I can't believe I keep getting snookered into buying this series. Long drawn out game with bad voice overs, tedious long puzzles, and somewhat awkward story lines...either that or the tedious game causes one to forget it. I found this one a bit confusing over son and father. I guess the son's mother had an affair with his father (I think) and now she is framing his wife for something. The wife can't talk (why?) and the son's mother steals the baby....go figure that one out.
I was glad it was finally over. There was no custom settings option so even in the casual game, the skip and hint were slow which added to the frustration of this puzzle infused game. I really have to remember not to keep buying these games....glad I got it on sale.
I don't recommend this game.

I guess this is a game you need to play with the timer to spice it up. A very slow builder match 3 with elementary graphics and annoying sound. Same thing over and over again. I finally made it to the end.
Artifact Quest 2 wasn't much different. If you want to buy these games, just get one as they are pretty much the same. I don't understand all the good reviews.
I don't recommend this game.

This match 3 was a builder game which made it interesting, however if it had not been it would have just been a same-o same-o, somewhat tedious game.
The game did have some different match options which broke up the slide and drop, but not much else. Just a standard match 3. There were only 2 power-ups which took forever to refresh and were pretty lame. The on board bombs, etc were a bit more useful, but not much. I did play untimed which also game you stars to win, however there were very few which were not 3 star wins. Must have an easy timer I would suspect.
Anyway, your choice. I like a bit more pizza to my match 3, even untimed; a bit more use of strategy...this didn't have that feature.
I recommend this game!

Awkward, slow moving game. I couldn't even get past the demo. I have several in this series and I almost bought this without demoing it...whew, glad I did.
Way to much annoying dialog, then a HOS, then a puzzle. Good grief, where's the story? Boring, awkward overly dramatic game. No buy for me.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is full or puzzles and HOS and if that is to your liking, you will love it, but I found it totally tedious. There is a story there but all the puzzles and HOS take away from that. Glad to see it end.
The HOS do have an alternate game if you need a change. I set the hint and skip to be quick and I'm sure glad I did. Often items in the HOS were in such dark areas you need the hint to find them.
Voice overs were tolerable, but I shut the music down. Graphics were dark, but well done. Characters were stiff and comic book like.
All in all, I played with my chin in one hand just numbly working the game and cringing every time a puzzle and HOS appeared which was almost constantly.
I have several of the Fear for Sale series and I just don't remember them being so tedious. I'm not recommending this but if puzzles and HOS are your thing...go for it.
I don't recommend this game.

Most of my reviews about the Adam Wolfe series are posted in the first one which basically are the same for this one. An excellent, fun but challenging game.
This one has chapters 3 and 4 in it as the first one has chapter 1 and 2 but each chapter can stand on its own the common thread being his search for his sister.
I found the game a total hoot and enjoyed the dialog, of which there is a lot as well as terrific animations and graphics. Not really sure the need for the dire warning in the beginning.
I recommend this game!

Of all the games I have played over the years this is one of the most unusual, challenging and fun games I've played. For once I can say the voice overs were excellent, as well as the animations and graphics.
A lot of dialog, but it is so well written and the voice overs so pleasing I found myself actually looking forward to them...too bad Adam Wolfe is real, what a handsome guy with a lot of "cheek".
At first I thought when the first chapter ended "what a short game", then it went into chapter two...very unusual way of playing a game. I found myself having to use the skip A LOT. Not a hand-holding game. I had it set on the "options" level so the skip and hint refreshed quickly and the map would show all. The transporter map was excellent and needed. I never use a tutorial, but I wonder if it may have helped navigate some of the "dead zones" in this game. Took a bit of thinking sometimes.
HOS were unique to say the least and the mini games/puzzles could be challenging...I did skip some of these, not much of a puzzle lover.
Please note, the game completes with chapters 3 and 4 in the next Adam Wolfe game, but all chapters are stand alone except you find what happens to his sister by playing the completing chapters.
I recommend this game!

I downloaded this as a demo and got about 3 levels into it and was bored stiff. Unless the game became a real gripper on higher levels I was finding it to be awkward and not fun at all. Into the round file with this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I really enjoyed playing this game but it was a real challenge. I've been playing these games for a long time and had to use the hint quite a bit. This was a long game.
This game certainly didn't hold your hand, you had to work at it. I played on Custom mode so I had set the hint and skip to refresh really quickly otherwise I would probably still be playing it. Things didn't work real smoothly here and a in a couple of HOS I just couldn't get them to work right, but after awhile worked them out.
Transporter map was small and confusing since it didn't really show where the next place was to go...it just gave you sometimes up to about 5 places...way too much work so I just used the hint to move around.
Puzzles were OK...I'm not a puzzle player so I played some and skipped some so I'm probably not a real good judge about whether they were good or not. HOS could be difficult and items hard to see at times. Not sure if it was my computer but the game seemed "sticky"...that's the only way I can describe it. Never had that trouble with other games.
I certainly wouldn't recommend this game for first time players, but it would present a challenge to seasoned ones.
Graphics, voice-overs were excellent, although dark at times.
I recommend this game!

Like most games, the demo's appear interesting, however this game got really monotonous after awhile. Go here, pick this up, go there....good grief so very tiring. The transporter map was good but I got tired of using it constantly so just used the hint to navigate around...especially toward the end.
Custom setting allows you to set the hint and skip to charge very quickly and it was definitely needed in this game. A lot of HOS, puzzles and DIALOG! Got really tired of that. Instructions were not always clear on puzzles..skipped a lot of these basically because they were tedious and I just wanted the game to get over.
It did give you the option of including that annoying "little friend" which was nice. Ending was pretty pale. This may have been a good game if they had not tried to include everything...became very maudlin.
I don't recommend this game.
