Was so excited to see a new Big City! I have all of them so I bought it without even trying the demo! This trip is to Istanbul. Scenes are good, exactly what we expect from Jolly Bear. Music is themed to location and upbeat. Mini games are the same ones which I really like - except for jigsaw puzzle - I use skips on those. Only changes I see are your player name is no longer the signature on the postcard (which I thought was kind of cool), you no longer pick which family character you want to be and the "blue" scenes are a lot smaller, which I don't like. Otherwise, another great Big City Adventure and I'm already looking forward to the next one!!
I recommend this game!

This is a fun game, pretty much the same as Garden Scapes Mansion Makeover. I'm not quite sure why this one would qualify as a CE but I bought it when there was a special so got it at SE cost. Storyline is really so so, nothing exciting but it's fun to watch Scarlett move around the mansion, you can click on the bird to make him tweet, cat to purr or meow etc. The HO scenes are good, some objects are hard to find others easy. There is a camera in each scene where when you click on it you get a very quick page flash that will show you where some of the objects are - I liked this feature. All in all, a fun way to pass a rainy afternoon.
I recommend this game!

I know this is an older game but I wanted to review it anyway. I originally bought this from Play First but for some reason it would no longer play in full screen and I couldn't re-download it from PlayFirst because our games are no longer there. This is such a fun time management game and very different so I just bought it from Big Fish. It starts out a little slow so you can learn the game but it becomes more and more difficult on each level because you have to meet different goals in each level. The characters are animals, dog, panda, fox etc. As the levels progress, after the patrons eat they will request things like a drink, newspaper, oragami, cookies etc. You have to make these things and if you have several people asking for the same thing you make it and serve all of them at once to save time. There are awesome upgrades for each restaurant, graphics are very good, music is cheerful. I love this game!
I recommend this game!

I am a huge fan of Big City Adventure and a game would be hard pressed to compete with them in my opinion. This game isn't terrible but it's not great. The music is EXTREMELY annoying and repetitive so I had to play without sound. The constant talk from the family is also annoying, especially at the beginning when the Mom has the scary grimmace on her face (it's supposed to be a smile!) the whole time she's talking - their lips don't move when they talk! The talk interrupts gameplay - even with sound down because what they are saying is also on the screen to read. There are three modes of play, I chose the hardest level. I did not play tutorial because I like to figure things out on my own. The HOS are a little bit of a challenge because a lot of the items are small and as you find items more items are added to the list so by the time I was finished with a scene I was bored and ready to move on. I got both kids rooms done and made my way to the attic and quit because at that point I was bored. I think maybe for kids this would be a good game but not for me.
I don't recommend this game.

I played the demo - the game is okay but not worth a purchase for me. I don't mind the colors as some reviewers do, I found the graphics to be pretty actually. The game is just not extremely challenging and the storyline not interesting enough for me to want to know the ending. The HOS are interactive - you have to find an item to get to the next item etc. The mini games were extremely easy. The game is simple in the fact you find an item and you use that item, really no challenge. You of course have an animal helper, not thrilled with these new additions to the games but seems to be the trend for now. Music goes along with the scenes, cut scenes to me seemed a little juvenile and silly. Maybe a good game for beginners.
I don't recommend this game.

I love Delicious Emily games so thought this might be fun since it's based on some of the Emily characters - boy was I wrong! This game is so slow and so boring I couldn't play the full demo. There is not one positive thing I can say about it. You are playing poker against other people at the table but their movements and actions are very drawn out so you are just sitting and waiting until your turn. It's just a really awful game.
I don't recommend this game.

As others have reviewed, this game is not for the weak! I'm a pro at time mangement games such as Diner Dash, Spa Mania and Delicious Emily games (my very favorites) but this one is definitely a challenge! Its fun and fast, music is just repeat of same but as I'm playing I really don't notice it although you can turn it down. The negative of this game for me is if I don't get Expert I play that level until I do, with this game I haven't found a way to replay a level unless I totally start over as a new player. Even so a quirky fun game when you really want a time management game!
I recommend this game!

I didn't play the full demo because it was a little boring to me. I played on the hardest level (it also has the "customize" option) but didn't find this game to be much of a challenge and even less interesting unfortunately. Graphics are okay, music appropriate for a detective mystery, voice overs good. You have to question suspects and then question their answers to see if they are telling the truth. Overall, just not a win for me - probably good for intermediate or beginner players and people that like a lot of vocal interaction with characters which I do not.
I recommend this game!

I played 20 minutes of the demo and just wasn't excited with this game. There are too many cut scenes, to many objectives popping up and a lot of dialog which you can skip. You had four levels of play including custom which is how I set mine up because I want as little help as possible. The graphics were okay, music was non-memorable. HOS scenes were shadow (outlines) items that you look for, very easy and the mini games I played were extremely easy. Overall, probably a very good game for adventure beginners but definitely not for expert players.
I recommend this game!

I am behind in doing my review because I took so much time playing this game but it was AWESOME! I loved the graphics, the music, the HOS were interactive so fun to figure out what you needed to do to find the items listed in purple, the mini games were unique and fun - except for the one where you had to turn all of the balls white, did not make one bit of sense to me - I did two levels of it and skipped on the third. I played the extra bonus games which were pretty good also. I don't normally like games where you collect items throughout the scenes, this one was leaves, however, at the end of this game you actually do something with the leaves you have collected and it opens another short chapter you can play. A great buy for me with a lot of game time.
I recommend this game!
