I had read the reviews and since they were split decided to try it because I love time management games. The concept of this game is good, you have to gather ingredients from a list, process and cook them so a little time management and hos. The loading process is a little slow at first but I didn't have any problems with it being slow after the first scene where you click on the place you will be working. You can skip dialog which I did because it seemed a little silly. I had no problems clicking on objects and obtaining expert score. People kept talking about a frying pan in the first scene, I did not see anything that required a frying pan, however, there is a silver bowl with a whisk that looked similar to a frying pan that I had to use. After playing a few minutes I had to exit the game then tried to come back in hence problems. Three different times I tried to go back into the game, it completely froze my computer up where I could not even launch task manager, I had to hold the power button down until it went off. So no buy for me since I was having the same problem some of the other reviewers had mentioned.
I don't recommend this game.

I played the full demo of this game. I played it on the hardest level and never used the hint or skip. The mini games are fun and a little different than the norm but not hard at all. The HOS are pretty easy and interactive, there was also at least one fractional. You have the cat to tell you the story and help retrieve items, I'm never crazy about this part of games but seems to be the trend. The graphics are good, I wouldn't say excellent but very good. Music is nice, fantasy type quiet music. The storyline is actually semi interesting. I played the full demo and I suspect the best is yet to come so this is a buy for me.
I recommend this game!

I LOVE these Big City Adventure games, I have all of them. Was so excited to see this one this morning and bought without even playing the demo. Played a little and love it as much as the others. These are relaxing games to me - always upbeat fun music, mini games vary according to which destination game you are playing so I always look forward to the new take on the mini games. Graphics are good, some of the scenes are harder than others to find the objects but a challenge is good and once you are used to a scene you can locate things quicker. Another hit by Jolly Bear and I LOVE it!!!
I recommend this game!

I've only played about half of the demo because of time but so far I like it. I like this series and have really loved the past games and I will say, this one so far is not as good as the others. I don't think the scenes are as nice as the other games - I really love beautiful scenery when playing - so far everything seems to be very "orange"! I'm playing on the hardest level and have had no problems with the mini games - previous games I found a little more challenging. I do love this series though, won't buy the collectors but will buy when the standard comes out.
I recommend this game!

From the intro movie to the point I had to stop playing I liked this game. The graphics are animated and fun and the music is peppy. I didn't have long to play but what I did was not too hard but the snake mini game was definitely a challenge for me. There are three levels of play, I play on the hardest level. The weird thing to me and probably the one thing I don't like is your inventory is at the top of the screen and you have to click the little icon to see your inventory, I like scrolling my mouse on the bottom and inventory coming up but all in all, this is a fun and cute game.
I recommend this game!

I was desparate for some time management so this was one of three I bought recently. Graphics are good, music is supermarket upbeat and game is fun but unfortunately it's a fairly short and quick game. You can buy employees to help out but other than the cashier they are semi-useless because they are so slow and some don't do things on their own (for example the cake lady can't ice the cakes with your help, the cart boy doesn't collect carts in the store without you telling him and the stocker has to be told to stock and you have to speed her up because she's so slow! There are mini games at the sample counter, butcher station, fruit station etc. which are quick and fun. All in all a good game for me.
I recommend this game!

I love time management games like Sally's Studio and Spa Mania so I had high hopes but they were quickly dashed! The game moves painfully slow and sadly Stella is even slower. The upgrades you can purchase come slowly and you don't get much choice. All in all a non purchase for me.
I don't recommend this game.

I haven't had time to play through the whole game but I played about 20 minutes of the demo and bought it. I've played a few more minutes in the actual game and I think it's a good game. I like the storyline so far and I love that the princess is in a snowglobe - how cool is that?!! The graphics are enchanting and beautiful to me - I don't like realistic or dark and these are colorful and light, the music is nice. The mini games I've played so far are challenging, I had to try a few times before I got the horse all the way to the castle. I'm playing on the hardest mode which I do find to be just a little easier than most hard modes but still all in all a very good game.
I recommend this game!

I didn't like the graphics of the game to start with but decided to give it a try. It's very very slow moving, you have to click a couple of times to get your product, for example if you want a cup of coffee you have to click on the coffee machine then click the cup of coffee, when you bring the food to the table you can't click in front of the person or on the table, you have to click the circle above the persons head that shows what they ordered. I also wasn't sure about the bikers, I think you are supposed to serve the pepper on their food so they would leave but not sure. I couldn't figure out the "prepare special dishes" mini game, no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to work so all in all this game was a bust for me. Also thought the music was annoying.
I don't recommend this game.

Ten minutes into the demo I knew I would buy this game. The intro movie was cool - yes I said cool, in keeping with little Jimmy's hairstyle looking like something out of the 50s or 60s! The game has the standard modes of play, I play in the hardest mode because I want the challenge - in this game in hard mode you have hint and skip, they just fill slower. So far the storyline is good, not sure where it is going but I'm interested to find out. Music moves with the scenes. The graphics are what I really like, they are very nicely done and as I move through the game I look forward to more scenes. So far the mini games I have played have been relatively easy but I've only played a couple. All in all, I think this game is a good catch!
I recommend this game!
