I love this series but this edition, not so much. I have all the games in this series and replay them often but i found this one to be extremely hard to get the 3 Stars and saw no point at all to building the town. It did not help you in the game and nothing happens in the town it is just something to spend the stars on unlike in my favorite "The Road to Klondike Collector's Edition" where the stars actually bought bonuses on the train to help you in the game. Since TM games are so few and far between I like TM Games that I can play over and over but I do not see me going back to play this edition over like I do the other TM Games I own. I did buy it and complete the game but actually did switch back and forth between other games as I kept getting frustrated with this one. Honestly how many times can you replay a level before you say "Forget it". I never use the strategy guide but had to in this game. So even with my OCD to get 3 stars on every level that did not happen on at least 3 levels. Don't get me wrong it is still an enjoyable game and if you play on relax mode probably even more so. I recommend but only half heartily.
I really enjoyed this game and bought the Collectors edition during a sale. I am already looking forward to them releasing a new game with the same concept. There are categories such as Gardening, Sewing, Beach, etc. and each category has 4 parts such as "Find Stuff", "Jigsaw", "Sort" and "Swap". The only fault I could find with the game was it ended too quickly for me, ha ha. I hope they don't change a thing in the next series except maybe add more categories. Try the demo and I believe you will be hooked.

If I ever buy another one of these games someone please ask me what the Heck I was thinking. Not sure what was more aggravating the birds or the reflectors. Never mind I know it was the ridiculous reflectors. There are ways to make a game more challenging that don't involve reflectors that I never did get the point of. Wish I could get my money back. I did nnot even finish the game. I got near the end and still more reflectors and more birds, same thing repeated over and over on a different screen so I said forget it I have beteer things to do with my life than play the same level over and over...move the bird, move the reflector REPEAT!
I had to quit. I was so tired of fighting the game it was just no fun. I know I am spoiled by the "Art By Number" games but come on having to click on a color 4 and 5 times to switch is ridiculous. Every time I wanted to switch from one color to another the whole thing comes to a stand still while you click, click, click and click again to get it to change from one color to another. Sorry, just too aggravating. A "No Buy" for me.
I love the Rescue Games and waited for Memorial Day Weekend to buy because I knew there would be a sale. I almost bought without demoing and am I glad I didn't. This game in my opinion is terrible. Open a tab to build a building, open a tab to hire people, go to the store, go to the store again wow, really. Just a time consuming repetition of opening tabs. I did not like that facet of the game, having to figure out which tab and where to place things. Nothing like the usual Rescue games we have come to know and love. A definite no buy for me not even the SE or free coupon.
I am sorry all the fun goes out of the game for me when all I am doing is trying to collect resources. They are really stingy with the amount of resources that they give and everything needs a lot of resources to get by. The buildings are not that bad but all the obstacles require a massive amount of resources to collect. I have the first portal game and never finished it for just that reason so a no buy for me.
Nothing about this game makes sense. Why are we picking up gloves and why do they not give you enough gloves so you don't have to sit and wait on more to be dropped? What is the purpose of the motivation center except to use up your supplies? None that I could figure out. I am very competitive and have to get three stars but by the time I got to level 14 I could care less if I got zero stars. No excitement, no motivation because no goal that I can see except to pick up more gloves. There is no story line so just pick up gloves and water flowers. Deleted on level 17 because I really could not care less.

If you can figure this mess out you are a better woman than I am. Confusing as to what produces what?? As soon as you build a building you have to destroy it and build a different resource building, constantly. All of a sudden everyone stops working, why? Even though you have correct resources to remove debris or build a building it will not let you, again why? I found this way too confusing to continue, certainly not enjoyable, therefore for me, no purchase, Always looking forward to a new TM Games but this is not it for me.
