Well, here's another HOG that just repeats itself which shows zero imagination and lazy development.
It's the second of this type this week ---- way too many of these snoozers.
And despite the best and over the top effort of whoever writes the game descriptions ("join on a heartfelt quest" ---- completely silly and totally inaccurate), the game is nothing but a glorified HOG in the clutter style of games.
Just a rehash of the Amazing World 2, nothing original with lots of tired, old time filler games.
Oh well, I guess we should expect a ton of "me too" games given the glut of glowing reviews (by the same people) for these increasingly boring, non challenging "games".
I actually kind of liked the first 2 entries but now it's just an exercise in boredom ---- really expected so much more from Point 8 ---- but nothing new or different here. I really am very unhappy with these very dated HOGS being offered every week by BF as CEs. I hope for a much better gaming selection than old style visually and musically jazzed up HOGs for my membership money.
I really had high hopes for this one, but it was not to be.
Instead, it is a sort of souped up Boomzap/Tiny Little Lion style game that BF has been blowing up our daily choices with. And I am more than tired of that type of game. And, even though there is a thin story, it is just one hidden object scene after the other with simple/overly simple "puzzles" which add up to a very boring game. I do NOT play casual games to relax, or to be soothed, or to be amazed by lovely graphics ---- I play for fun, and that requires a challenge above what a 5 year old requires.
I do NOT understand why a big time excellent developer would think their followers/fans would want yet another game like this ---- unless it relates to the over the top reviews those "other" developers games get, and Elephant wants its share. Just guessing, of course.
But this is not something I would pay for, and loses its charm after about 10 minutes as simplicity, boredom, and silliness overtake any interesting elements of the game.
Maybe this game was intended for kids, no way to tell, but as the excellent top reviewer pennmom36 pointed out, this one is a huge disappointment after the superb "Crowded Mysteries".
Just clicking on the obvious got boring about 5 minutes in ---- sorry, but for me it really doesn't qualify as a game. You can go all over the internet to find things to click on ---- and they want CE money for this? I don't think so.
Sorry the review is negative ---- I am just trying to convey my true feelings about the game. I get such a laugh out of other reviewers who feel they have to make insolent and petty remarks about other reviews ---- just shows their lack of confidence in their own review, in my opinion.
But, as always, try the game if you want ---- it's free to play for an hour.
It should come as no surprise that boring Boomzap (aka Tiny Little Lion) has made their weekly appearance with this snoozer that asks us to spend hours playing their repeating game hunting for ---- hold on now, try not to get too excited ---- PLANTS!! And it's the 4th go around. Plants. Again.
Really, fellow players, can you think of anything more boring? than hunting plants? and then, play a mini game whose style was popular in 2008? Maybe they could feature a game of paint drying around the world, and even have a developer's diary of various stages of paint drying. (And yes, there is a developer's diary here ---- part of the CE bonus content, you see. LOL)
Incredibly, there are those who feel the need to scold me for reviewing these redundant games negatively. Well, sorry about that, but these repeating games from boring Boomzap once a week are really getting old. And it is just that ---- repeating itself. Everything is the very same and I fully believe that boring Boomzap has got these games already made way on up to number 10 or so for each of their titles that truly, really are the very same game.
For me, it's an awful game that has no point to it at all.
But for those who play to "relax" and want to let the brain cells take a total rest ---- buy this wreck of a game and enjoy ---- it's your money.
It doesn't really qualify as a real HOPA ---- just some HOS with some ok puzzles and a weak but barely serviceable story.
Good enough to be leveled above the junk involving animals, travel, etc. from other devs so it gets the 3 stars. However, it is not, imo, CE worthy at all
But for the sake of a simple beginner type game, I guess it's ok ---- this dev has other similar offerings but I can't remember anything about them ---- that's how forgettable they are.
Same template Same layout Same CE extras Same mechanics Same mini games Same lack of creativity Same lack of a whisper of a story Same busywork Same lack of imagination Same as all the other pitifully tawdry games from this dev (whether they are going by Boomzap or Tiny Little Lion)
Anyone that believes these games weren't made ready for a quick buck months ago ---- please take a look at my moon lots! LOL
These games are just getting worse ---- whatever they are choosing as their topic. Thank goodness for the astute developers we can still count on.
This is a game that borders on perfection. This what casual gaming should strive to be.
Going way beyond a mish-mash of cluttery hidden objects and mini games of ancient technology, this beautiful game features a good story, fantastic graphics, intelligent and intriguing gameplay that will command your attention, and bonus material that actually is meaningful. This is why I come to BF ---- games that go infinitely farther than little animals and busy work. I like to relax when I play but I also like a bit of mental stimulation.
THANK YOU TO THESE EXCELLENT DEVELOPERS for reminding us how great casual games can and SHOULD be.

So here's Tiny Little Lion with yet another clutter style clone that has absolutely nothing new (even the same number of useless wallpapers) and serves no real "gaming" purpose.
I will be delighted when the gaming community gets tired of these duds that are nothing but repetitious busy work with no point, no end game, no story, and ---- worst of all ---- no fun.
Completely boring rehash of the first 2 in this series which has now become a silly caricature of itself
I honestly believe that the good gamers that gush and rave about these duds have forgotten what good casual games should be. these games are "colorful" ---- so what? these games are "relaxing" ---- take a nap, they're free! these games have great puzzles ---- straight out of the first generation of casual games these games are "different" ---- so is watching paint dry.
And I am sure these next 3 or 4 "So Much" games are already set to go as Tiny Little Lion rubs their tiny little corporate hands together in greedy anticipation of how soon can they be released.
I think Tiny Little Lion should come up with something outside their monotonous box of rubber stamp same old, same old games or just go away ---- these games are terrible.
Tiny Little Lion has now officially become my least favorite developer.
I am so tired of these weak and weekly offerings that use the same template and were probably created sometime last year and just chopped into sections to be released over time.
And now, even the devs are having a hard time coming up with original titles! We have had I Love Finding Cats and I Love Finding Pups ---- so here is I Love Finding Both! LOL But that's Ok because it is nothing but a continuation of the same tedious, boring, and old fashioned HOGs that they think we are going to be duped into thinking there is something original here. I promise you there is not. Just find a bunch of things including the animals and move on to the next scene. Absolutely pointless.
An aside to Tiny Little Lion. Stop trying to convince intelligent players that each of you developers own what is now probably up to 25-30 animals each that you just love to pieces. You don't and your developer diary claiming you do is insulting.
I remember when Boomzap claimed financial hard times was what was behind these simplistic games. Still having tough times? Or, can you get off this trend of weekly junk and get back to creating the games that were what got you your fame and admiration to begin with.
I really can't believe BF allows or even promotes these horrible games.
As an aside, I want it known that I love animals very much with a multiple kitty household that until a short time ago was governed by an adorable little pup that was with me 16 years. I am also proud to say that I donate to the Humane Society when I can, and would never consider supporting these games with money I could use to take care of my own or donate to help real animals.
