So, maybe this isn't a deal breaker for some players, but definitely for me. Why do all the BTAW games have the panning screen arrows. They really hurt the eyes, so as soon as I came across this, I deleted it, and is for sure not a buy for me. Is this necessary. Can't you just go right or left without panning? But I wouldn't buy this game anyway, as it was only for kids. No challenge at all. And you can't possible count those silly little boring actions as mini games. Maybe the graphics and story is cool for some, but that's not why I buy a game. I play for challenging mini games, not to watch a movie.
I don't get it. Why do they just cut and paste the same game over and over again. I usually love elephant games, but don't know what happened to their games lately, but this one is horrible. Don't even bother with the demo, unless you need some help falling asleep.
I wanted to give this game a try, but like other reviewers have mentioned that big yellow bee fluttering away on top of the hint button was so distracting and annoying that I had to quit the game. If they would just fix that annoying part of the game for the next one in the series, I will give it a try.
This is an excellent game! This developer has put so much into this game, that you have to give credit where credit is due. There is so much to do and see, and it is not boring at all. It has an excellent story, and I love all the puzzles (I'm a puzzle fan). Only criticism I might have is to put more difficulty into the puzzles, like the way Elephant games used to. I don't think we will ever get back to the way the original MC games were, I guess those who want games like the original MC games, will just have to replay them, but we really have to give this series a chance to move on. It's a 5 star, in my opinion.
I agree with some of the other reviewers that this doesn't really have anything to do with MCF, but I don't think this series can get back to the original story line of what we all loved in the Ravenhearst story. It was a long game with great puzzles that weren't so hard you had to look up the solution on the guide, and there was lots to do. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The graphics were beautiful, and everything about it made it a game I will play again. Some of the puzzles were really great and new, that I haven't seen before, so that was a nice part of the game. Overall I think this was a great game.
Other reviewers have said much of what I think of this game. Another sleeper. Maybe ok for kids, but I don't even think kids would find this fun. I love puzzles in games, but not these kind. I found myself getting angry instead at how dumb they were. If you want to put puzzles into a game, put some thought into them, and make them fun and challenging or don't bother. Again, as other reviewers have said, go back to when the really great MCF games were out around 8 years ago or so, and see how creative and great alot of these games were. They sucked you in, and were so immersed in the story. Some brilliant games back then. So I find myself playing these over and over again with the same enjoyment. Maybe that's why they don't want to make games like that anymore, because they were too good, and don't want you to be able to replay them. Just a thought.
Like other reviewers said you either love it or hate. Well I'm a puzzle lover so I really enjoyed this game. Thank you developers for providing different games, and not just the same old. There are plenty of story driven games out there, but I play for the mini games and puzzles, so this was definitely a game for me.
Wow, I was so disappointed. This is just a typical cookie cutter game, that does not stand up to MCF standards. So boring, I could hardly make it through the demo. I will have to wait for the standard version to see if I might purchase it on a cheap sale or something. It has absolutely NO creep factor, which is in all the other MCF games. I also hated the beginning puzzle with the sliding screens. If they wanted to stress my eyes out, they did a good job. If we have to wait a year for another game in this series, it had better be a good one, and this fell so short. Not sure what game I was playing, but it wasn't the same as the other 5 star reviewers.
This game is right up there with the top MCF games like the first ones in the series. I really enjoyed it alot. They could have been a little bit more creative with some of the puzzles, but overall this was a great game and deserved it's 5 stars.
In order to get the fruit, you have to make sure your bag catches the fruit before it splats on the ground. It's quite fun, and easy to get through the levels. To make it challenging, I redo the levels to get every piece of fruit, and after awhile it gets a bit challenging. I don't think it's long enough, so I would like a game like this but with a lot more levels.
