Designed a lot like Runfell. Totally enjoyable match 3 game (and there are so few out there). Always love the multiple game board that you navigate via caves, etc.
I play on relaxed, but there is still a lot of challenge and fun. If you really like a challenge I would suggest the timed option because there are so many things you have to do to actually complete the game levels.
VERY long game play which I had to play at several sittings. Totally a great match 3 and highly suggested. However you will definitely need to turn off the leprechaun voice...it is REALLY annoying.
Only "con" for me were the Battles...those really got frustrating. There are mini games which you can skip or opt out of completely and they do not affect your score. Have Fun!
I recommend this game!

This is a timed game, but the timer is VERY generous. I only had to pay a few levels over so there is no stress to it.
I love how it says "chill out, chill out" when it is loading it's tiles. How can you be stressed when a game says that. Good match 3 fun played on an unusual board. Appeared to be a long game since I had to play it in several sittings. Don't let the "timed" chase you away, this is a fun game.
Had dialog, but you can skip that. There seems to be a couple of options for play. Have fun!
I recommend this game!

Good grief...I indicate I don't want a "tutorial" but I get one anyway. That sealed it for me...I don't like having to perform for a tutorial before I can play a level. Very irritating. Wasn't that impressed with the game anyway. Small tiles and too much dialog. I had to turn that annoying leprechaun off.
I don't recommend this game.

I play a lot of match 3's and this has to be one of the best match 3 games which required a definate use of strategy. Playing on "normal" mode you have limited moves and gives you "stars" to shoot for although I have no idea what collecting stars does, but playing in normal mode makes the game much more fun.
I played the game twice to try and beat my score and it did seem as if some of the board changed, or maybe I just forget, but I actually had to resort to the "relaxed" mode on one of the levels I had beaten before. I believe it has a lot to do with how you use your powerups.
One of the best parts of this game is you get to keep the powerups you acquire despite the fact you "lose" the level and have to replay. Lots of strategy in this game which makes it really fun...with no stress really.
When I first started playing, I thought it was kind of a dorky game, but don't let that fool you.
I recommend this game!

This was an OK builder match 3. Not a lot of challenge just a standard match and drop game. However, I could see it being a real challenge if you play it as a timed game. I play relaxed (no timer) so it got pretty old after awhile.
I recommend this game!

Storyline
Awful
1 / 5
I have all the Edgar Allen Poe Dark Tales and although they started out good, they have dwindled down with each new installment until they now have produced a complete loser.
Very awkward game with tedious/difficult puzzles, HOS which are lackluster, a storyline that doesn't even make sense, almost all dark scenes that make it hard to see and the need to jump all over picking up items. I finally resorted to just using the hint to move around. Transporter map is good, but its just much faster to have the hint move you around.
Everything about this game is really awful. Sort of looks like the developers were just too bored to come up with good game play. Sad, this series started out so well.
Won't be wasting my money on any more of them.
I don't recommend this game.

I think I have the first one in this series, however I know I have similar games with different "stories". The genre of this game is the same no matter what game you get. Total hidden object with a few puzzles throughout.
VERY SMALL items in the HOS..very small and the clarity is not that great, a bit on the blurry side. Very colorful and juvenile since they are based around the "perfect" family that attends events, or goes on vacation etc. Very syrupy...I just skip the narration.
Game play appears to be easy at first and you think the game is going to be easy, but the HOS get more challenging as you go through as well as the puzzles. Some puzzles easy, other just plain tedious and you have the option to skip, but only after waiting for the timer to count down.
I played on relaxed but I believe there is a timed option, which should add more zip to the game. Short game. If you like HOS and don't mind items so small you need a magnifying glass sometimes, you should get a kick out of it.
I recommend this game!

I have all the Cursed House series and I have enjoyed them all, however this one is not as fun. I prefer to play on "relax" mode just because I like to enjoy a game without feeling like its a track race.
This one offers a "relaxed" mode, but you are still playing against a timer..in a sense. Basically if you don't beat the "time" which you really don't know what it is until the end, you don't get to build on the house.
You have no option to "replay" the game unless you chose to do so at the very end. I have tried several replays but have never been able to "beat the clock" so I just move on. Apparently the game realizes this and "lets you win" one now and then so you can build on the house...all in all it becomes boring and frustrating.
The "find the differences" mini games seem like the same one over and over again. Really disappointed in #4 and I was so looking forward to it I bought it without doing the demo because I doubt I would have purchase it.
I don't recommend this game.

I have this whole series and I love everyone of them. That is not to say they are not challenging. Challenge made fun. No timer just the option of playing 2 different items to get a gold or silver star. If you complete one and not the other; silver if two then gold.
So much fun to play you don't care if you don't make the gold every time. You can go back and replay a level if you want to "go for the gold".
Unfortunately only 63 levels. But still a long game as some levels take a great deal of strategy and thought. Only one odd thing...sometimes the level would end and indicate I did complete it..like level 63 for one.
You will have to start a level over if you run out of options for game play, but they game is so much fun it really doesn't matter.
I recommend this game!

What an annoying game! I mean, duh...whats with all the hints? Annoying music you can thankfully turn off. Big childish game board and, like what is this game all about. I lasted for 3 boards and chucked this one. What a waste of time to download.
Definitely a game for a child. When are the developers going to come up with a decent Match 3 game....Can it really be that hard to design? The only reason I didn't give this a 1 star is I really dislike the word "hate".
I don't recommend this game.
