Farm Frenzy was one of the first games I ever played/purchased when I joined BF way back when, and I was hooked.
This game has been around the block a few times with different versions.
I like how the last two incarnations have made interesting and fun changes to the game. It's refreshing and keeps the game from going stale.
I agree with some that that menus for purchasing farm animals, or using your boosters could have been designed a bit better. You cannot leave the boosters menu open without it interfering with your option to upgrade your truck or warehouse. Not having it open makes you tend to forget you might even have a booster to use. Perhaps make it a smaller menu or have it run bottom to top instead of left to right on the screen.
Other than that, the game play was fun. Same premise as previous installments.
I really liked the jackpot option to earn boosters, or extra tokens or stars. I won more often than not, and it allowed me to upgrade things sooner than later. You can also earn coins when you win awards (achievements).
I completed 10 levels of the demo, and I recommend you give it a try!

I was afraid this was going to be a quick, and easy game that offered no challenge. I was wrong...yay! There are no modes of play. What you see is what you get.
The first few levels are tutorial levels, and they gave you enough time to work through the course; however, the levels did progressively become more challenging. As another reviewer mentioned, the timer is not rushing you, but you don't want to stand around with your head in the clouds either.
It is your standard strategy/TM game that has you clearing paths, and repairing resource buildings such as sawmills, farms, mines, etc. You can queue ahead, and you can also remove a task from the queue with a right click, but do it before your worker sets out for that task.
There are bonuses that are introduced into the game like the standard run faster, +1 resources, etc., and there are 25 achievements that have three levels to some of them (bronze/silver/gold).
There's about 40 levels in all, and I think it will appeal to people who prefer a sort of relaxed game-play, as well as people who prefer a bit of a challenge, but don't want to tear their hair out.

Whoever categorized this as a Hidden Object game has done a disservice by doing that, and opens up the game to a bad review based solely on the fact it isn't a boring old Hidden Object game. There's already one terrible review like that. Seriously folks, if you can't rate a game based on the actual game play, then don't post a review at all.
It's a rare thing for me to even look at a Hidden Object game unless it grabs my attention for some reason. This game caught my attention because the title seemed more like a Time Management or Strategy game.
That being said, this game is more of an RPG/Adventure game, with quests to complete and lots of characters to interact with.
There are no clear instructions or tutorials in the beginning, but it didn't take long to get the hang of things.
You have an inventory that shows items you collect along the way; an interactive map that slowly reveals itself as you progress through the game. You can move from place to place by using the arrows on the screen, or by selecting the area on the map.
There's trading/bartering with merchants to get items needed to complete quests. There are also items to find throughout the landscape that you can pick up and sell for coin. Resting at the various inns and campsites gain you hearts which are needed to progress, among other things.
There is a hint button in the event you need to be steered in the right direction, but it will only provide basic information, such as, "go to the mill".
I do wish there was a journal of sorts to keep track of any quests you have pending, but overall I really enjoyed the demo and look forward to playing more of the game.
I recommend this game!

I started this series with the 10th installment, which was Emily's New Beginning. Emily's Wonder Wedding is actually the 8th installment. We seem to be heading backwards with the series on BF. Regardless, this series is really fun to play.
50 levels of play, consisting of two levels per "episode", with an "Invitation Challenge" after every episode. It's sort of like a mini-game that's really challenging to complete. Fast-paced timed challenge.
If you are like me and are going backwards in the series, there are a few things different. One, there is no menu to plan. New items are offered every level, and serve enough of an item, and it will turn "extra tasty" granting you additional cash when served.
The storyline (which I rarely give a hoot about) is cute and is not just filler, although I do wish the developers would have made it more fluid without having to "click to continue" as much.
Although it's odd that BF is offering up the game in a backwards sort of story arc, I definitely recommend the game.
I recommend this game!

As with the first installment, the tutorial was slim pickings. Explains how to build things, but I felt like there should have been a little more explanation about the importance of increasing the town level perhaps.
There's no difficulty option to choose from at the start; however, I did notice that levels 1-10 are labeled as "easy difficulty", and levels 11-15 (I only made i through 15 playing the demo) are labeled as "medium difficulty" once you complete the level and it appears on the map.
The music is old-timey western, which was fun. You can turn it down or off if you wish to. The graphics were old west dirt brown and cartoonish, which are expected for the theme I guess - nothing spectacular here.
I remember from the first installment there were these really annoying, and obtrusive dialogue popups in your face throughout the game-play. This is still around; however, it appears the developers have relegated that annoyance to the bottom corner of the screen so it's less annoying. Although, being told in the dialogue, "if you need more money, sell buildings or build a gold mine" when the option to build a gold mine wasn't available on some levels was annoying to me. It seemed that certain building options aren't available unless they are part of your objective. This is a perfect example of what could have been included in the tutorial.
The wanted posters are still part of the game-play, and as with the first installment, are still small, and off to the side of your screen. I think a bell rings when one appears (because blink and you might not notice the actual wanted poster icon), but the bell ring may get lost in the cacophony of other sounds going on within the game.
Another reviewer mentioned the sheriff being terrible at his job. Well, I too thought the same thing with mine, until I discovered the magic of repeatedly clicking on the bandit when he arrived. I'd say about 8 times out of 10, my sheriff prevailed and arrested the bandit. Again, this would have been nice to include in the short-but-sweet tutorial devs.
I completed 14 levels and the demo ended in the middle of the 15th, and I finished with gold on 12 of those 14 levels. A lot of the times the confirmation that you completed the level didn't pop up right away leaving me to think, well did I really complete my objective? I'd start building more things, when suddenly, oh hey you completed your objectives pops up!
I want to say this second installment appears better than the first, but it's been a while since I demo'd the first so I can't say with great certainty that it is. I might consider purchasing this at a reduced price.
Try the demo and form your own opinion on this one. I can't say if I recommend it or not.

