this. Worse yet--to think I wasted points expecting it would be fun. NOT. Very disappointed. The creators need to start over.

Didn't take long to encounter technical errors. Could not change the code in the first scene. Had no problem getting to that point. The Hint didn't help any. MAJORLY disappointed. It seems they need to still work out some kinks. I can't recommend this for that reason. Bloomin shame.
I don't recommend this game.

I have been with Big Fish for a LONG time and am not sure what has happened but the once reliable games are suddenly not working very well. VA8 is a good example. It was working fine. I decided to replay it but now it's not working properly. This is not only frustrating but defective. Usually, we take a defective item back but we can't do that here w/BF. This is so maddening and so frustrating b/c I've encountered this with other games. I don't want a replacement. I want the flipping game that I PAID for to work!!!
I don't recommend this game.

This looked to be promising and was relatively easy until I hit a dead end and couldn't progress b/c I didn't have the bolt. Even though I checked the help strategy, I couldn't do anything b/c I didn't have the bolt but I had all the other items. I don't know if there was a glitch or if I missed it or what but b/c I don't have the bolt, I can't move ahead. Clicking the Hint provided one other option--submit an address into the GPS system. No big deal unless you don't have an address to enter b/c of a missing BOLT. Guess I won't be getting this game. Not worth it. I might have tried purchasing it to see if I could start over and find that bolt but after reading the other reviews, decided to spend my money elsewhere.
Let's take a vacation across stunning California in this sunny puzzle adventure game with fun trivia thrown in!

I don't understand why these Vacation games by Point 8 are problematic these days but I can't seem to get them to even finish opening. What a major disappointment. I've had more problems with BF games the last year than in the 15 years I've played BF games. I'm hoping that others will come forward if they have also been having similar problems. These games have been a lot of fun but not lately.
I don't recommend this game.
Christmas Adventures: A Winter Night's Dream is an amazing holiday game, a unique genre mix of Hidden Objects and Adventure.

I regret to say this game was pretty bad. So bad, in fact, that if they were giving these games away, I wouldn't accept it.
Many did well to point out the problems with this but Mamasquashof4 succeeded at describing my experience rather well.
There is no rhyme or reason/logic to the story. Usually one can figure out the next step but this was a total guessing game. Good thing the hint button didn't need to recharge.
In some cases, unusual words were used to describe the objects, not common words. More often than not I had no idea of what the item was that I was supposed to find.
Understanding word meanings should be a #1 priority when developing games. This game frequently led me on a wild goose chase (figuratively speaking).
Directions were lacking/confusing.
Objectives were lacking.

These Christmas games are usually a lot of fun and get me excited for Christmas. But not this one. I can't recommend it.

Did the CE trial. After playing HOGs for over a decade, its not difficult to catch on to a new game. They're all pretty similar w/the basics. This one, however, needs help. Makes me grateful I did the trial in lieu of purchasing it. I can't get past the police station (the FIRST one no less!). No help is available with the hint. All it does is point to the place where I'm having trouble. Seriously? That's the developers idea of help? Will be trashing this. It ain't worth it. There are better Christmas HOGs out there. This is not one of them.
I don't recommend this game.
Natalie must travel to the Wild West and find the love of her life, Luka! Travel all the way from Europe to the American West!

Since Adobe has gotten rid of flash player, this game is unplayable. Extremely disappointed in that I can't even play the trial. What a shame.
I don't recommend this game.
Protector
Strap in and prepare for the most intense battle! Protector puts you in the hot seat to defend mankind against an alien force!

They give only limited instructions. These games need more instructions particularly for first time users in that genre. I love stuff like this but they don't explain what a mine looks like. Instead, all that' seen is a tadpole. Well, wth is a tadpole? Is it equivalent to a mine? I have to confess that I'm weary of games not providing decent instructions. At least a graph chart of what the items look like. If you haven't ever played a game like this, beware.
