I just finished playing this game, and I can't say enough great things about it. This is one of my favorite ND games. I love them all, but this one is great! They put alot of time and effort into these games, and it shows on this one. There are lots of tricky puzzles, which I absolutely love. If you are familiar with ND games, then you know that there is dialogue, but in my opinion, that adds alot to the story and ADVENTURE part of the gaming experience. If you don't want to use your brain, and just click along mindlessly with simple HO games then this game isn't for you. I suggest you start with the first ND games, and once you start and fall in love with the characters, you will be hooked and will want to play them all. I immediately purchase ND games when they come out without bothering with a demo, as I know I will enjoy playing. Please keep bringing them to BF. I wouldn't even mind the complete version where you can collect all the extras, like the phone charms, and easter eggs that aren't offered in the regular version and offer it as a collectors game.

I was going to pass trying the demo of this game, because I really hated the previous Phantasmat games, but reading there were tricky puzzles (which I love), I decided to give it a try. I'm thinking this is a purchase for me, and I haven't bought any new games in awhile since they are all so boring and the same. This game really held my interest, and yes the tasks for some of the items were ridiculous (not sure what the devs were smoking when they thought of these), but hey, it's a game. And it's about dreaming, so things should be silly. I love the challenging puzzles, and a good ghost story, so give this a try, you might be surprised. At least there are no stupid amulets, and helpers, so that's good.
It was an ok game, and I enjoyed the puzzles. The objects were very small and hard to see for a lot of the HO scenes. I went through the game twice as I wanted to get all the trophies, and was so disappointed that this game was missing some mini games, You won't receive a trophy for the temporal flow mini game, as it's not included. So if you are a stickler for trying to get all the achievements, don't bother, as you won't get them with this game.
After finishing about half the demo, I had to stop, as it gave me such a headache, behind my eyes, I couldn't finish it. This seems to be the norm with the new games lately. Not sure if they think this is a really neat part of the visuals, but not for me. So much panning of scenes, and swaying parts of the screen, it was awful. When I got to the HOP scene with the spinning stones, I knew this was enough. Not sure what kind of effect they are going for here, but if they continue to make games like that, they sure won't be purchased by me.
The game has incredible graphics, but that's all that it has going for it. The story is good too, but for a series that has such potential for creepiness and scariness, it falls into the kid's category. This game is for beginners only, and so for me, it was very boring, so a no buy. I will recommend it, but only for beginner game players.
I love the story concept of this game, as I'm sure they will be able to come up with a lot of sequels. The demo got a bit boring with back and forth to find parts of this to place in that. But by the end of the demo, I knew I will have to buy it, as the buried alive scene, makes me want to continue to find out more.
I just loved this game. Everything about it was so superior!! The graphics, puzzles, and story, gorgeous. This is one of my most favorite games that I will play over and over. With it being the catch of the week, I thought I would give it a try, and bought it without doing the demo. I can't say how much I really enjoyed playing this game, and would have bought it at full price. So worth the purchase.
Now this is a game that gets your brain working. You have to give this game a try, as it's not at all like a HO game, that is why it is under the adventure category. They don't give alot of hints, but you do have to read alot, make notes, follow the story, books you read, and follow the conversations for your clues to where to go next or how to solve a puzzle. This isn't for everyone, but if you want a change from the easy peasy HO games, I highly recommend all the ND games. I have played everyone, and love them all. They are each very different. This is Nancy Drew 31, and the last that BF has offered, and am very dissapointed that they haven't come out with Nancy Drew 32 yet. They are so good, though, that I will enjoy playing them over and over again.
Oh my, I don't know where to start, but LunaNik, has pretty much summed up my feelings about this game exactly. You really want people to buy the CE version, when after completing a HO scene, about 6 banners pop up on the side with ridiculous achievements. Really??? How did this get past the beta testers. To me nothing will come close to the very first game in the series, and this one was a total snoosefest again, and not a buy for me.
I don't recommend this game.

Oh my, I don't know where to start with this game. It is so slow and boring, I could hardly get through the demo. I'm so tired of the fairy tale scenes, and it just seems like they cut and paste the same scene over and over and paste into another game, with a different title. Also, another thing I really hate about the new games, is how they make useless tasks take longer to seem like the game is longer. Like the matches for instance. You needed to click on it 3 times to get the candle to light, as the first match burned out. In another scene, you had to click 3 times in order to get to the new location...why? I see this over and over in all the new games out now. Useless tasks, that take many needless clicks to complete, in order to make the game longer. Really!!! The cutscenes, and even the voices seemed like they were very slow too, eg: the candle maker. If I would have trouble sleeping at night, the candle maker would be perfect. All he would have to say is 1 sentence and I'd be snoring. Another thing they put in the new games lately, is story book puzzles, and again.....BORING!. Is it not possilbe for any the the game developers to come out with any futuristic sci-fi games? I think I will just keep playing my old games, as the new ones coming out are just horrible lately. Please give us something new and different.
