This is based on the 60 minute demo.
It's a typical TM builder/resource game. Not much gathering really, just enough to start you out with some buildings you need to collect gold and make items to complete your tasks. You're able to build a sawmill early on the gather more wood to build more.
The graphics are really nice and crisp and the music is ok - I turned it down some.
The tutorial was helpful in figuring out what buildings you needed to make certain items.
You start out with a set amount of workers who chop trees, mine gold, repair buildings, etc. You also have a set amount of collectors who collect gold from houses and resources from buildings. Your airship allows you to buy more of either with gold.
I'm not sure I liked having to click on the icon to collect gold or resources. You had to click on the icon directly, rather than click anywhere on the building. Once collected, the resource would drop to the ground, where it would seemingly stay forever until you moused over it to add it to your inventory. I got used to it after a few levels so I wouldn't say it was a big deal overall.
I'd say it got a little challenging around 8 levels in or so.
As others have noted, there isn't a relaxed mode and there's only 40 levels or so. On the fence about purchasing, but I think a lot of people might enjoy this.
Try it and see!
I recommend this game!

It's a TM dash game where you run a jewelry shop and need to serve customers their orders.
The tutorial was helpful and the graphics were cute.
Yes, the customers patience drained rather fast, but I never had a problem finishing a level without 3 stars even if customers left without full patience.
Before each level you can purchase upgrades, such as faster movement, chairs that boost customer's hearts, coffee boosts, upgrades to jewelry cases, etc.
Although the upgrades don't carry over to the next level, you could apply the upgrade to the jewelry cases right at the start of the level before any customers arrive, so that never hindered me. Applying upgrades to make you go faster was quick so applying that in the middle of the game took 2 seconds - that wasn't a big deal either.
The pace was good and the challenge was decent.
I did have an issue with clicks and queuing. On one level, I couldn't grab the coffee because it was so close to a jewelry case that I kept picking up a necklace instead, so that was annoying. It was also awkward with queuing tasks at tables. I'd think I clicked the third person at the table but instead queued up the second. It wasn't a constant thing though so it didn't take much away from game play for me.
In addition, you couldn't cancel queues, so that was a negative, especially if the thief appeared. You were basically stuck running around finishing your queues while the thief got away with his prize.
Some reviewers mentioned that if you had items in your hand that you needed to get rid of, you were stuck. Not so. Just drop them off to Eric and poof! they were gone. I don't recall that being part of the tutorial and I kind of figured that out on my own.
Overall, I had fun playing it and I think others will too. Try the demo and see for yourself.
I recommend this game!

After reading all the trashy reviews, I was bracing myself for an udderly (pun intended) horrendous experience. After completing the demo, with 1 minute left in the actual 60 minute trial (the game ends at a certain point whether you've used the 60 minutes or less), I was perplexed at what the big deal was about.
Yeah, the game is much different from all the previous installments, which I've all purchased and I can honestly say this was a nice change.
The 3D was a nice feature and the graphics were anything but ugly. The music was fun and the storyline, something I rarely give a moments notice to, was good.
In previous reviews it was mentioned that you couldn't tell the chicken from the egg. With a minor adjustment via the mouse wheel, you're able to see eggs and meat, etc.
If you are already searching/attempting to click on hidden items or passing butterflies, then you are already engaging that mouse wheel.
I for one like the idea that I don't have to collect stars anymore in order to upgrade things.
Someone also mentioned they couldn't tell how full the warehouse was. Mmmm, that's what the metered bar on the warehouse is for. It fills in green from left to right and you'll know it's almost to capacity when it's nearly full.
You can still use frenzied clicks on machines to make an item faster, although I never had a machine turn red from too much clicking like previous installments.
I like the multiplier idea a lot. Sometimes I found my focus elsewhere rather than on my goals which created a real challenge - oh snap!
I will agree that at first, the menu was confusing as to advancing to the next levels after the tutorial stage, but that was quickly resolved.
Overall, it's not the same old same old Farm Frenzy from yesteryear. So if you don't like change, then I guess this isn't the game for you.
I only gave it 4 stars because let's be honest, even with the changes, it's still Farm Frenzy #128894409.
I recommend that you try the demo and form your own opinion. I almost made the mistake of thinking that all these negative reviews can't be wrong.
I recommend this game!

I tried the demo to form my own opinion, and have to agree with most reviewers.
There are two modes of game play. Easy and Difficult. Easy is just as you think. Easy to complete the level in gold time AND obtain the bonus items without using any power boosts. You can also queue ahead of time in easy mode.
Difficult Mode on the other hand is an understatement. It's extremely hard to obtain gold from the earliest levels on and I don't understand why it was made so. I consider myself an expert at normal or difficult timed modes, but this was beyond that. I don't mind having to rethink my strategy and replay a level but having to replay say level 4 over and over again was irritating, even with the use of power boosts.
In the end I just uninstalled and moved on.
I don't recommend this game.

Very nice graphics in HD. The goals were easy to follow and the challenge level was such that players who don't enjoy that frenzied pace will like this.
The timer in adventure mode doesn't begin until you start an action so it gives you time to plan a strategy, however, not much strategy is needed to complete a level.
It's a fun TM I think all would enjoy.
I recommend this game!

The graphics in this game were just garish. Everything was a hot bright pink or varying shades of purple pastels for the most part. What's up with that?
I actually played the full hour demo for some unknown reason. I got to level 20, making expert each time with ease, so there really wasn't much challenge.
As another reviewer pointed out, there's a glitch where the game won't allow you to serve bottled drinks (still there one year later). You can't choose the replay option in the middle of the game so I had to play it out just to replay it again. Silly.
The game play was clumsy and what's up with the guy crawling up the skyscraper glass in the NYC level? Creepy.
Although others seemed to enjoy the game, I can't recommend it between the ugly color scheme and the glitchy game play.
I don't recommend this game.

- Fast paced, good challenge. - You can upgrade items with the money you earn. - You can queue up things ahead of time. - Collecting money and hearts is a breeze with mouse over. - Storyline is bland if you're into that sort of thing - Graphics are decent

Fun game with lovely graphics, very pleasing to the eye.
You're running a bakery and start out with the basics, a bread maker and an oven. As you advance in levels, you're given new type of bread to make as well as things like a cutting board to slice bread, butter, and jam and sprinkles and powdered sugar, etc.
You'll have no more than 3 customers at one time and the option to right click bread to the ovens and finished products to waiting customers.
You have a trash can to toss things, but you'll lose money if you do. You won't lose money for leftover items still hanging about your kitchen, so that's nice.
Every so often in between stops, you'll play one of two mini games that aren't difficult, but can be skipped.
This review is based on 20 levels of the demo and I had no problem getting perfect scores on all of them, but it did get challenging as I progressed.
4 different modes and about 50 levels of play, I recommend!

The game has potential but falls short in a few ways.
I liked the idea of it all, the goals were straightforward, but I still felt some confusion several levels into the demo. Did I need 5 sheriffs to upgrade this building? No. Apparently I needed the town to be level 5...
As other reviewers noted, the pop-ups were annoying and intrusive during game play.
I never even noticed the reward posters popping up until halfway through the demo, it was so tiny and out of the way.
The music was fun, the graphics were bleh. I guess in the old west everything was dirt and....brown (as another reviewer pointed out - which made me chuckle).
There is strategy to it, and I did find some levels challenging, but in the end it just didn't sit well with me.
I'd definitely recommend trying the demo first to see how you'd feel about it.
