I liked this game. It was fun, but some of the puzzles were a bit too easy. Part of the game asked me some riddles. the answers were almost insulting. But I still had a lot of fun.
I recommend this game!

This game was almost as much fun as Cursed House 12, except I missed having to zap the bugs. This made the game a little less fun, and a little less challenging. I didn't see anything really new to rave about. I played Cursed House 12 about 7 times. I will play #13 a few more times, but I am tempted to go back to #12.
I recommend this game!

There are lots of spooky stories about mirrors. They do lend themselves to the creep factor. This is no different.
A witch is using mirrors to travel from place to place, doing her dirty deeds. I, of course, have to find and stop her.
This game takes you through a topsy-turvy nightmarish world of odd creatures and weird rooms. I loved the mini games, and finding the puzzle pieces. It was nice to have a guide to look at when one gets stuck instead of having to stop the game and go online for answers. I used to have to do that.
I bought two of these Mystery Case files games, (BOGO) and intend to buy more.
I recommend this game!

This was so much fun that I must have more like this.
It seems that I got trapped in the body of a mad scientist, and transported through time, and everyone who sees me thinks I'm him. Now I have to go around rescuing people who hate me.
The colors in this game were not too bright, like a child's game, and not too dark or foreboding. I found the cat a little disturbing though. The mini games were intriguing and challenging. It was nice to have a guide to look at when one gets stuck instead of having to stop the game and go online for answers. I also loved finding the hidden puzzle pieces. The music was not distracting, and the game was not too short.
I bought two of these Mystery Case files games, (BOGO) and intend to buy more.
I recommend this game!

I like spooky games. I like match three games. But this game had silly music, childish graphics and just wasn't fun. Parts were frustrating. I could only tolerate it for about five minutes when I closed it.
I don't recommend this game.

When I first tried this series I was confused and frustrated by all the complicated rules. This is not your average find three game. I tried again, and got hooked.
You may have to consult the rule book several times at first, to get the hang of it. The hint feature is also very helpful. It doesn't tell you every step. It just tells you that you need to get rid of for instance, the magnet. You need to remember how to do that. Back to the rule book.
Once I understood the rules I was intrigued, and hooked. Each level is challenging and make you put your thinking cap on. You must study the board to figure out what to do first.
Some of the levels are best completed in a set order. You will get warnings if this is not done. You can ignore them. You can still complete the level, it will just take a little longer, and involve more steps.
There are a few things I don't like about the game. If you stop a level before completion, you must start over. Certain levels cannot be exited. You must complete them, or forfeit them.
I thought about buying the first in the series, then working my way through to the current one. But since there are twelve as of this writing, I decided it best not to do that. I just went to the current game.
Anyway, instead of handling more important things, I find myself playing "just one more level."
I recommend this game!

IMO this is the best Jewel Match game so far. I've been playing since the first one came out many years ago.
There was one where I went to different planets. The last one I played had a Halloween theme: with spooky music and ghosts. I haven't played all of the versions. Some were lame. But this one is beautiful, with lots of extras.
I love that they kept the soft music and sound effects. For me this adds familiarity to an otherwise new theme. This is a soothing game just right for the end of the day. I also like that we can decorate the insides of the castles, not just build the outsides.
I try to figure out the puzzles rather than go to the "how to play" section.
Great job with this one.
I recommend this game!

The review video looked good so I figured, what the heck. I'll buy the game without playing the trial version first. What have I got to lose? What I lost was my money. The game will not download or install.
I finally managed to download the trial version, and play for a minute. But I was asked to pay for a game I had already purchased.
I tried every solution offered in the help file and nothing works. Oh well. Lesson learned.
I don't recommend this game.

I take back the negative things I wrote about the first Spellarium game. I was incorrect. These games are pretty good.
In other Match Three games once the game is ended, you have to start over as a different player. This series can be played probably forever. After the initial game is over, you can keep playing. The levels are mixed up so you don't feel you are just playing the same game over and over.
I still see no need to buy all games in the series. There are some fun surprises, but mostly the levels on the games get repetitious. The only real difference are the icons.
These are fun, relaxing games. I recommend them.

This is a nice game. Not exciting, but fun enough.
I found some problems. The story ends halfway through the game. But you have all those levels to finish with no story. The levels get repetitive, and a longer story would help ease boredom.
Also; these annoying rockets pop up and get in the way. You have to maneuver around them, or fire them, which will destroy a coin. I prefer to destroy the coins without the rockets when possible.
I bought two of these game at once. If Spellarium 2 doesn't get any better I will not buy the rest of the series.
I recommend this game!
