This has to be from the same developers of Storm Tale 1 and 2. Same format and goals are similar. Rewards are almost identical and as you play you accumulate green stones which you can trade to refresh power ups if they run out. I like these type of Match 3. There are three options: relaxed, limited moves and timed. I play the timed and as you get further in the game the boards become harder and there are more boards to be cleared and obstacles before you finish the level. I only saw one review out there and they said they could not get pass Level 5. I had no problems, the game ran smooth and I was well into the game when my time ran out. I had bought the stone quarry, the house, the well and was well into the next purchase. I will wait and see what the "New Year's" discount is before I buy but I will definitely be buying.

I play the match 3 games all the time and one of my favorite series of games is the Heroes of Hellas. That is how you make an enjoyable game with all the bells and whistles not this mess. There is no time to strategize which I guess is fine since large strings of matches reward you with nothing! So basically all you are doing is making short matches as fast as you can to beat the clock. Sorry, how boring and unimaginative. Absolutely a no buy for me even at the Deal of the Day price.
Obviously I am in the minority here but I did not enjoy this version of Rescue Team and I own them all and replay them often. I found that constantly you were not given enough resources. As you approach the end of the level you are just sitting and waiting on one resource to accumulate enough to finish the level. This happened over and over. I don't mind playing a level over to get the three stars but not when no matter what you do you are going to be short and lose a star moments before you can possibly finish the level not due to lack of skill but due to resources which are slow to regenerate. Usually the resource is one that cannot be upgraded such as the BBQ Grills so you stuck with waiting on them to give you resources. Therefore I found the timer to very stingy based on lack of resources. I wish I had passed on this edition. If you don't play with the timer it is probably a very enjoyable game.
No idea why I could go no further than level five. Once i reached level 5 it never advanced me. I enjoy word games and probably would have bought if I could have moved on??
If you enjoy making match after match and while trying to get 4 in a row then this is the game for you. On the other hand if you enjoy a game that makes you use your brain, strategy and planning then skip this one. The whole game is based on making 4 in a row which will produce either a lantern or a row clearing arrow. But not every match 4 produces a lantern or an arrow just randomly when it feels like it. That is why I say no skill involved, just plain pure luck. You also have to make the lanterns or arrows in certain rows to clear obstacles because they can only be used where they are or move one row over. So basically you just make match after match under the obstacles that need to be removed to advance in the game. BORING! Story line mostly non-existent. I did play the demo but for some reason did not grasp that the whole game was going to be based entirely on the lanterns and arrows. I do not recommend this game and have quit playing not even half way through.
I love a challenge as well as the next guy but this is ridiculous. Bored, looking through my games and found this one. I wondered why I never played it beyond 3 levels then I loaded and "Oh Yeah" now I remember". There is a ridiculous amount of goals to reach, way too much going on on every level. So once you get past that there is no way you are going to collect all the resources you need for each goal and do it quick enough to get three stars. Impossible goals suck all the fun out of a game for me. I wish I could get money back. What a waste as this could have been a really fun game if they had given you realist goals coupled with the possibility of completing the levels with gold but this mess is just that a mess. This is not a fun game for me.

Until they fix the ongoing glitches I personally would not buy this game. The pictures are nice, fill in the whole pictures and have great colors. BUT...as with their other games they still have problems. The two that prevent me from buying these games are one, the problem with changing colors. When you want to change colors you have to click, then click again, then click again. It does not change colors easily and I find it very aggravating to have to keep clicking and clicking to switch to a different color. Two, is that the color chart moves by itself. For some reason it moves up and down without you moving it. These developers need to find out how Art By Numbers and Art Coloring make their games work so much better without these glitches but until they do I will not spend my money on a game that aggravates me as much as this one did.
I absolutely love this game series. I have all the games in this series and play them over and over in order. I see where a couple of people said they had trouble on a few levels. There were no glitches in any of the games that I found and I have played each one several times. I had no problems what so ever but did find that more than once there was an obstacle that needed to be removed that I had overlooked. Sometimes it is too small to see at first or partially hidden. Five Stars all the way and looking forward to the next installment of this series. Can't come soon enough for me!
I guess I just don't get it. Every color on the picture is a big block of one color and if you use the paint can you don't even have to paint the block of colors. Click on a color, click on the paint can then click on the picture and it completely fills in that block of color. To each his own and obviously some people like this, people who I value their opinions and always read their reviews. Try the demo and decide for yourself but for me a No Buy!
I am not a fan of this coloring game. As Heaven Bound said, colors are lack luster and pictures are not inspiring. I also like to see all the pictures I will be coloring not just level one before I buy a coloring game. This would be an easy fix so why the developers don't release the hold is beyond me. I own a bunch of the Art Coloring and Art By Numbers and these are the ones that Modern Art could take a few hints from. A no buy for me but someone must be buying them as they are on number 14 just not for me.
