Based on the demo:
I liked the game and was pleasantly surprised by the extras such as collecting coins (which were hard to find at times) and an interactive map.which even showed you all the areas with coins you'd missed, marked areas of interest and allowed you to jump from spot to spot.
HOS were interactive, and a couple had a nice little twist to them.

I like anything to do with pirates, and I liked the story in this game...Beautiful wife vanishes and husband is later washed up on the shore with a hook instead of a hand.
Graphics were ok, not spectacular, but definitely on the interesting side.
A few VERY MINOR issues stopped me from giving this a higher rating, even though I enjoyed as far as I played, and might use a free coupon to purchase.
First of all, right in the intro, the writer changes tenses, then reverts back to the original one. With the level of sophistication we have come to expect, I find grammar errors annoying and preventable. Picky, picky, picky I know.
The second thing that annoyed me was the length of time it took to put a found object in the inventory. Again...very minor, but annoying.
As a side note... a red cross or an 'x' was used to warn the public not to go inside contaminated houses and to show plague doctors which houses to watch, not a white mask as depicted. Just a minor detail, but I noticed it.
I don't think I'd pay for this game, but as I said, I might use a free coupon. I think it will appeal to a lot of gamers, so I am going to recommend it. As with any game...play the demo and see for yourself.

I have played the other four Blue Tea Games in this series and love them all, so I purchased this one without even trying it out. It has not disappointed me so far!
The evil Godmother needs the 'real' Cinderella to revive her true love and has been turning young maidens to glass in her search for the correct one. .You are the detective once again, sent to rescue and then protect Cinderella and thwart the Godmother's evil plans.

Save the kingdom and reunite Princess Isabella with her prince in the exciting conclusion to the Princess Isabella trilogy!

I played an earlier game in this trilogy and remember liking it, so thought I'd give this game a try. This is based on the trial.
3 levels; casual, advanced and custom. I LOVE the addition of custom. There are 3 sliders: recharge hint, skip time and glint (sparkle) display. I wish every game had the custom option, although this is the 2nd game I've seen recently so perhaps it will become standard.
I was pleasantly surprised by the voiceovers that ranged from downright creepy to really cute. There was only one voice I didn't like, but I'm not saying which because I don't want to give anything away!
The music, although a bit choppy when changing scenes, is pleasant and I had no desire to turn it off.
The story I thought was perhaps aimed at a younger or beginner player. I am still a bit unsure about that. Either way, I liked it.
I thought the list style HOS were a bit too frequent, but then again I am not a fan of them anyway. Having said that, they are relatively easy with good, clear graphics.
The puzzles are fairly standard and not so difficult I felt the need to skip..
What makes this a 5 star game for me, apart from simply enjoying the gameplay, is the artwork. The scenes are beautiful, with bright colours and clear graphics that are a delight just to look at! I absolutely cannot get enough of these games!
I played the entire demo and then immediately bought the game. So, for me, this is a no brainer. If you like fantasy, (faeries, dragons, evil witches) and games that you can waste a Sunday afternoon on, I would recommend playing the demo at the very least.

Intro starts with a man on the phone, taking the blame for something, although we are not sure, at this point, what it is. Then we see him pick up a gun, so we are led to believe he is about to commit suicide.
Skip to the game.
You are on your honeymoon and awaken to a note from your new husband. He has gone to explore, and later take a jog. You get up and go outside, where the town is full of zombies, who are apparently afraid of rain. You are horrified to see your husband has joined the zombie ranks. Now it is up to you to save your husband and escape the cursed town.
There were far too many HOS for me, five in the first 15 minutes! Although they were not very hard, they were cluttered and some of the items misnamed; dall (?) had to use the hint button for that one, wallet for change purse etc.
I found the (female) voiceover to be unconvincing, and the music choppy and irritating, so I ended up turning the sound off.
I didn't think the artwork was that bad; certainly nothing to write home about though. The story itself wasn't bad either, and was what stopped me from giving this a one star rating.
Unfortunately, I couldn't even finish the trial, so this game definitely won't be on my 'must-have' list!

There's a dark force at work in Pilgrim's Hook. Return to your childhood home and save your twin brother from the evil that lives beneath the sea.

Short trial, only took 30 minutes playing the middle level, but I tested the beta version of this game (and loved it) so I was familiar with it.
You receive a call from your twin brother, who has returned to your childhood home, Pilgrim's Hook. As children you hated the place and he loved it. As it turns out, he has been used as bait to lure you back....
I enjoyed this game before, and still enjoyed the trial, so it is a buy for me!
I recommend this game!

A pet peeve I have is when lips either don't move, or aren't in synch with the words. The graphics and animation in this game are very sophisticated, AND the lips are in synch!

Scrabble, the board game, is a favourite of mine and something I have played since childhood, so I was thrilled to see this on my screen this morning. I played the free trial, just one game at the middle level, against the computer, and decided to use a free coupon to purchase the game. I know this is a game I will come back to again and again! Amazing graphics and great story with a bit of a twist that you discover almost immediately! What I loved about this game was the magic! You must find items and concoct potions to overcome the obstacles in your path. I thought the game was a little heavy on the HOS but they are fairly easy with great artwork so I can overlook it. Otherwise, a terrific game that I shall add to my buy list!
I recommend this game!

The story is a little tired, saving your fiancee from an evil entity, a succubus in this case, but it is beautifully done. I am a huge fan of the 'other world' genre and this game has it all; portals, magic books, beautiful evil villain. So, although the story has been done before, there are so many plus points for the the execution of it and the amazing graphics that I think it deserves a 4 star rating.
I recommend this game!

After Laura falls into a coma, you volunteer to enter her dreams in the hopes of saving her. Not a particularly new idea, but extremely well done.

The only negative comment I have would be the spelling error right in the intro. Please note developers: You do not LOOSE consciousness. You LOSE it. Tsk tsk.
