I totally agree with another reviewer about the gimmicky “Valor’s Light.” I too can't stand when these things are put in a game. For me they offer absolutley no fun factor, and as soon as I came across this in the game, I stopped playing, and deleted it. This won't be a buy for me.

I love all the ND games, and they are such a nice change from the many other games out there. This one is very challenging, but I love that the most about this game. The story is awesome, and touching too, which the music matches quite well. I will definitely play this one again. I hope BF keeps giving us more of this type of game.
Gave this game a try, and after the second time of using the aura thingy to find clues, I quit and uninstalled it. I really dislike those kind of gimmicky boring add-ons they put in games to take up time.
I am giving this game 5 stars, in spite of the serious glitches, navigation issues, freezing my computer, puzzles not having a reset button, and spelling mistakes. Not sure whose fault that is, but whoever tested this game, wasn't thorough enough. It lacks glitzy graphics, and cut scenes, and live actors, or voice overs, but that's not what is important for the games that I love. The story is good, and the scenes are really cool. The puzzles and mini-games are outstanding, and this is what I play games for. They are all so different with some challenging, and some just plain fun. Why can't the recent HO games that come out that put so much effort into the looks and sounds of their games, and make them more entertaining like this one. Out of all the games that I have purchased, after I play them, they are uninstalled, and forgot about. Invasion 1 and 2 are kept, as I will play them over and over again. These games don't need a collector's version, as alot of the puzzles and mini-games, are replayable, and there are lots of bonus games, and also achievements, to keep you challanged. This game is great value, and I wish that BFG would offer more like this.
That's all I have to say about this game. So much back and forth, it was making me mad just playing this game. I totally agree with the only other reviewer who gave a poor review about this game. I could hardly wait for the demo to end, so I could uninstall it and put it on my "make sure don't buy list"
Title says it all. It got to be so tedious, with the constant pieces to find to fit into locks or whatever, I found it so boring, I couldn't wait to finish it, so I could uninstall it. The puzzles and mini-games were so easy, some of them all you had to do was mindless clicking and the lock or safe would open. I'm so disappointed that I purchased this game. There was absolutely no thought or energy into making any challenging or fun mini-games or puzzles that required any kind of thought. I thought this developer was better than this, I guess I was wrong. This game was one of the worst I have played lately.

Not sure why all the high stars for this game either. I found the flow of the story very confusing. Near the start of the game, you were told hurry, I have to get back to HQ's, but then you are stuck in all this mindless detail before you get back to the investigation. I agree with another reviewer who thought the same as me, that the story was lost in detail. Yes, we have to find a screwdriver, and a zipper pull. Then make a concoction mixing dangerous chemicals to spray on the rusty door of a room in HQ to get out the professor? What???? The mini games were so simple, I think they are geared towards kids, but not expert players. Another disappointment of the games that are been developed lately. I wish the developers would stop trying to push out games so quickly that they are just a copy of all the other games we have played. Remember, it's quality, not quantity, that's important. What is the point, when you can just replay a game that you have already, since there is nothing new out.
For beginners only. I couldn't even finish the demo, as I really hate gimmicky tools like the scanner in this game to find the symbols. Puzzles are just fillers to take up time, as they require not a lot of thinking, so this is a no buy for me.
I guess this game was ok, but the puzzles were way too easy, and I found myself bored before the end of the demo. For me, I don't like gimmicky devices, like the one you have to use on a new room to detect electromagnetic energy. Didn't add any fun aspect to the game at all, and I found it annoying. Other reviewers really seem to like this game however, but this one's not for me.
Complete dangerous missions amid dazzling landscapes of prehistoric Earth and alien worlds. Can you complete these thrilling puzzles in order to return home?

Now this is my type of game. Doesn't need real actors, or fancy cut scenes or glitz and hype. Lots and lots of puzzles and mini-games, that are not just for kids, or so easy that you are disgusted even just playing it, like a lot of the new games coming out now. I find with the current games, that I'm hurrying through the boring parts just to get to a challenging puzzle or mini-game. Invasion: Lost in Time gets to puzzle and puzzle one after the other, and they are different, and challenging. This is so worth your money, and I will be playing this again and again. I recall playing Nancy Drew, The Deadly Device, and really enjoyed the game Aggravation, and found that this game has it as part of the mini-games, and you can replay all the games over and over again at the end. The only bad thing I can say about this game, is when you click on a close up scene, it swirls around a bit, which is really bothersome for people that have trouble with vertigo. It's a bit hard on my eyes, but other than that, this is the best game I have played in a long time.