This review is based on a 60 minute demo.
The game has about 40 levels that I counted on the map.
There are three modes of play. Relaxed, Normal, and Professional. I chose Professional, and wish I chose normal for two reasons. One, you can't change modes of play once you choose, unless you change players. Two, Professional is more like Professional Cyborg. I completed 11 levels before the demo was over, and I probably made three stars on four out of 11 levels. Professional is really, really challenging, which I liked, but didn't give myself enough time to try and figure out the strategy. So for the reviewer who said the game was a bit on the "easy breezy side", was obviously playing Relaxed mode. I wish I would have changed players to test Normal mode to see how challenging that was, compared to Professional mode. I would suggest anyone else who hasn't tried the game to do this, to see if it's worth your money/credit.
Other reviews expressed issues with the tutorials not giving enough information, or the narrative flashing by too quickly to read, and the mouse movement feeling sluggish. I can say I did not experience these issues.
There is a button in the top left corner with a question mark in it that gives information about Resources, Building, Blockers, and Time. This may be helpful to some.
There are 11 achievements that I counted, which seemed like an afterthought.
Your mission goals are presented to you prior to the start of the level, as well as the bonuses you receive for that level. Bonuses include things like speedy workers, time freeze, +1 resources, etc.. If you mouse-over the bonus it will tell you what it is on this screen. Oddly enough, if you mouse-over the bonus on the actual game screen, it doesn't give you a description which is strange. Additionally, your goals are also listed on a 'hideaway' scroll on the top right of the screen. I found this to be irritating. I prefer to have the goals in view at all times at the bottom or top of the screen like most other TM games.
You can queue ahead on Professional mode, so I assume you can also queue ahead on Relaxed and Normal modes.
I actually liked the graphics for the game and didn't feel they were childish, but that's just my opinion. The music was also fitting for the theme. I did, however, find the voices highly irritating and repetitive. Luckily, you can turn the voice all the way down low so you don't even hear it.
All in all, I liked the game.
I recommend this game!

This game is a knock-off of dash games like the Sally's Salon, etc. The design seemed to chunky, and not well placed in the scenery. Oftentimes I ended up clicking on things in the pop-up screens while I was click queuing other things outside of that.
Additionally, it was too easy for me. I completed almost two regions (United States and France) before the demo was up. I could probably look past the ugly graphics and design of the game if it had a bit more challenge to it.
I can't recommend it to people who want to be challenged the way a real dash game should be, but for those who don't want a fast paced challenge, then this game is right up your alley.
I recommend for beginners, and probably intermediates.
I don't recommend for experts - you'll be bored and done with it before you know it.

You are basically clicking on things to discover elements to pair together to create an additional element (water and earth = grass).
As you create new elements, they are entered into a journal that gives you information about that element. Information about some things were left unfinished, which I found odd. For example, when I combined things to make the desert, the journal had two paragraphs, except the second paragraph started out with "Deserts are sometimes classified as" and that's it. Nothing further. Unless this is going to be filled in later on? Same thing with a couple of other elements.
It's a really boring game without a point to it. Just pair things together until you find a match to create something new. Some things are obvious to pair, and there's a hint option if you get stuck.
Graphics are clunky and the new age type music is a snooze.
I'll pass on whatever this is supposed to be.
I don't recommend this game.

I've dabbled with Match 3 games in the past, although they are not my go-to game. However, this game caught my eye, and what a fun time I have playing it!
As the levels increase, so does the challenge. You have the option to turn on/off the timer, as well as two other obstacles that increase the level of difficulty.
I played with the timer and other obstacles on, and you can replay a level immediately if you do not finish with a gold level. However, I don't see anywhere that you can go back to a specific level later on, if you chose to exit the level without completing it in gold time. It doesn't seem to matter in the long run anyway.
Each level has an objective, and once reached, the level ends. Finishing a level earns you money, which you can spend to purchase fish, and items that increase the beauty of your tank. You also earn stars that will increase your level, which over time, the higher your level, more fish/items are unlocked for purchase. The faster you finish a level, the more money and stars you earn.
You also gain stars for cleaning your tank when it gets dirty, and feeding your fish when they are hungry. They never seem to die either, so that's a plus.
Additionally, achievements will earn you money and stars once completed.
I love that you can choose the name of your fish if you don't want the one that automatically generates for you. I especially love how the fish interact with you! Particularly, when you are exiting the game, and return to the main menu, your fish will ask you not to leave, or tell you they will miss you, or joke about how the "big letters" (the game title on the screen) are blocking their view of things. You can also interact with individual fish by clicking on them. They have lots to say, and although some of it you've heard before, they really do have a rather large vocabulary of things to say so it doesn't feel like they are on a looping dialogue.
There's also a "Fishipedia" that provides you with factual information about each type of fish available for purchase.
Overall, I find myself enthralled with this game, with it's adorable talking fish. It brings out the kid in me.
